Mir was in the park again, shadow fighting and working up a good pulse. He was in a pretty good mood; training with Demi was going well. The bobtail kit had now fully recovered and was going at her teaching with a will and an impressive determination that made Mir smile. She enjoyed teaching Demi. The little kit had such an independent spirit. Sparring with thin air, Mir ducked and weaved, moving slowly across the open field and into the surrounding trees. Here she began launching herself from tree trunks and branches, her warriors dance becoming more elaborate with the new terrain.
Pushing off from a tree she whipped out her knife and lunged, extending her arm out, only to swipe it down and away again. The quiet silver blade glinted in the dappled light and she weaved in and out of the trees. The metal of the knife swished though the air, making music all of its own to accompany her deep steady breathing. She was going all out, her legs pumping and her arms flowing endlessly.
Darting around a tree, she threw her knife, embedding it into a tree trunk on the other side of the clearing she had entered. Jogging swiftly over to the other side, she eased it out of the trunk and closed it, its hilts snapping shut around the blade. Taking a deep breath, she centered herself briefly, her breathing calming further. Then she opened her eyes and leg out her breath in a long haaaa… Then she was off again, her dance carrying her through the forest.

Pale broken wings, you're just a little tired
Thrud had been sitting in her tree tucked deep into the middle of the forest when she hear the sounds of someone training. She smirked and pulled on her holders and listened for the direction to head. Nothing better then a surprise partner to make a training into a fight when the other person doesn't know its not ment to be a fight. She was always in the mood for a fight and would gladly help out by throwing her self into it by attacking them. She smiled and leaped into a tree and headed off to the sound of the cat in the trees. As she got closer she smelled female, sweat covered from training...perfect. She smiled and pulled a kunai out of her pocket, one she had 'accidentally' taken from Anbu.
She stopped far away from the strange female, landing on the branch with the grace of a shadow and hidden just as well as one, and played with the little weapon absentmindedly as she watched her. Thrud had the advantage of seeing her before hand and watching her moves before it turned into a fight. Thrud could memorize them and know how to fight against them very quickly. When she saw enough she smiled and quickly moved fast down towards her, throwing the kunai at her side as she pulled both her arm weapons, brandishing her guard knives as she held her smaller ones in her hand, she was armored. She smiled as she leaped off the side of a tree and launched herself at the other female.

Mir saw the flash of metal and moved without thinking. Twisting to the side, she dodged the thrown knife, eyes sweeping as she spun around, looking for the attacker. Coming around, she was met with a knife wielding female, brandishing two knives as well as a blade strapped to each wrist. Deflecting one blade with her balisong knife, she hopped back, eyeing her opponent warily, eyes taking in the other cat and the surrounding trees. One thing she hated about the forest was there were only two levels to fight on; in the trees and on the ground. In the plaza, there were so many levels to move about on, it gave one so many more options.
With a practiced eye, Mir identified several routes of escape, should the fight prove too much and moved low into a ready position, gazing steadily back into her attacker’s eyes. Mir supposed her attacker couldn’t have picked a better, or worse time to stage an ambush. Mir was completely focused from her spar, adrenalin pumping through her system. Breathing steadily, Mir waited for her opponent to move.

Thrud took in everything that was best picked up from a closer range like she was now. She had been able to tell that this female was shorter but she now saw that she was a good 8 inches shorter then Thrud. She smiled though she knew that height didn't mean much of anything if you got in a good hit with something. She smiled and bent a little, getting more at the females level a little so that she could watch her in a better angle. She stepped over her leg moving to the side as she smirked, her studded eyebrow raised as she thought about what to do. This female was good but she could still use a little work.
With a smirk she jumped up onto a branch above her and ran across it till she was behind the female. She lunged at her, her rounded arm blades angled at her back. She knew that she would block it some how. And she was looking forward to the hand to hand combat it would provide them. She liked hand to hand, or knife to knife as this would be. Her face was in a snarl as she came at the female, hoping that she would put up a really good fight.

Mir watched the female move above and around her, snorting once before dropping to her hands and kicking out with both legs at the female’s stomach. Her feet connected with the muscles of the cat’s stomach and Mir kicked out, diving and twisting up to face her opponent again. “Come at me from the front, coward!” Mir spat at her opponent, not quite angry, but her blood was pumping from landing the blow. It would have hardly down much damage other than wind the other cat momentarily, but it felt good. Glaring, she took in her opponent’s stance, judging where she might score a hit with her blade. Then she darted forward, knife flicking out in front of her, seeking an opening.

Thrud smiled as she lowered herself and kicked off her stomach with her feet. She smiled as she spoke, "I knew you would turn. So why does it matter." she said as she readied for her counter attack. She smiled as she lowered her sharp guards down and readied to block the knife out of the way. Why was this female so angered at this. Yeah she had been attacked but why not just enjoy it. She smiled as she rotated the small knives to be held facing down as she met the knife with the side of her arm and sweapt it away. She punched out with her hand not the knife, aiming for her chest to knock the air out of her. She then lowered her self and slid her leg under the strange females to knock her off her feet.

