Appearance: Aloe stands at about 5’ 1” and has an average build. She’s not exceptionally fit, but not unhealthy either. Her hair is pure white and is long enough to go halfway down her neck at its lowest point, with her fringe cut just above her eyebrows. She wears the standard student uniform with no changes made and keeps it clean as often as possible. Her eyes are light blue.

Accessories: Aloe wears a small emerald necklace on a thin metal chain and always keeps it hidden under her clothes, simply because she likes to keep it close.

Personality: Aloe is a quiet individual most of the time. To most people she would seem like a bookworm that likes to study a lot, and she does like to study when she can. To people that get to know her though, she is a friendly person that likes to help when she can and always keeps promises. She has a strong sense of justice and makes a habit of trying to help or protect people, and she is not above using violence to do so. In fact, her main reason for studying like she does is to learn how to help people.
She also has a hard to control phobia of insects, specifically the flying kind. She doesn't know why, but they really scare her.

Bio/History: Aloe was born in England to an English mother and a Japanese father. From a young age she found a calling in helping people, her first experience being to help a boy fend off a bully by just simply standing up to them. As she grew she kept up the habit of helping others. Occasionally she came across ghosts and helped them if she could. Only once did she realise that she was helping a ghost though, and that was the last one she would ever help.

When Aloe was nineteen, she met a person that always stood on the pavement next to a busy road on the way home from college. The girl always looked sad and Aloe kindly stayed a while to talk to the girl every day when she went to and from college. One day though, the girl asked her to stay a little longer. Aloe didn’t see any reason not to and stayed with the girl until all the college students had passed by for the day. They talked like they normally did, until the girl revealed herself as a ghost, a hollow to be precise. It showed Aloe its true form and went to grab her. But right at the last moment, a shinigami appeared to save her. The hollow fought back and hit Aloe during the melee, knocking her into moving traffic before she’d even realised.

After the hollow was killed, the shinigami regretfully told Aloe she was dead. Aloe seemed more concerned for the hollow though, and asked what had happened to it. The shinigami explained what they did to the hollow and about their job in the world. After that, the shinigami sent Aloe to the spirit world. Once there, she was spurred on to join the shinigami academy by the example of the one that tried to save her and also saved the hollow, wishing to do the same.
