Hop♥ Step♠ Jump♣: A Shugo Chara! RP♦
The heroine of the story is Amu Hinamori. Amu is a student at Seiyo Elementary. At first glance, her classmates deem her "cool and spicy" and rumors speculate about her personal life. However, her real personality is that of a very shy girl who has trouble showing her true personality. One night, Amu wishes for the courage to show her "would-be" self, and the next morning finds three brightly colored eggs—red, blue, and green—in her bed. At first, she is alarmed, but realizes she must have really wished to change. These eggs hatch into three Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su. The Guardian Characters aid Amu in discovering who she truly is and help fulfill Amu's dreams. Amu's life becomes much more complex as she struggles to deal with her "would-be" selves and the Seiyo Elementary's Guardians, who recruit Amu as the Joker to search for X Eggs and X Characters, the corrupted forms of peoples' dreams.
Meanwhile, the Easter Company is extracting people's eggs in search of a special egg called the Embryo. The Embryo is believed to grant any wish to the one who possesses it. However, the process creates X Eggs and X Characters.

So when she is born she is born as an x-character, Utau takes Dia and does a few character transformations with her. Dia likes Utau more because she says that Utau's heart is shining, unlike Amu's. In the end she goes back to Amu because she notices Amu's heart shining. Dia is a music lover as well as a lover for glittery and shiny things.

He had to leave for a year to practice dancing, but he will be back. He is very understanding, and can help in hard situations, and Amu thinking he is a girl, Nagihiko her best friend. His Shugo Chara is Temari, who he can't character transform with yet. Also he may never be able to transform with, it is said that Temari disappears. Also when he comes back, it now has to be the Jack, and can no longer be Queen, since everyone know he's a guy.

You first meet Nikadou when he becomes a teacher at Amu's school. He loves to call Amu, Himamori-san (Hima, means lazy). Quickly you figure out that he is part of Easter and is the one turning the eggs into X-eggs. Now that he's remembered his childhood dream, he remebers his shugo chara. Nikadou loves robots and making machines. He stops creating the embryo and quits Easter. Off to complete his dream and see his shugo chara again.
Kairi Sanjo (三条 海里, Sanjō Kairi?) Kairi Sanjo replaces Kukai as the new Jack's Chair when Kukai leaves for middle school. Kairi is tall, despite being two years junior to Amu. Unlike the spontaneous Kukai, Kairi is uptight, very organized, and blunt about faults. Even with these traits, he is so capable that Amu and Yaya call him "chairman."
Kairi is the younger brother of Yukari Sanjo and was sent to spy on the Guardians. This wasn't his choice though, as Yukari immediately begged him to transfer to Seiyo upon discovering that he had a Guardian Character. Since his sister is busy at work, Kairi takes care of the household work (and his sister) in her apartment. However, when he saw the true meaning of his "missions," he tries to rebel against Yukari, but not before he reveals his secret to the Guardians when they accidentally discover him with Pestering CDs. He switches sides after Amu convinces him he is a good person. Afterward, he leaves saying that he promised his parents and local classmates that he would return, but not before declaring his love for Amu, saying that he shall return for her when he has become a man. He also declared a rivalry toward Tadase. In the anime television series, Kairi is voiced by Mitsuki Saiga.
Musashi (ムサシ?) Kairi's Guardian Character. Musashi has traits and the personality of that of a samurai. He also has some of Kairi's traits, such as green hair and glasses. When he Character Transforms with Kairi, they become Samurai Soul. In the anime television series, Musashi is voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto.

Amu Hinamori(Joker's Chair), Tadase Hotori(King's Chair), Nadeshiko Fujisaki(Queen's Chair), Kukai Souma(Jack's Chair), and Yaya Yuiki(Ace's Chair)
Eventually, Nadeshiko Fujisaki and Kukai Souma leave the Guardians and are replaced by Rima Mashiro and Kairi Sanjo respectively. Kairi later leaves and is replaced by Nagihiko Fujisaki, Nadeshiko's real identity as the third Jack's chair.

