The Goddess sat, mulling thoughts over in her brain, until they were turned to vapour, merely existing with little significance in her head. She had been through a lot in her life. A lot that seemed to have no real substance, that wasn’t tangible.. All she knew, was the the feelings associated with the events, gave her a lead weight about her stomach, and a shard of glass wedged in her throat.
She’d never been able to exactly pinpoint the cause of such negative emotion, but guessed that, as many conditioning things, it had stemmed from her childhood. Nyesha could remember very little about her childhood indeed. She had no sense of belonging to a family back then, and couldn’t remember there ever being anyone. Perhaps there was someone… But if there was, wouldn’t she remember them?
Her mind was an abyss sometimes, an abyss even the hardest rainfall could not be heard in, for it was so deep.

She was never a nasty creature. It saddened her to know that the people she was meeting and having a positive impact, would not know this side of her. Perhaps it would come as a rather nasty shock. Perhaps she would have learnt to keep it under control by then… The female thought to Bahari, the God of Fish. She really enjoyed his company, and they got on so well. She hoped desperately that it would not taint their relationship… Nyesha had never wanted to hurt anyone in her life, ever, and she certainly wasn’t going to start with hurting a friend. When she found herself in the middle of the darkest mood, she would simply cast herself away for a little while.
Pausing to stop thinking for a moment, she looked up at the horizon. The glorious flame of the sunset peeked out from the savannah and she smiled distantly. How she loved the beauty that nature provided. She adored it. It bought about wonderful things, like rain.. and fish.. Her crystal-like blue eyes closed for a second, and she looked at utmost peace, splayed out against the dry rock.

But like the rain she was never constant, she had the ability to change and darken, to shield herself from knowing any better way of dealing with the things she felt. Like the rain she was unpredictable, it was enough that she had a handle on it, it could be considered a personality trait rather than a disorder. Her other traits such as mystery, kindness and wisdom seemed to overshadow the negative, and for this she was grateful. Nye had not yet come across a creature that saw her negative side and focuses entirely on it, and she hoped she never would.
Lying in the half light of the dimming sun she smiled to herself as she thought back to Bahari. There was something there, something with real potential and substance, perhaps she should talk to him, maybe even warn him... But when she was around the God of Fish, she didn't feel troubled by events she couldn't even remember, and she didn't feel like she wanted to hide.

Kamba had just left Mbari in the Pridelands for a little rest, and was making the most of the occasional breaks from reality she got. She loved to just fly around with no-one to bother her. Sure, she loved Mbari and she loved the Pridelands, but it was nice to have a little freedom. She was a bird after all. Noticing that the sun was setting, she realised she'd have to get home pretty soon. It wasn't too safe for a little bird to be wandering around after dark. Kamba turned to fly back to the Pridelands when she spotted something, a creature in the distance. It looked unlike any other, with huge crystalline wings. She drew closer, unable to control her curiousity... "H-hello?"
