The afternoon sun flickered as passersby disrupted the rays streaming through the window, but Rea didn't bother to look up from where she stood by a shelf, although this was hardly because she was engrossed in the book lying neatly in her palms. In fact, her eyes weren't even moving, not even to skim the page in front of her. Classes were long over for the day, the Crystal girls free to do as they wished with their free time. It had been hours since the girls had left the classrooms, going their own separate ways to have fun and enjoy themselves privately, or in little, chittery groups, laughing and gossiping to their hearts content.
Rea, however, was certainly not enjoying herself, standing in the semi-abandoned library, a pile of books stacked on a table a few paces away. Nor was she doing something she would ever choose to, regardless of the sophisticated, intellectual feel to the school she attended. Instead, the redhead was in a decidedly foul mood, resisting the order to pour over the nonfiction section of the library, a dark look plastered semi-permanently on her face.
Needless to say she was not a happy camper. While the rest of the girls went shopping or painted or hung out, she was stuck in what felt like a permanent hell. It wasn't that books were such a terrible, horrible thing -- the oldest Marshall girl in fact quite enjoyed them, sometimes, when the right reading material presented itself. But being forced to do something had never sat well with Rea, especially from someone she didn't respect, although it was considered sheer blasphemy to think that about a teacher.
Letting out a soft, frustrated breath, the girl let her eyes drift to a notebook not too far away, narrowing her eyes at the blank sheet. At this rate, she would never start, much less finish.

Now...Marlo was used to his brother's antics. He was used to getting roped into absurd plots of how to score a girl. He was almost expecting it the second they stopped at the Crystal Academy gates. What he didn't expect were the rabid, blind, utter contempt the girls so openly displayed at them. Simply due to their school! It was quite obvious that the two weren't getting anywhere and would have more of a chance in the lottery then with one of these girls. But, his brother was a bit more blind to such matters of bigotry. Elzo, the oaf, had confidently strutted his way ONTO the campus, verbaly dragging Marlo along. 'Oh hey, Bro, Look at her. Wait here, I'll see if she's even open..eh? eh?' God...If he heard those same lines one more time... "EEEEEEEEKKKKKK! PERVERT!" A very high pitched feminine scream immediately made Marlo's adrenaline pump. It was like watching a slow motion film. Elzo was running toward him, motioning him to run as well. Behind him, a large, older, rather ugly woman was chasing him, along with some rather vicious looking girls. Turning away from them, Marlo ran as fast as he could, thankful for the fact he had done marathons during the summer. The two bothers kept a good pace ahead of the...dogs, but they didn't seem the type to tire anytime soon. As they turned a corner, Marlo noticed an open window. Skidding to a stop and Grbbing Elzo by the collar, the older brother didn't need to be told on what to do the second he saw the window. Marlo managed to jump in first, Elzo quickly behind him. And in an almost cartoonish fashion, the girls and matron ran right by the open window. And the brothers looked up to find themselves face to face with another Crystal student. "We just want to get out, we swear." "PLEASE DON'T SCREAM."

Rea gave them a completely unamused look, not even needing to notice the tell-tale green plaid to raise her hackles -- the presence of anyone at the moment would have set her off. The fact that they were boys didn't help the matter in the least, and the fact that they were Hillworth boys, well, that was just the icing on the cake. "I wasn't going to, although now that you said not to, it's extremely tempting," she hissed, glancing around the library. It was characteristically void of human life, the rows upon rows of shelves creating a quiet labyrinth -- even if there was someone still in the library, it wasn't likely they'd see them. In this case was a blessing for the two; had they been caught, they probably would have been taken straight to the principal. Of which school, Rea wasn't sure, but what she was sure of was it would not have been pretty.
Not that things were going that well right now. If they were caught now, and she were caught talking to them... all hell might break loose.
Turning her attention back towards the two Hillworth boys, she gritted her teeth, placing the book slowly down on the table (because if she didn't do it slowly, she was going to throw it at them, she was sure.)
"Are you two out of your minds?! Or did you lose them somewhere between BIRTH and now?"