Bio: Amu Hinamori is a student of Seiyo Elementary. She is the only one with four eggs and the holder of the Hupty Lock which helps her to Chara Transform. Because of her three Guardian Characters, Amu became a member of the Guardians, the school's student counsel, although she refused to join at first. Amu's position with the Guardians is the Joker. Her task, as the Joker, is to search for and purify X Eggs and X Characters, the corrupted forms of people's would-be selves. Ran, Miki, and Su help Amu with her task through a process called a Character Transformation, which is enabled by the Humpty Lock and grants Amu special abilities depending on the Character Guardian. Later on, Amu also creates a fourth egg, known as Diamond.
Amu's two main love interests are Tadase Hotori, the King's Chair of the Guardians, and Ikuto Tsukiyomi, a boy in the employment of Easter. However, she also has several minor crushes, such as Kairi Sanjo, Kukai Souma, and Nagihiko Fujisaki. Amu's primary rival is Utau Hoshina, an Idol singer for Easter who is jealous that Ikuto shows an interest in Amu instead of her.

Personality: Amu's classmates see her as "cool and spicy", but Amu is actually extremely shy and timid. Part of the reason for this misunderstanding is the trendy punk goth clothing her mother buys for her as well as the way in which she expresses her shyness and avoids doing new things which people interpret as 'cool'. However, when Amu wishes for the courage to be reborn as her would-be self, three colorful eggs appear the next morning, which hatch into Amu's three Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su. When one of her Guardian Characters Character Changes with her, she gets embarrassed because they make her speak in ways that she thinks are "totally out of character".

When a girl confesses their love to Tadase, he will have Kiseki reject her. His love interest is Amulet Heart, Amu's Character Transformation with Ran, but it later becomes Amu herself. Tadase has known Ikuto and Utau since childhood, but he does not talk about it in detail until the Guardians are about to face Utau. He used to be very fond of Ikuto, calling him 'onii-tan(brother)'.

Bio: Nadeshiko Fujisaki is a student in the same year as Amu and serves as Queen's Chair of the Guardians. When Amu rejected the offer to join the Guardians, Nadeshiko tries several tactics to convince Amu to join. The two becomes best friends and Nadeshiko looks over and supports Amu in her love life. However, before Amu and Nadeshiko enter the sixth grade, Nadeshiko leaves Seiyo Elementary for Europe to study dancing.
Nadeshiko is actually a boy named Nagihiko Fujisaki. It is tradition in the Fujisaki family for the males to be raised as females as part of their training so that they may play female roles in Japanese dance. The only people who knows Nagihiko's secret besides his family are Kukai, Tadase, and the school's superintendant, Tsukasa Amakawa. After Kairi leaves the Guardians, Nagihiko returns and is appointed as the interim Jack's Chair.

However, Kukai returns to visit the Guardians and lifts Amu's spirits when she becomes dishearten because her diamond Guardian Egg became and X Egg.

She is also a ballerina, though a rather clumsy one. She has a newborn baby brother named Tsubasa, who, she claims, gets all her parents' attention. It is because of this that her Guardian Character, Pepe, who is a baby, was born. Though she acts jealous around Tsubasa, Yaya does have a responsible side, once personally taking him to the doctor when he had a fever, as no other option was possible.

Bio: Rima Mashiro replaced Nadeshiko new Queen's Chair. Although Rima is the same age as Amu, she is extremely petite and has relatively poor athletic ability. Most of the boys in her class admire her because of her beauty and passive personality, while the girls are annoyed by her because of her selfishness.
Because of a kidnapping incident that happened before she transferred to Seiyo, her parents pick her up after school, but since it interferes with their work schedules, they often argue about who cares more for Rima over work, resulting in Rima often having no one but Kusukusu as company for her secret interest in gag comedy.
Later, she opens up to Amu and becomes friends with her. In Chapter 30, Rima is jealous of Nagihiko while seeing him and Amu converse with each other.

Bio: Utau Hoshina is a 14-year-old junior high student model turned singing idol. She is actually Ikuto's younger sister, Utau Tsukiyomi. Utau had tried to find the Embryo to release her brother from Easter, but she never succeeded. Utau is very attracted to Ikuto and becomes extremely jealous of Amu because Ikuto shows an interest in her. However, she eventually accepts Amu and admits that Amu would be best for him.
She was the vocalist of the indie band Black Diamond which is produced by her manager, Yukari Sanjo, as a method of using the CDs of their music to draw the eggs out of children and make them into X Eggs. When the plan fell apart, Utau quit Easter with her manager and became a singer on her own, without Easter contracting her.