Mir moved with her attacker; she knew that such an unfocused strike would hardly produce a result. As her knife was moved aside, Mir rolled with the attacker’s punch, the blow touching her chest, but not connecting any further. Then her legs were swept out from behind her and Mir fell backwards onto her hands, shifting her weight onto them and carrying her upward momentum to aim a kick at her attacker’s side. Coming down again, she rolled away from her opponent, facing her again in a low crouch. Glancing around her minutely to keep track of her surroundings, Mir spotted a gleam on the forest floor; it was the thrown knife. Mir made a note of it and stood up, switching her knife from her left to her right hand.

Thrud laughed as she bounced back. This girls size was helping her alot more then Thruds size was helping her. With a flick of both her hands she tossed both her knives into the tree trunk at her feet and charged at the female. She didn't care if she got hurt, she wanted to see her skills up close. And her knife guards on her arm would provide a great thing for her to have to look out for. She got up in her and made sure to keep a block on the other females knife as she struck at her face while kneeing at the opposite side of her abdominal area. She kept her arms close to her sides after she would strike at her so that she could easily block any strike by the others knife.

Mir quickly switched her knife back to her left hand as the other charged at her, flipping it around to block against the other cat’s arm guards. When they clashed together, Mir pressed her knife against one of the arm guards, keeping it at bay, and twisted to the side of the punch aimed at her face. Mir felt the knee collide with the side of her gut and knew there wasn’t much she could do about it in the position she was twisted in. Taking the hit soundlessly, Mir struck with her free hand as the cat brought her arms back in, striking her chest with the heel of her hand. Pulling her hand back, Mir flicked her knife around and slashed at her opponents upper torso, and aiming another punch into the cat’s gut. She expected one, or indeed both of her attacks to be blocked and watched the guard in the cat's left arm, tensing to twist her arm around the blade.

Thrud moved back and the knife cut her shirt, showing more of her larger breasts then was already showing. She smiled as she brought up her knee and took the punch to her leg. She then used the possition to kick at her as she rolled her arms across herself, crossing them and slashing at the female with them as she hissed loudly. As her arms slashed she rolled one knife and slashed with that at the females chest, aiming for shirt not to hurt, but of course the female wouldn't be able to tell.

The arm guards slashed an X across Mir’s shirt, tearing lose a button and revealing her bra as she skidded back from the kick. s**t! s**t s**t s**t shitshitshitsit! Mir fumed as she glared at the larger female. Why had this person attacked her? Why did it feel like she was being toyed with? Mir felt a little unsettled; this random person had attacked her out of the blue, they had exchanged hardly a few blows, and already Mir felt her passive judgment slipping. She hadn’t been hurt, other than a few bruises, but her ego and her pride as a fighter were crying for blood. Just for a few solid hits. That’s all she wanted!
Mir hissed, attempting to dispel her fury. Think! She ordered herself. Be rational! Mir exhaled loudly, looking over her opponent again. It was those damn arm guards that were aggravating her the most. Her gaze flicked over the bands that were holding them in place. If she could just get them off, things would be a little bit more even. Mir breathed in slowly, calming herself again. Ok… We have a plan…

Thrud smiled as her blood serged...but not for blood but for this female. As her bra showed through the X on her shirt now she smiled. She could see the anger in this female too. She knew her guards were getting to her, they got to everyone. Even Anbu hated sparing with her cause of them. They were her favorite things in the world and she took better care of them then anything else, except her hair. She stood and looked over her. "Getting upset!?" she asked as she slashed at her again. "Tired? Want to just give up?" she asked as she slashed at her with her other arm.
Thrud was sure that the female might find some way to keep her from using her guards, but she was used to this as Anbu and Yuuki had tried to get them off many times. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. She kept her eyes peeled for a sign that this female would try to do that.

Mir dodges out of the way of the slashes, moving her body from side to side to avoid the blades. She didn’t respond, just kept staring coldly into the face of the other cat. Snorting once, Mir set aside her defensive posture, darting in to the right of the female, feinting in before darting to the right again, moving back in to the clearing. As she sprinted around the female, she spotted the knives her attacked had thrust into the tree. Well, that’s one way to deprive you of a blade. Mir speed towards the tree and yanked out both blades, flipping one around while tossing the other into a low bush. Turning, she faced her opponent, the stolen blade turned down in her left hand while her balisong knife was at the ready in her right. Mir allowed a smirk to cross her face, baring a fang at the female across the clearing.

Thrud smirked as she saw her toss one of her knives away and turned to face her better, her arms low as she faced her, fists tight in a mantis pose as she watched this female. She was getting sexier the angrier she got. She smiled, but it turned into a smirk as she licked her lips softly. Quick as a flash she ran at her, getting as close as she could and aimed a punch at her stomach and another at her face, keeping her guards near the females arms so that she would have to go through them to get to her. She leaned back and with a skilled movement kicked straight up at the females face, aiming to distract her rather then actually kick her in the chin.

Mir edged back, rolling with the stomach punch and pulling back slightly to avoid getting hit in the face. Flicking her balisong around, she stabbed inward, sliding the blades in behind the arm guards. Mir pulled back further to avoid the kick to the chin and moved in as the female pulled back, yanking her knives outward while still locked into the crooks of the arm guards. Once the female’s arms were away from her body, Mir released her knives and threw herself into the female. She grabbed the larger mane coon female by the shoulder and punched her repeatedly in the jaw. Mir pulled back her hand and whacked the female’s chin with the heel of her hand. Pushing off from her opponent, Mir made to move away from inside the other cat’s arms and away from the blades, since she had released her own to get closer.