"I'm pretty sure we lost them the second that tall chick called me a pervert for offering a hand shake! Not to mention the ******** FATSO AND RABID BITCHES BEHIND HER CHASING US." Elzo was red in the face. He was pissed. Mainly at himself, so, his manly pride took it out on what was in front of him. Which happened to be the one person who might save their sorry asses. And Marlo knew it. "Shut up brother, unless you'd like ME to toss you out the window!" Marlo raised his voice, a rare occurrence that caused Elzo to stop his rage, shocked by the sudden change in his usually calm sibling. "Listen Miss. We came to hit on girls. That we will admit, but we didn't aim for this to happen. Like he said, he offered a girl a greeting and she flipped. We were told some Crystal girls were nuts, but not so nuts as to mistake a handshake to a pass." He paused, forgetting she was also a Crystal student. "Not that you're crazy. From the looks of it, I'd say we rather...interrupted you while you were studding. And for that I REALLY do apologize. It sucks and-" "We're sorry just please, don't rat us out. You have no idea about Killingworth. He'd flay us alive." Elzo seemed to have suddenly grasped the full gravity of the situation he had landed them in. They got caught..They would not be able to leave their dorms. Ever. Again. "If they come in and you want a cover or something, tell them we started hitting on you or something. We don't want to get you in trouble at least." Marlo knew it could be just as bad for her as them. Killingworth had a rep, but so did the cruelty and mockery of the Crystal girls. "s**t." "Double s**t." "Obviously."

"Bitches huh?" Rea quirked an eyebrow at them, wondering what the one was thinking. She had since cooled a little, although now at the other end of the spectrum her eyes were like ice on them, unsympathetic to their cause. The admittance that they were there to flirt, however, seemed to lighten the dark look, and she made a mildly annoyed face. "Well at least you were honest," She mumbled, mainly to herself, lifting an eyebrow again at the 'not that you're crazy' line, "And Crystal girls are crazy. If you didn't know that, you do now. As for the studying... don't think a thing of it. It's not like I was having fun with it."
She had relaxed quite a bit, not nearly as hostile as she had been a few moments ago, her shoulders relaxing as she started to accept that she wasn't going to need to hit them over the head with her book. She did not, however, want to give them the false idea that she was friendly. "I'm not going to rat you out," she replied, giving them a mildly annoyed look again. At the moment, she didn't know what she was going to do. Help them? It seemed like an absurd idea.
Drumming her fingers along her arm, the Marshall girl looked them up and down and gave them a skeptical, slightly disbelieving look.
"Who are you guys, anyway?"

"I try Miss. I try. Lying to you would just be another strike against us...not that we don't have any all ready." Marlo was about to pass out. he may be quick on his toes, but, today, his entire game was off. As to what kind of game, he was quite unsure. Elzo...all he knew was that they were knee deep in trouble. This chick seemed like she wouldn't rat them out...for a price. "Listen miss. We'll do whatever you want, just please, for the love of all that is pure and manly, tell how to get out of here!" Marlo gave his brother a look between bored, amused, and 'I can't believe you are so slow.'
"My idiots brother's ramblings aside, I'm Marlo, Marlo Xanis, and he's Elzo." He naturally offered a hand to shake, but drew it back remembering the reaction Elzo's simple gesture had received. "Um...by the way who are you?" Elzo paused long enough, to notice in all his begging, they hadn't gotten her name. In the worst case scenario, he could use it to get revenge...at least.
Suddenly, the boy could hear the shrill yells of the girls from before. And they were getting close. Very close. Both boy jumped to hug the wall, almost laying on the floor as to not be seen. "Hey you! did you see two Hillwarts run by here? One of them tried to grab Stella's a**!" Marlo and Elzo's faces paled and they look up at the girl, silently pleading.

"Rea. Marshall." The redhead responded, sliding a strand of hair behind her ear, tugging a little at her earring. So. She she knew what they were doing there, and she knew who they were. That was always a start. Tilting her head a bit, she eyed them suspiciously, trying to hide the amazement. Crystal was no walk in the park -- with all this money, it was prided as being a safe school. And yet these idiots (... or perhaps masterminds?) managed to get in? And theyd didn't seem to act like it was that difficult. That was... kind of impressive.
"How did you g--"
She was about to ask them how the hell they managed to escape a hoard of screaming girls when suddenly the sound of running footsteps began to fill the Library. Immediately Rea spun around, trusting completely that Marlo and Elzo would get themselves hidden. Judging by the question, they had managed it. Lucky bastards. "You think Hillworth boys would come into a library?" She scoffed a little, giving them an incredulous 'you really think they're smart enough for that?' look.
She wasn't exactly lying... or saying much of anything, but hopefully they would assume that meant she hadn't seen them. She didn't want to outright lie -- that would look terrible on her student record, should they be caught. But there was something about those horrified looks that appealed to whatever sympathy she had, deep down under that cold exterior. Or perhaps she just wanted to know more about these two weirdo Hillworth boys. Maybe she could learn something from them.

