Rai entered the classroom calmly he looked as his class. Rai then took role call and began to speak. "First of all Transfiguration is one of the most advanced Magic taught here at Hogwarts. SO let me be the first to tell you, any monkey business and your out in a heart beat." Rai said as he transformed his desk to a jaguar and back. "Anyway this magic is strong and powerful in the right hands, As I do not know your current history in Transfiguration we will start with a simple Summoning Charm. Normally that would be in charms except for the fact In this class you will be required to use it, but before we do I want you to read the pages for Summoning charm, and turn in the Homework. It will be due on Sept 8th" Rai said:

The uses and the Summoning Charm, Famous times it has been used. The home work is 5 pages long. (250+ words). The First one to finish it correctly, and even makes me shudder when I read will be given 50 extra house points. This assignment is worth 20pts anyway. Any questions ask here. Turn in homework here.

Zoey sighed. More homework, yea... she thought and started doing summoning charms easily. She had done this last year for extra credit. She then started to try it without speaking. This proved more of a challenge and she got into it.

The Summoning Charm, also known as 'Accio', is a spell that will make an object at a certain distance travel to the caster. Though, the caster must know where the object is located, or the summoned item will not be 'accioed' to the caster. The farther away the item is, the harder and longer it will take for it to show up. For instance, if I were to try and 'Accio' an apple from England, I would have to know what tree it is from. Then I would have to say 'Accio England Apple' or 'Accio Apple'. Picturing where the item is in my head, is the most important thing to do, or you will not get the item you asked for.
Knowing the wand movement and correct pronunciation is another big part of learning his spell. If pronouncing the spell incorrectly, it may backfire which has many known and unknown effects. It is best to practice summoning a feather in a small room, having it be a foot away. If it come at you fast and directly straight, you have done it correct. If it wavers and goes slow; or even crashes. You need to practice.
