My friend's private lesson teacher used to be in marching band when she was in high school. And she claims that she played the double reed when she was in the marching band. She never told my friend what instrument was it. It's not an Oboe, English Horn, or the Bassoon, she said. What do you think the mysterious double reed instrument is?
-I think it's a Bagpipe for some weird reason...lol-

Marching with a double-reed instrument would be terrifying. D=
Is the bagpipe a double reed? I never knew that... xd Well, a school at this competition we go to every year marches bagpipes. We think that's why the judges like them more than us. >_>

O_o Bagpipes a double reed? Thats so cool. Well one time i got really bored and marched aroun the bandhall with my bassoon using a neck strap so its not like its impossible.

It has to be a bagpipe, because marching any other double reed is far too dangerous.

I believe bagpipe is a double reed instrument.
