Mac vs PC, because it's the most hotly debated.

I'm not fond of Macs. Yes, they have better video editing software and better digital music workstations, but a lot of the time they aren't very user friendly. And I hate how you have to go File>Quit to completely close down an application instead of just clicking the Close button.

Macs are SO much more user friendly than PCs. That's one of the best things about them! And you don't have to go to file. You can just press command q and the program will close. Personally, I like that you don't have to quit them just to close a window. That way I don't constantly have to keep opening the same programs.

Eh, I personally have had way more user-friendliness issues with Macs. Mainly the fact that when you try to do something (and try to do it right) it doesn't work. Yes, PCs crash more, but they're pretty good about recovering quickly. And as a hardware nerd I love the fact that you can actually get different parts for PCs.

The reason you have problems is because you're so used to using PCs. They're different. But in the end, it is much easier for a PC user to learn how to use a mac than it is for a mac user to learn to use a PC because macs are more user friendly in general.

Yeah I generally like my laptops to be MAC since I use those for school. However since I am a light-weight gamers I need my desktop to be PC. It gets confusing however yes MAC are indeed the better brand when it comes to user-friendly AND customer service. (Not that they need much service. My hard drive gave out after 5 years recently and it was fixed in less than 48hrs)

PC on the other hand. Dear Lord! You are on the phone for hours and after-wards you always want to jump off the roof cause it usually something very simple and could have been explained in like five minutes had you knew how to explained it right. Or if you could understand what the dude was talking about. rolleyes

I am more fond of the Mario and Sonic rivalry. Wait before you say their just characters well yes you are right however they are products. As Mario IS Nintendo (and probably the bigger name of the two since everyone knows Super Mario even if they have never touch a joystick or a controller) While Sonic was Sega now he's just an old used out whore that has yet had a decent game. (However we can debate that later)

My second favorite rivalry to watch are Microsoft 360 owners VS Sony PS3 owners. I think if it were legally they would have death match over their systems.

Also yeah I do kind of enjoy watching the PC VS Mac debates but they get annoying after a bit....

So yeah add those to your poll! scream

Exactly! The only major problem I've ever had with a mac was when my hard drive gave out while it was under warranty. My dad couldn't get any of the data off of it! I was worried that I had lost EVERYTHING on my computer. Then we sent it into mac and some wonderful guy worked very hard and got about 90% of my data off! And they fixed my hard drive. All within about 3 days! It was wonderful.

Most of the poll ones are food. =)

I don't really play video games, so I don't know much about their rivalry. redface

The mac PC debates can get really annoying. Especially since all my friends are hard core gamers and hate macs. scream I've just gotten to the point when one is started I say, "You won't change my mind and I won't change yours, so let's drop it." That usually does the trick.

That's why you don't call customer service. Take it to a local repair shop, they're a lot easier to find for PCs than Macs.
