The female watched the butterfly, pouncing after it with lily white front paws. She smiled, pouncing here and there, always jumping just a little too short.
She still hadn't outgrown her puppy ways, but she wouldn't ever hurt the butterfly.. She wanted merely to chase it. Catching it never came through her mind.

When she grew tired of her game, she smiled, waving it off with a paw and then made her way to the little creek near home. She was thirsty, and she felt safe in her homelands.. Her soon to be packlands if all went well.

She smiled at the thought. Her packlands. She had never been so excited for anything before..

Terabithia was a delicate mix of her mother and father, looking both gorgeous yet carried her earth tones in the brightness of her blue pelt.
Tera also had been taking an interest in romance, though her romance had nothing to do with the males of her species. She didn't care for males, she preferred the softness of the female touch.

Only time would tell her what that meant, but for now, she was happy daydreaming about her future.. About her family's future.

Disneyana dug with fervor, she was so pleased with how the wall was coming along, her roses had been selected carefully for the longest and sharpest thorns. The blooms were full and beautiful, the scent strong and fragrant, and the thorns a deadly protection. Yes, once the wall was finished the dens would be surrounded in a shroud of safety but for two carefully tended entrances. The rich scent would cover that of the pack that would dwell within, and should that fail the thorns would discourage any break attempts. And of course now the rows were lovely and perfect, with time they would grow thicker and wildly combine to make a stronger defense.

The tired blue female took a break from her digging and headed to the creek to have a drink and wash the blood from her muzzle and nose. The work was a delightful chore, and despite her years of experience in handling the beautiful flowers even she often suffered for them. Her tag wagged as she spotted her daughter and she moved a bit faster. "Hello love!"

Tera lowered her muzzle to drink at the waters. It quenched her thirst, and made her wag her tail. It was such a nice feeling, getting to drink water once you want it terribly.

She heard someone approaching, and lifted her head quickly, though the scent that carried from the direction the sound came from smelled familiar and like home.
She was no longer afraid.

She wagged her tail, and bounded towards her mother, her white paws dancing across the earth as she neared.

"Momma!"
She loved her mother, and she was terribly excited to see her.. Even if she saw her quite alot, and was never far from sight.

Disneyana smiled and sat to pull her daughter close with a paw and nuzzle her, just like when she had been a pup. The passing of time didn't matter to the blue female, her children would forever be her babies in her heart. She would have done anything for her three children and her mate, if Fantasia had asked for the stars Disneyana would have done her best to pull them from the sky. Instead Tera and Fanta had asked her for a pack, and since they were pups she had Allah had worked with dedication to create the most enchanted home, packlands for her children.

He licked Tera's muzzle tenderly and slowly stood to stretch with a slight wince. She shook off then and moved to drink from the creek and wash the blood away from her nose and muzzle before her daughter could worry. "What have you been up to my little love?" She smiled as she lifted her head from the cool creek.

She snuggled into her mothers soft fur and inhaled the deep scent that was so familiar. She sighed, happy to have the family that she did. It was a sigh of relief that she emitted.

Her tail wagged against the earth, creating a soft thumping noise. She was so excited about the future. She had told mother and father about the pack idea her and Fanta had dreamed up, and they had been nothing but supportive.

She looked at her mother, giving her a good lookover.
"Momma, you're bleeding."
She worried, looking at her mothers tender paws. Disney was taking the defense of their homes very seriously. Working diligently and never stopping for a break until she could no longer go any further.

"I'll be alright...and it's worth it, it's for our safety Tera." She smiled brightly despite the small gashes on her nose and muzzle, and a small cut over her left eye, her fur covered the tiny scratches though. "Just think how someone who tries to force their way past the roses will feel..." She dipped her muzzle into the creek again to drink and let the cool water sooth the mild sting.

"I was thinking we might try and plant a few special types in between...there are wild thorns and all types of plants that cause painful blisters and rashes...I wouldn't want anyone harmed in excess though, but if they aren't willing to come to us to seek entry as normal then perhaps they wouldn't have very good intentions towards us anyway." She sat down and looked at her daughter for her opinion.

It was simply a fact that the she wolf had too much heart to let her pains stand in the way of her children's desires. Her paws ached from digging, but the complaints never came, instead she shifted slightly from paw to paw and at night she curls up on her side to keep the pressure off the pads. Her muzzle was stinging from the numerous tiny cuts from her planting, and itched where the tiny cuts healed day after day. Still she refused to complain, after all her children and her mate were working equally as hard for the pack and complaining was never her way. Her only desire was to see everyone safe, and her only complaints came when her family ventured too close to the forest.

Tera completely agreed with her mother. The safety of their lands was one of the most important things right now. They needed to be able to defend themselves, or else they really weren't a pack at all.
Just fish in a barrel, ready to be plucked.

She looked over her mother, and though she knew it was for the best, the compassion in her made her heart ache. She hated seeing others hurt, but seeing her mother hurt made her even more upset.

She pushed the thought away, trying to focus on what her mother had said.

"Oh! No one would ever want to fight their way through that. What is worth so much pain? Certainly not attacking a peaceful pack who means no harm."

She smiled, wagging her tail, getting hopeful at the idea of their lands.

Disneyana moved to lay down infront of her daughter, she was content to rest her paws for a while and spend some time with her sweet Tera. "I'm so proud of you and Fantasia, giving others a place to call home and feel safe...its a beautiful gesture and a great responsibility." She smiled softly and gazed at her daughter adoringly.

"Have you seen the dens? I think your father is working harder on them then I am on the roses." A soft laugh escaped her, both of them were quite dedicated to giving their children the very best start possible, to pave the way for them. This was their happily ever after, their children's joy and success.
