Ok, so the neck on my guitar is kinda small, and I've been wondering how much it'd be to get an extension on it. I aslso need a new nut. The strings dug into the cheap plastic. stressed evil

I'd probably invest in a new neck all together. 3nodding But that is just me. You can find some cool ones on e-bay or I bet someone else could tell you where to get them.
You could always make your own. 3nodding If you have the tools. domokun
Anyway, is it a thro-neck?

Your pretty much screwed unless you want to surgically remove the set neck and build another one to your liking (yes its possible to remove a set neck with LOTS of tedious work, and no, you can't buy a new set neck [there is one maker who'l make you a custom set neck, however its very expensive and you'd have to rerout your neck pocket to fit it])

Neck extension? I don't really know why you'd want that; did you want more frets? Smaller necks really aren't a problem.
For a set neck, I'd consider any modifications to its size/shape out of the question. (Because of how difficult/annoying it'd be.) That's why I like bolt on necks better, but then again, I'm not much of one to modify my guitar at all really.

I'm not sure what you meant by "extension" either, so i gave a solution that would fix any problems you had with your current neck. If you DID have a bolt on though, with either a strat style or tele style neck pocket, you could get a Warmoth conversion neck (to change scale length)

unless your a builder who can build their own neck, probably. You'd spend about 200 bucks on the neck from soulmateguitars.com and then have to put in the labor to modify your neck pocket to fit, and fix any alignment issues that come with getting a new neck.