"Ugh! Damn losers. Yell if you see them!" Giving Rea a quick glare, (more towards the 'I'm better then you' look), the girl ran off with her peers, and no doubt, still searching for the brothers. Who were now quite indebted to Miss Rea Marshall. "Oh thank you. God. I though we were dead meat." Elzo leaned back to the wall, hand over his heart. It might have looked like an act, but he was really not holding up well. Put bluntly, he was pumped full of adrenaline. And well...fear. Lots of fear. "And for the record, I DID NOT try to grab her a**. Besides, her a** is flat, I like mine nice and round, not non-existent." Rolling his eyes, Marlo felt internally similar, but, not quite as extreme. Sure, he had a bit of a rush going, but he sure as all hell wasn't freaking out. He had regained some of his composure, but not all of it. Not to mention, this girl was a bit...diffrent then her peers, but, from her attitude, not by far. "Thanks." In truth, he didn't really know what else to say. Groveling like his brother well...it wasn't his style. "Sorry we got you involved. But...do you have any idea how we could escape unseen?" Elzo nodded his head vigorously in agreement. An escape plan would be nice. It also seemed like Marlo was trying to cover up his brother's...blunt remarks.

Not even bothering to lift a hand to wave, Rea watched the girls run back out of the library, in hopes to find the devious boys who had somehow managed to get into Crystal.
Which reminded her...
Turning back to the two, she raised her eyebrows, giving them an unamused look as they breathed their sigh of relief. She would be lying if she said they didn't interest her -- it wasn't every day that a Crystal girl met a boy at all, much less two, and from Hillworth at that. It was scandalous, and most parents would faint at the thought. Rea, however, had never been under the impression that it mattered, and had always scoffed at the prissy girls who looked down on them. If she was truthful with herself, she secretly found them to be intriguing. Mysterious, even. So although she feigned disinterest, that wasn't exactly the truth.
"I believe you," she responded easily, shrugging her shoulder a little, "Most Crystal girls don't think too kindly of Hillworth boys. It probably gave her quite a shock to see a pair just waltz onto our campus." At this she allowed herself to grin a little, the thought amusing. At the 'round a**' comment, however, her eyebrows were once again lifted, her expression mildly scolding.
"Oh you're not leaving yet," she replied, arms folded lightly across your chest. "Not until you show me how you got in here. Crystal is suppose to be impregnable, but you seem to have gotten in without any trouble. At least, not until Sir Flirts-a-lot decided to get fresh." Grinning again, she quirked an eyebrow at them questioningly. "An eye for an eye?"

Elzo grinned at her nick name for him, even going so far as to adding a wink. Sr Flirts-a-lot was pretty darn accurate. He almost felt a bit proud of himself. Almost. "Well to be honest, we didn't really sneak in. We kinda just you know, walked in. Through the gates." Marlo nodded in agreement. "We 'waltzed in' like you said. Nobody was keen on stopping us. But I suspect that next time we'll have to 'break in'." Marlo made the classic 'finger quotations' as he said breaking in. Basically, Crystal's security was a joke. Anybody could come and go as they pleased. Unlike Hillworth were if you even tried, you'd be skinned alive.
"It's not that hard to get in and out of Crystal. I mean, around the east side are some pretty high trees right next to some dumpsters. Climb the dumpster, grab a tree branch and well...You're in." Elzo seemed to be surprised by his brother's assessment. "Wait, you mean we could have gotten in around back? Dude! That's always a better idea!" he hit Marlo's arm, making him flinch. "Why do you ask? Looking for a way to have some late night escapades?" Elzo smirked and gave Rea another eyebrow wiggle. Marlo just rolled his eyes and gave Rea a small look of pity.

