I wrote this song because I had to go back to school and I hate school. So here it is. It's not very long because It's just the rough version. I need to put repeats and maybe a couple more lies in it but here it goes.
Back to School, Back to school,
With the teachers and the fools,
Back to homework and solving problems,
And don't forget the dumb rule system,
Don't speak out of turn,
It is not your concern,
Don't speak inappropriately,
Just don't say anything,
Lug your books through the halls,
Make sure you don't fall,
Don't chew your gum,
Instead figure out the sum,
Back to school,
Back to teachers,
Back to fools,
Back to Lesson Preachers,
Don't wanna go back,
But it's a law and a fact,
Don't bring your phones,
Don't set off your ringtones,
Don't disrespect your elders,
Just sit down and do your paper,

I'm sorry, this really sucked. Really really sucked. It sounds exactly like every song that any 12-year-old could have written on this subject.
And am I the only on that imagined this as rap?

I imagined it as a song from your typical My Chemical Romance clone band, due to the excessive pissing and moaning.
Much to your chagrin though, school is useful. I kinda regret slacking off in my high school years since it's made it a b***h for me to get into a decent college and now I'm stuck with a crappy day job until I have enough money to go back and finish my music major...them's the breaks though.

AesopGrimm21 No offense, but I don't know any drummers other than my friend Chelsea (who's not even a drummer by trade) who can write a song. You're slowly increasing the amoutn of results needed to prove a theory. Tap. Don't. Write. I have like 15 more songs that are way better than this. But I posted this one because I just made it for the occasion.

This kind of back and forth has been around almost as long as the black-white racial divide. Well done. Also, school isn't for everybody. Some people (such as myself) don't find it constructive to learn in that environment. My sister and I are proof enough that you can excel without ever doing more than the bare minimum attendance. Anyway, I can only really say this in retrospect.

Anyway, I can only really say this in retrospect. No I'm a multi-instrumentalist and a singer. I can play a small amount of clarinet, guitar, drums, piano, harmonica, and bass. I honestly don't care about school in the least. I make as little appearance as I can, and make as little effort as I can to maintain an A+ average. Which tends to be very little effort with this little kiddy s**t they feed me. smile
