
Cloud Dance fluttered along the edge of the river. She was looking eager and happy, and her tail was flagged high. She often looked so, and this was just one of many times when her infectious joy was visible. She was enjoying the deepening twilight as she went. She'd flown off from home the day before, telling her father she was off on an adventure. He'd cooled down some, as long as she told him were she was going, he tended to accept it.
