Starlight...star bright. First star I see tonight. I wish I may,I wish I might, get this wish I wish tonight... She had heard that rhyme so many times before...it repeated in her mind as she stared up into the dark night sky along the shoreline of the city of Paokoli. The ghostling girl sat on the cool sand as she listened to the sound of the waves crash against the shore, music to her ears. She felt the cool night air against her pale pinkish skin and breathed it in,sending chills and shivers down the spine of her back. In the darkness of the night, there was no other light besides the light of the moon, the stars, and the illuminated sparkles that seemed to be created by the ghostling...her silhouette blended into the night, but if you watched her closely, you can make out her light pink hair and the sparkling of her golden lined wings. There was a smile on her face, though the look in her eyes were so sad... she sighed as she shut her eyes and tilted her head down. Thoughts of her life before all this ran through her mind. Her mother, her father, all her friends. She missed them so much. If only she had been kinder to the people of the city, maybe she would not be stuck in this life. Inside Alnara's mind she thought to herself "I wish...I just wish for guidance of some sort..."

Saiph wandered the sandy beaches. He gazed up at the sky and frowned a bit. He used to be gazed at like this at one point. Why had he become like this? He already knew this of course. If only others had liked him then maybe he wouldn't feel this weight of sadness that sat in the pit of his stomach. He sighed and turned to keep walking the beach. He was glad that it was dark for he feared others seeing him. He preferred the thick forests where he could hide and watch others if they happened to be close by him. He stopped in his tracks when he heard a voice asking for guidance. It was coming from behind a large rock. He slowly walked over and peeked over to see a female. Her wings were a beautiful gold. He wondered what she needed help with. He pondered on speaking out, but he was too shy to do so. He feared that she would only run away from him. He hated being rejected. It hurt to much. So he opted to hide and watch others instead of engaging with them.

Alnara fluttered her wings a bit and more sparks of light shot out from them shedding a bit of light in the dark. Alnara suddenly felt as if there were eyes upon her. She could sense the presence of another person. Alnara was a pirate after all,so she had gained these skills on her adventures, knowing all too many times people have tried to sneak attack her. It was too bad she did not have her sword with her,but if the person meant any harm, she could she give quite a hard kick to the jaw... Alnara continued on with what she was doing, pretending she didn't notice. If this person really meant her no harm, they would say something. If they didn't,then they must be trying to harm her.

Saiph staid quiet and just watched her. He was waiting to see what this problem was. maybe...he could help her out. Just as long as it didn't involve him having to show himself. He had the ability to disappear if need be, but he didn't like using it for sneaking around. He used it to mostly run away. That's just what he did. He bit his bottom lip and hid behind the rock once more. What could he do in this situation?

After waiting a bit longer,Alnara realized the person still didn't do anything...she began to get a bit agitated. Maybe she could threaten him out. "I know you are back there! Come out if you mean no harm. If you are trying to harm me,you will regret it though." Alnara stood up from sitting on the sand and wiped it off her dress. She waited a few more minutes to see if anything else would happen.

Saiph gulped and slowly showed himself from behind the rock. He didn't want to get attacked by anyone. He liked to resolve things peacefully. That was if it was possible. He nervously looked down and didn't say a word. He figured that she would only laugh at how much of a coward he was anyway. Then he could just turn around and flee.

Alnara watched the person step out from behind the rock. She squinted her eyes a bit and could make out that he was a ghostling just like her. He seemed to be very shy and looked like he meant no harm. Alnara examined him a bit more before deeming him not a threat. She smiled at him,"Hello..." she said to him, hoping he would walk over and speak to her at least.

Saiph looked up to see the girl smiling a bit at him. "H-hello." he softly replied to her. He wanted to turn around and hide behind the large rock, but he knew that she would only think that he was bad. This was tough situation. Would she hate him? He didn't want to go through that again. Rejection hurt a lot.

Alnara waved at him,"Do you...wanna sit here with me or not?" Alnara sounded a bit demanding...she covered her mouth to indicate she had made a mistake, she could help it...she had always been that way ever since she was a a human. She was a pretty selfish princess after all...'Let me rephrase that...would you like to sit here with me? You don't have to if you don't want..."

Saiph slowly moved moved towards here and took a seat next to her. He was still a bit nervous and yet she had sounded so demanding before. It was hard to not just give into her demands. He feared that she might hurt him or something. "U-um...I heard that you needed some guidance." he softly said to her and avoided her eyes. He was sure that she would get angry at him for listening in on her conversation. He was just bracing for a blow.

Alnara watched the boy sit down next to her and smiled at him. Alnara sighed and looked back into the vast expanse of darkness and the ocean. She heard him ask her about something and turned to him,"Yes...I did. I guess you overheard huh?" Alnara giggled a bit. "It's alright. I don't really mind unless you aren't trying to hurt me or anything." Alnara tilted her head a bit,"Is something the matter...? I won't hurt you,I promise..."