Bio: Ikuto Tsukiyomi is a high school student contracted by Easter to find the Embryo. He often helps Amu even though he works for Easter. Ikuto actually despises Easter and tries to wrench himself free from them by trying to find the Embryo to grant his own wish. Ikuto has developed feelings for Amu and possesses the Dumpty Key which pairs with Amu's Humpty Lock, but currently, it doesn't fit in the keyhole. Like his father, Ikuto is a skilled violinist. The Dumpty Key used to belong to his father's. His mother, upon marrying someone else after they found her husband's violin in a foreign country and believing that he would not come back, basically bound her children to working for Easter. Whenever his younger sister tried to kiss him or otherwise, he usually tried to deflect it, because Utau was in love with him even though they were siblings. Ikuto's personality is pretty outgoing and a little naughty. He likes teasing people, especially Amu and Tadase. In the manga timeline, it is shown he Character Transformed with a new black Guardian Egg to become Death Rebel, according to Easter's brainwashing plans.

Bio: Former member of Easter. In order find the Embryo, he joined Seiyo Elementary and became in charge of Amu's class in the disguise of a ditzy but kind-hearted teacher. His dream when he was a child was to become a robot engineer but when his mentor quit thanks to his ailing wife and his parents opposed the idea, he lost sight of his dream and became a twisted person. But he recovered with help from Amu and Su. He resigned from Easter Company and officially become the teacher in charge of Amu's class. A running joke is that he calls Amu; Himamori meaning "leisure time".

Bio: Staff of Easter Company. Utau's manager, was competing with Nikaidou to see who is the first to find the Embryo. Yukari dated Nikaidou in the past and is also Kairi's older sister.

The CDs of the band were freely distributed and the people listening to it had their Eggs removed by force. As the band became more famous their song is slated to be released to the Internet together with the unveiling of the band.
She and Utau have resigned from Easter after Amu got Diamond back, and are starting their own music industry called, "Sanjo Productions."

Bio: Ami Hinamori is Amu's little sister who is innocent and pure-hearted and is very attached to her "onee-chan". Ami is able to see Guardian Characters despite the fact that she does not have one. Unlike Amu, Ami is dressed in "Sweet Lolita" clothing. She respects and looks up to both Utau and Amu and loves to sing. She is a large fan of Utau, giving her a large part in making Utau good again. Her father and mother are always gushing over how cute she is. Ami's father is constantly taking pictures and videos of her singing and dancing and doing adorable poses in cute costumes that her mommy makes for her. She is either posing for her father's many pictures of her singing or begging Amu to either play with her or give her something. She is a terrible singer.

Bio: When Kanae chiba was a small child she love all music but Metal was her favorite kind. She was forced to play classical piano music by her parents who wanted Kanae to become a pianist. One day a 10 year old Kanae Chiba was watching Metal House T.V. her favorite show when suddenly her mother appeared in the living room door way and commanded her to "shut of that nonsense." Kanae ran up to her room and started to cry into her pillow. "I wish I could play the music I want to play!" she cried. "You can." a soft voice whispered. Kanae was shocked to see a purple egg with a black rabbit on it floating before her. A few days later Ele was born. Kanae is a shy girl with a big talent and an even bigger personality which she kept hidden from other for fear of being rejected by her peers. She is a klutz and a major bookworm. Everyone thought that Kanae wanted to be something like a doctor or a lawyer but deep down inside she wanted to be a rock star. One night while playing her electric guitar on her balcony, Kanae saw a shooting star and made a wish. She wished to one day gain the courage to play her guitar on a big stage and to have the confidence to be her true self. That is how Gita's Egg was born. Kanae freaked out the next day when she opened her guitar case and saw a small yellow egg inside on the actual guitar. She had to un-string all the strings in order to get the egg out and was depressed when she realized that it was easier to un-string a guitar than to replace the strings. Gita hatched at the sound of a crying Kanae and stared worriedly at the sobbing girl. She said some strange words and Kanae's guitar became good as new. It turned out that Gita had the ability to repair broken musical instruments by saying "Strum! Strum! Jam!" And that's how Gita came to be.

Personality: Kanae is very shy around others and stutters a lot when talking to people. She is also very clumsy and often trips when walking. Kanae avoid all eye contact and usually keep to herself. She doesn't make many friends because of this. Though she is friends with Nagihiko Fujisaki, or rather, Nadeshiko Fujisaki. He is one of Kanae best friends, which connects Kanae rather closely to the Guiardians.

