Okay, to keep in the spirit of having things moving I'm going to start compiling a list of artists who want to participate and the months that are available. Right now I'm kind of going on a first come first serve basis but that can change as we try and finalize a list:

Right now there isn't a set theme for the calendar, so anyone can draw what they want. I'm available for doing line work and other general collaborative work for other artists if they need it. I can also work on putting everything together too :3

i was thinking maybe it should be a spacey/techno feel to it. something so it doesnt look all random xD

The presentation is what matters on keeping them altogether and I think Kirby and I will be able to do that biggrin I think it'll be easier than having to sort out a theme that everyone can agree with. Also, since this is our first calendar collaboration I think it should lean more towards something welcoming for every member to want to participate in :3

I think I kind of want to see how many people are interested before committing to size. I know I'd prefer to do 8.5x11" 300dpi but I'm not sure if everyone wants and/or is able to commit to that. Although I'd preferably play it safe with that size since we'd be able to scale it down. But another thing to consider would be collaborations and if people will be okay transferring that kind of file size back and forth.

woops! anyhow, it doesn't really matter to me - but if I were to do a collab, I'd rather do the coloring part o_<;; Right now I'm kinda just doing it as first come first serve and/or what people feel like doing so there won't be any undue stress towards the ones who don't want or have the time to commit to a full blown illustration. Either way it's fine and I bet there are artists out there who would prefer having someone else color their work biggrin I know I would!

I know we haven't decided on a format or the physical size of the calendar yet. However, I just want to let everyone know that I can easily format the numbers/days with Illustrator.
If you need a few samples, just let me know and I'll upload it here.

*edit* just saw spork wants to collab maybe you can cg my lines and tirs sketch and concept collab!?

I'm up for whatever, I'd like to color more than anything, but I have an idea in my head for a full drawing if I do a full piece. Wouldn't mind January or August, either is fine.
