It was dark. Reefa slowly opened her eyes. She had no idea where she was, but it was unusually cold and very salty tasting. She wondered if she was anywhere near home. Wait. Salt meant bad to her. Reefa began to panic. She flailed her legs and tail, gasping for air. Then she realized something. "I'm in water... oh," she said to herself. She swam up to the surface and poked her head out a little. She then gaped, wide-eyed at the completely different scenery then what she had imagined. She wasn't home. Not at all.
"Ohmaigosh, w-w-where am I?!?" She yelled, shocked but happy for some reason. She saw an island very very close by so she began to swim towards the beach. "H-hello? Helloooooooooooooo........", echoed the Wooper. Then something, or someone, caught the eyes attention on the beach.

"Hey there!!!!"Missy yelled, "Come this way...hurry!!! You never know what could be in the water. Land is the safest place even for a water pokemon... hurry!" Missy grabbed the longest stick she could find. "Here try to grab this... uggh."

Reefa desperately swam towards that said stick and bit it. For one second, she thought was all alone. The other pokemon pulled her onto the beach. Reefa looked up at the Eevee. "W-Where am I? And who are you????" she said to her.

"Hi, I'm Missy, actually i came to this island about a week ago." Missy says sadly. "this place is very creep. i don't even know how i got here. i was teleported or something. Oh, and this is Cinnabar Island. Others are telling me that it is scary here. everyone is in hiding. no one is brave enough to come out except me. i help Pokemon like you who come to this bizarre island."

"Woah, well thank you," Reefa said, bowing her head for a little bit. She then looked shocked. "So I'm not in the Johto region anymore? Woah!" She looked around for a bit. "I'm Reefa, nice to meet you." She smiled.

"Wow ur from Johoto? I'm all the way from Shinno." she said. Missy handed Reefa an oran berry smiling, "here eat this it makes u feel so much better." For some reason Missy knew Reefa was going to be a good friend.

Reefa smiled at the friendly Eevee. "Thank you, I love these," she said, eating it happily. "So, uhh, what do we do now? Are there any pokemon that already live here? Maybe we can ask for help.."

" I'll take u to my place. Its not much but, its good enough for 2 small Pokemon like us," she said sighing. " there are pokemon here but they r all scared to come out except for food." Missy paused, then said,"it wont help much even if we do ask for help." She gave a silent pause again, and in a slightly sacred voice she whispered in Reefa's ear, "there is a scary ghost Pokemon here... no one knows what it is...thats y i said the water was dangerous the ghost Pokemon lives there...we never know when it comes out...i have yet to see it my self..."

"A ghost type...? Like a Gengar or something, living in the water?" Reefa said, surprised. "That's very strange..." Wooper looked out into the water.

"yeah i know but pokemon say he/she is the reason all these pokemon end up at this island," Missy said as she walked to her place with Reefa, "but they say pokemon are coming here less and less. which is a good thing. No pokemon showed up after i came a week ago. Now u came so i guess pokemon are still coming here against their own will...hopefully it stops maybe this pokemon has decided to stop bringing pokemon here..." Missy sighed... "i wish it would stop i want to go back home" Missy thought to her self.

"Well, I think.. that we should find a pokemon to stop it from bringing everyone here..." Reefa said, crossing her imaginary arms. The sun started to go down, the sky was an exotic lavender and orange with pink clouds. "Hey, I think we should get something to eat or something...." Reefa said, still hungry after the Oran Berry.

" Yeah we do but who's brave enough to go on such a dangerous adventure...any way lets not talk about this right now you still need food and a good long rest. you must be exhausted by your long trip." She said walking in too her small hallow oak tree home. it was a small circular room with a leaf bed to the right and a pile of assorted berries to the left and in the center was large hole that Missy dug to put water in. It was full at the moment next to l the little hole was a bucket for carrying watter and berries.

Reefa walked in after Missy, she looked around. "OoOoOoOoOoOoOh, nice home. It reminds me a lot of my friend's.......", she said, remembering one of her friends she hung out with in Johto, a Teddiursa she knew for a year now. She instantly remembered everyone she used to know. Her friends, her two sisters... She walked to the center and looked up at the seemingly tall ceiling, wondering how hollow the tree really is. After she looked down, she spotted the berries, her mouth grew extra wide and started drooling a little at all the berries, all those yummy flavors.

" Here help yourself to those berries over there." said Missy pointing to the pile of berries. "I know you must be starving." Missy saw Reefa's expression when Reefa entered the room. She knew that expression cause she had felt the same way the first time she came here. She wanted to say something but didn't think she should.

Reefa looked back at Missy, and saw that she was biting her lip. She was gonna ask her something, but decided against that.
So she hopped over to the berries and sorted them out and started eating. "Mmmmmm thank you.." She said, eating the berries with sour or spicy flavors. She left the others because she didn't like sweet tasting things and also so that Missy still had something to eat. "Wow, this is good! Mmmmphmmm, really good! Where did you find these berries?" Reefa asked, savoring the ripe berry juices.
