They had a Mosin on display, a 1942 Tula non-counterbored which I wanted to get but I knew from before that they don't sell the display models until they're all out.
Anyway, I wanted to look through most of their Mosins but the limit is two.
The first was an Izzy dated 1943, I have one and it was nothing special.
No SA stamp, wasn't German captured at a point just a regular Izzy.
Second and last out of the box looked plain at first, stock looked like the first, kind of light.
Then I saw the hex receiver and got all giddy.
Took a look at it, another Ex-Dragoon but this one dated 1927, same year as my Nagant Revolver, so I bought it.
While filling out the paper work I mentioned that the Mosin in the display case is another one I'm interested in getting.
He replied, "Oh I could have sold you that one, I don't care. I just take them out of the box and put them in the case."
...
I got nervous, I'm pressing my luck that it will still be there.
As soon as I'm back from visiting my father I'm flooring it back to that Fleet Farm and hope to God everyone is still buying tacticool non-Slavshit and hope it's still there.
Christ, $100 for a non-counterbored Tula?
That's a good deal with all things considered.
Without further adieu; Pictars.
...
anyone else having issues with upload speed on Photobucket?
Got it.

I thought that was a stock repair but apparently they spliced the piece on to use a single blank or some such thing.
