Following his meeting with Tzao-Hyung, Mikhail was actually cautiously hopeful upon his next visit to the HQ. Things had gone well! True, their conversation had illuminated certain things that he wasn't exactly comfortable with, revealed that he had some self-searching to do, but nothing had gone wrong. No one had needed saving, and even more importantly, there had been absolutely no nakedness.
He settled himself on the couch with a bit of a wince for his ribs, and waited to see if anyone showed up.

And, indeed, it seemed like someone was coming, if the sounds of a bike zooming down the path to the HQ was any indication. And the sound of the door opening... and the sights of purple orbs trailing their owner. Sei looked rather pensive, and in fact did not seem to notice the angel at all as he walked inside the room.
He had taken it upon himself to see if there was some hints about who knew his father way back then... To get Hoshi situated again, so to speak.

Mikhail perked up at the sound of the door, waiting to see who it was with a certain amount of trepidation. There was never any telling who it might be - someone he liked, such as Seung, or someone like Keir. As it happened, it was someone he'd been wanting to see!
But the teen seemed awfully...distracted. Hoping to get his attention, Mik tried a friendly, "Hey."

That, indeed, seemed to do the trick. "Hey." He answered, deviating from his initial path to walk toward the angel. He looked like he'd healed a bit, at least... He was rather clueless about normal bodies and healing times, to be honest. "Are you feeling better ? And is Seung okay too ? I havn't seen her since... well, you know."

"I was," he answered with a wry grin, "Until I got hurt again. But I'm alright - and Seung's fine, too. I...really can't thank you enough for going with me. We'd've been in serious trouble, otherwise."

Well, apparently he had a knack at getting hurt. And he also looked quite... different. Growth-related, perhaps ? "Not too badly, I hope ? And I couldn't just... ignore it, you know ? I know how these kinds of things go... And well. Just wouldn't have felt right with myself if I ignored it, you know ? He kind of wished someone had came for him back then, too. Well, someone had, or he wouldn't be here... but that wasn't the same thing. Was it ?
And there had been Riven, too.

"I broke a few ribs." Which, in his opinion, was worse than getting cut up, or even stabbed. Not that either was his idea of enjoyable, but he didn't ever want to have to deal with being broken again once this was over with.
"Yeah, I know what you mean," he agreed with an understanding nod. it was what had gotten him hurt again. "How've you been since? You didn't look so good there, at the end."

"Ouch." At least, that sounded rather painful. He had no true clear idea, but he knew what ribs were and figured a few broken ones couldn't be pleasant at all. Even if the whole concept was quite foreign to him.
"Yeah, Im fine. I just had to rest a little. I... don't exactly use my powers or my guns alot, at least not like that. It tired me out more than I expected, I guess." It sounded a little dumb, but it was the truth.

"Ah." He nodded again. "That makes sense." Once more, he wondered what Sei was...or had been, more appropriately. He didn't know the blonde Fa'e very well, though, so he wasn't comfortable asking.
Although Mik had wanted to see Sei again, meet him properly and all, now that he was here, he didn't really know what to say. The art of starting conversations escaped him.

And apparently, the blonde wasn't exactly a master of conversation either, so a rather awkward silence followed. But for once, Mik wasn't the one who had to break it. "I take it that you don't live that far from here ?" At least, he figured moving great distances on broken ribs was not pleasant.

"Fifteen minutes or so, I guess," he answered, grateful that it had been Sei who came up with something to say. It was nice to know, though, that he wasn't necessarily the only socially awkward Fa'e around. "You?"
Once it was out, Mik realized that it was a stupid question. After all, he and Nima had waited for Sei to go home and then come back...not that he'd really been paying attention to time, but still.

"Halfway in between Batron and Durem. Quite a bit away, but it's not bad at all on a bike." He shrugged. If he thought it was a stupid question, he showed none of it at all.
"I've been thinking about moving out for awhile, though, but im not too sure where. There arn't many apartment free at this time of the year, so I might end up having to wait for a bit longer." Sei turned to peek toward the question. "Want something to drink ? Im going to see if the cans of soda I brought along yesterday are still in there." Experience landed toward no. The HQ, it seemed, had gotten a whole lot more busy lately.

"Oh, really? Any reason?" Mik had never actually thought about moving out, and he was older than Sei - should he? Now that it occurred to him, he was pretty sure he didn't want to. The idea of living alone...well, he didn't like it. "Yeah, sure."

"No particular reason, just something I've idly thought about. My guardian and I are pretty close and we get along well, but sometimes I think having some space would be good for both of us... Yet I don't think I would want to live somewhere alone, if that makes any kind of sense ?"
The blonde wandered off to the fridge then, still well within earshot of the angel. Apparently a miracle happened and his stuff was still there. Taking two cans, he made his way back and handed it to Mik. "There's also juice in there, if you'lld prefer that ?"

"Yeah, makes sense," he said, smiling as the blonde more or less echoed his thoughts. "I wouldn't want to live alone, either, so I guess my guardian and I are stuck with each other for now." From the way he said it, he didn't actually mind. For the most part.
"Thanks." He accepted the can, glancing at it to see what it was exactly. "Soda's fine."