Bio: As a toddler Danny enjoyed listening to his grandpa play songs on his acoustic guitar. Once the boy was big enough to strum a guitar his elderly grandfather started to give Danny lessons. When Danny was only seven years old he received his first guitar from his sick grandfather. A few years later Danny's grandfather passed away in the hospital. The boy was so heart broken that he never played guitar again. When Danny was in grade school he saw a little girl playing a flute at the local park one moonlight evening. He watched the girl dreamily, wishing he could pull out his guitar and join her in the harmonious melody but he was too afraid to. As he walked home that night, Danny wished he would one day be able to play his guitar again. When he got home and looked into his school bag there was a strange green egg inside the bag. Shortly after Stix was born. Stix gave Danny the strength to pick up his dusty guitar, tune it and play the magical instrument like no other could.

Personality: Danny is cold and shuts people out of his life. He is quick to distrust people due to a traumatic childhood event. He is actually a goofy guy if you get to really know him. He plays acoustic guitar but only plays in front of people he trusts which unfortunately is not very many people. It is very hard to get Danny to open up and be himself.

After about a week and a half, she was too weak to even keep sit up properly. But someone picked her up off the streets and raised her. She was home schooled up until recently, so she is pretty book smart, but her social skills and such are lacking. Describe Your Chara Change: When she goes through chara changes, she becomes much calmer and motherly. She also becomes overly protective and worries over the slightest thing. Bio: Always being teased for his feminine appearance, Mitsuya became very unconfident over time. He always tries to dress in boyish clothes in hopes that the teasing would stop, but it doesn't work and people just mistake him for a tomboyish girl. He lives with his distant relative due to family troubles, though he dislikes to tell people that and tries to avoid having friends over at his house for that reason. His first character was born because of his dream to help people, despite how much they always seem to tease him. Unfortunately, though... His character is more girly than he is. He wished for a character that was a little less... Girly, and he got yet another girly character! A nurse character, which he is annoyed by possibly more than his first. He's not sure if he will ever be able to find a crowd to fit into the way his characters are pushing him.

Bio: Minami has always been very shy, sometimes to the point of not even talking. Her only wish was to be able to voice her opinion more and one morning she found an egg her bed. She was shocked but, she took care of it to soon find a little girl popping out of it. Her name was Pheobe and she was a guardian character. Pheobe told her that guardian characters come from a persons heart so from then on, Pheobe and Minami were great friends and did everything together.

Describe Your Chara Change(s)(look at mine for example): When Pheobe's white commander's hat adorns Minami's head not most know what they are in for. Bio: Kirika Kusuragi has always loved robots and futureistic technology. She always dreamt of being a mecha pilot or being a super cool robot girl like on a lot of her favorite anime shows. Her mother always yelled at her to be more serious and stop living in a fantasy world but Kirika never stopped dreaming of such things. Diramda was born from Kirika's love of robots and futuristic technology when Kirika was only 7 years old. Ever since Kirika was old enough to go to school she was bullied by other kids for wearing glasses and being a "nerd". When Kirika was in fifth grade she had a major crush on the most popular boy in her class and bravely told him how she felt. The boy harshly told Kirika that he didn't like nerds like her and that he only liked girly girls. She was heart broken and went home depressed. That day, Kirika wished she could have incredible beauty, courage, strength and the ability to make everyone suffer as much as she did everyday. She was filled with a tremendous amount of hate and Kiraiko was born from that hatred. Kirika didn't learn to Chara Nari(Transform) until she was 16. She was recruited by Easter only a week after she turned 17.

Bio: Akii Loves to sing more than anything. Her mother is a famous actress. She attends Seiyo middle and her idol is Utau Hoshina. She loves her voice and she's really beautiful. Akii's singing skills were known to bring tears to many eyes. She would sing out on the stage at the park and participante in the talent show just so people can hear her lovely voice.

Bio: Misato is Amu's cousin who just recently moved into her town and is staying with his mother's brother(Amu's dad) for a while because his mother can not currently care for him due to the fact that she is very sick in the hospital. He got both of his Shugo Charas on the same day when he was 8 but didn't learn to Chara Nari till he was 11. Misato is shy and soft spoken. He always has his nose in a book and he listens to classical music. He has the opposite problem of Amu's problem. He is nice and sweet on the outside but he is a wild rebel on the inside which is why Panku was born. Misato is a quiet boy so many people assume he's not nice without first getting to know him but the boy actually has a very kind heart and just wants to be loved which is how Tenshi was born.