Rea was effectively stunned. "You just... walked through the gates?" She asked incredulously, mouth hanging open a bit. They just walked right in? How could they have just walked into Crystal?! She had always thought Crystal to be at least fairly difficult to break into, and yet these two just walked right through the gates?
Something strange was happening to Destiny City.
Folding her arms across her chest, the redheaded Marshall girl eyed the two boys warily, unable to keep the curiosity from her eyes. Hm. She'd have to watch that wall more closely... and perhaps see how effective it was for an escape. It was getting harder and harder to sneak off at night -- there had been a lot of unusual activity lately, as well as some close encounters. It seemed that there had been an unusual influx of Negaverse in Destiny city, and the students of Destiny City were becoming more and more interested with the activity of the Senshi. It wasn't as easy as it had been, even at Crystal. Crystal girls claimed to not care about something so 'trivial,' of course. Then again, Rea had always thought Crystal girls were stuck up and only worried about connections and self-images. Another assumption effectively thrown out the window because of all this sudden activity. "And what if I am?" She replied indifferently to Elzo, giving him a skeptical look, "It certainly wouldn't be to go see you."
Matching wits with a flirtatious Hillworth boy who was clearly full of himself. Not exactly what she had had in mind for the evening, but it certainly was amusing.
"Well, lets go," She replied after a few moments, heading towards the emergency exit and tossing a look over her shoulder, "Or don't you want to get out of this raging hell of screaming, disillusioned girls?"

Her words were like the answer to Marlo's prayers, (not that he had been praying mind you). She was going to help them get out! And not to soon. Sure, the hunters might not be actively searching, but, they sure as all hell wouldn't let their guard down. The second they saw Marlo or Elzo, game over. And in this game, there is no reset option. Or a checkpoint from which one my respawn.
"I like you. You aren't like those other rich bitches." Elzo smiled as he moved to follow her. Marlo just couldn't believe his brother. Didn't he realize that they were still in enemy territory? One slip up could cost them EVERYTHING. Elzo on the other hand, saw nothing wrong with his words, and even went so far as to well...He was getting a little close. Not touching, but, just closer then a person might normally stand next to. Like...awkward close. "Rea. You might want to uh..." God. This is just what had gotten Elzo, (well, them really), into this whole mess. No touching, be very very close range. "Damn it Elzo." Marlo hissed under his breath. Elzo just smiled.

The close proximity left Rea alert, but unworried, although she did glance over at Marlo and raise her eyebrows. How considerate. Mental note -- Marlo was the level-headed one. Elzo was the flirt. Got it. They were kind of endearing, in a way. Certainly different than what she had come in contact with before. She kind of liked them... perhaps she'd try to break into Hillworth sometime to see them. Shake them up a bit.
"I'm sure you say that to every girl you meet," she replied to the flirtatious boy, holding open the door to the emergency exit. Glancing over at Marlo, she offered him a slightly amused smile. "I can take care of myself, don't you worry," She replied easily, reaching over as they passed to grab her lacrosse stick from where it was resting against the wall. It wasn't a threat, per se -- she didn't really have much of a problem with Elzo's flirting, perhaps because it wasn't often that she was flirted with, or perhaps because, being a senshi, she didn't perceive the Hillworth boy to be much of a threat. It didn't occur to her that they could be from the Negaverse, although had she thought about it, she might have given it some serious thought, considering how they had gotten in here.
Glancing around briefly, she motioned her head towards another building not that far away, a bunch of shrubbery pressed up against the side of the wall. They'd go the way they hadn't gone to come in -- towards the forest.

When she picked up her lacross stick, Elzo backed off, quickly. Hey, he didn't know if she was going to try and lay a beat down! Some girls did that. At least the ones he had flirted with in the past. When Rea opened the emergency exit, Elzo was grinning ear to ear. She really was going to help them! Hot damn! He liked her even more then he did 5 seconds ago! Marlo also liked her a bit more. Looks like she was tolerant of Elzo. Always a plus.
"Only to the ones that are positively beautiful, such as yourself Rea." Elzo peeked his head out of the door and nodded to Marlo. The coast was clear. Giving Elzo a thumbs up, Marlo didn't waste any time bolting towards the bushes. Elzo quickly followed. It didn't seem they'd be waiting up for Rea.