Personality: Misato behaves shy and quiet but deep down inside he wants to be wild and free.

Little Summary of Story:
Amu is our main character. She wished for the courage to become her would be self. When she woke up the next morning there were three eggs (Shugo Chara's) in her bed. She took the eggs to school, where the boy she like whom everyone calls "Prince" wanted to talk to her. But since she pretends to have a different character on the outside she said that she didn't care even though she really did. As she was walking away from the "Prince" (who's name is Tadase) he noticed along with another one of his friends (Nadeshiko) that she had Shugo Chara's. When there was a school meeting and the guardians (who are practically the people who take care of things in the school there are four of them: King's Chair: Tadase, Queen's Chair: Nadeshiko, Jack's Chair: Kukai, Ace's Chair: Yaya) are giving the announcements Amu does a Character Change (which is when someone who has a Shugo Chara changes to the personality of that Shugo Chara) on accident not really knowing what it is and confesses her feelings for Tadase. After his rejection she runs out wishing she could just fall in a hole, when she does. She ends up meeting her first egg, whose name is Ran, she is Amulet Heart.
Amu does character change again, still not knowing what it is, and flies out of the hole. She lands on top of a construction site and has turned back into her regular self so she has no means of getting down. There a boy whose name is Ikuto who had smelled her eggs appears. He has cat ears and a tail, and is also followed around by a Shugo Chara whose name is Yoru. He succeeds in getting her eggs but she won't let him have them so she goes after them. He drops them on accident and she jumps off of the construction site to get them. Ikuto also drops something that he stole called the Humpty Lock, which he has the matching pair for called the Dumpty Key. As Amu is falling she grabs the Humpty Lock and does a Character Transformation (this is when you become your Shugo Chara, you transform into them) into Ran. Ikuto is amazed that she can do one. At first she is a little scared, but then she realizes that she is flying and she likes it. This is until she stops believing in herself and she changes back. Tadase had run after her and had seen her Character Transform. You find out that he also has a Shugo Chara, and he does a Character Change and uses his power to save her from the fall. He tells Ikuto that taking the Humpty Lock is unacceptable, but after looking away for a moment Ikuto is gone.
Amu later has to draw in a class of hers. She ends up doing it well because she did another Character Change but this time it was with her second Shugo Chara named Miki. She has to catch up to Miki and eventually they get to her and she comes along. Miki is very good at art, and she is Amulet Spade. Next when she wants to make something for Tadase, she gets help from Su her third Shugo Chara, who is really good at cooking. She is Amulet Clover. She accidentally calls Tadase "Prince" out loud which causes him to do a Character Change. Amu finds out that Tadase's dream is to rule the world so whenever he gets called "Prince" he becomes his Shugo Chara whose name is Kiseki, for a little while. Amu finds out that Tadase also wished to have the courage to be his would be self, and she feels they are alike.
All of the guardians explain to Amu what Shugo Chara's are. They are your would be selves, the people you wish to be, or what you wish to be. They want her to be the fifth guardian, the Joker. At first she doesn't accept it. Later she is confronted with an X Egg (which is when the owners feel they can't be who they really want to and their hearts eggs turn to their doubts). The X Egg turns into an X Character (it is when the X Egg opens and it is small like a Shugo Chara and it's the persons feelings that are having doubts). She Character Transforms and opens her own heart to return the hearts egg to normal. After this she realizes she wants to help more people and stop all the X Eggs and X Characters. She takes the position of the Joker. She does wonder why she was given the Jokers position, and Kukai explains she is the only one with three Shugo Chara's, so she is the trump card like the Joker.

Every Child has an egg in their heart, unseen at first, an egg with their dream. Hinamori Amu part of a group called the guardians, protect those eggs from becoming x-eggs, making sure everyone can hold on to there dreams. Amu, is the Joker Chair. The different chairs are King's chair, Queen's chair, Ace's Chair, Jack's Chair and the Joker's Chair. Amu's job is to capture and restore x-egg to there original form. She does this with the help of her three shugo chara (guardian characters or her would be selves), Ran, Miki and Su. She is the only guardian that can character change. Which is your typical magical girl transformation. Just like in all magical girl series there is romance too. She may say she loves Tadese (king), but she also likes Ikuto. Too bad that there are on opposite sides. Ikuto works for a company called Easter. Both sides, Gardians and Easter are looking for something called the embryo.
