History:
_____________________________________________________________
The Kyorl'solenurn was formed by gathering all the different small clans and groups of drowussu and unifying them into one great clan, six hundred years after the exile from the surface began.
_____________________________________________________________
Philosophy:
_____________________________________________________________
The Kyorl'solenurn believe in purity. Mainly, the purity of the drow race. They disapprove of halfbreeds, but do not kill them on sight. Tainting is something the clan looks down upon with extreme predjudice. They will kill any tainted person they can get their hands on. People who associate with tainted, and people who are not opposed to the idea of tainting, are called corrupted, and the Kyorl'solenurn seek to purify them, by putting them through a process they call the "cleansing", which closely resembles brainwashing. The clan also disapproves of the Jaal'darya creations, and will destroy them on sight.

The clan holds a strong belief in Sharess, dedicating their lives to cleansing the world of the tainted - people who are going against what Sharess worked for - and closing any and all gates to the abyss.

Orders:Kyorl'solenurn
_____________________________________________________________
Various orders exist within the Kyorl'solenurn, and all believe they are the one true faith, although they range from moderate to extremist in their views and tolerance towards others
_____________________________________________________________
Existing orders:

Order of the Twin Eyes

Order of the Holy Eye:
_____________________________________________________________
Clan Fortress:
_____________________________________________________________
Due to the Drowussu's poor infared vision, they prefer well-lit areas. Their home is no exception, with its close proximity to Ssussunul. It is almost like day in the Kyorl'solenurn fortress.

Their fortress built like a temple, where its members go to pray to Sharess for guidance. The Kyorl'solenurn's fanatical pursuit for purity has created a formidable reputation amongst the other clans. Tainted drow rarely leave their walls alive.

Clan Traditions:
_____________________________________________________________
Special Features
_____________________________________________________________
The Kyorl'solenurn clan is composed mainly of Drowussu.
The Drowussu are extremely religious. They strongly believe Sharess had sacrificed herself to close all the gates to the demonic realm. They also believe it is their sacred duty to keep those gates closed.
The Drowussu religion centres on a Warden/Templar/Blade relationship. The Warden (usually a female) is metaphorically the eyes that judge. Templars and Blades (usually male) are the hands which carry out the judgement.
The Kyorl'solenurn have excellent training against demonic possession. Their highly trained templars are very knowledgable when battling otherworld invaders.
The Kyorl'solenurn will kill a tainted on sight, with no exceptions. They quest for purity in the race.
The Drowussu remain very segregated from the Drowolath. They even have their own specialized section of the Orthorbbae.
The Kyorl'solenurn have a reputation for being quite orderly.
_____________________________________________________________
Clan Colors
_____________________________________________________________
Drowussu see the world in black and white- and those are their general clan colours.
_____________________________________________________________
Clan Animal:
_____________________________________________________________
The Kyorl'solenurn unicorn has evolved after spending long generations underground. The unicorn itself can be described as a cross between a mountain goat and horse. Their hooves have changed to become more suited to the rocky terrain, and they are capable of easily jumping. As its name implies, the unicorn has a horn in the centre of its forehead. They are ridden by Holy Lances, in times of war.

Description
_____________________________________________________________
Judicators are ancient drowussu who became the guides and judges of the Kyorl'solenurn clan, and all of them are of the first or second generation. They are there to help the Templars and Wardens with thier decisions and take care of the paperworks of the clan. They were once Wardens and Templars themselves, who fought many battles and became revered over time for their wisdom, experiences and knowledge. Together, they form a council with Shimi'lande as governor and rule the clan, the town surrounding it and the school. As their bodies are covered from head to toe by decorated layers of robes and a veil, it is usually hard to tel the gender of a Judicator before he or she speaks. To meet a Judicator is said to be a great honor among the drowussu.

As the judicators serve as leaders behind the scene, tehy do not participate in any battle. To carry weapons and armor would be pointless for them. If a fight is unavoidable, though, they have a wide range of mana powers at their disposal. Considering they do not have to fight with a weapon, this allows them to focus on dispelling hostile mana surrounding them and, by doing so, protect the troops surrounding them from harm as well. They are also able to resist tainted mana for a much longer period of time than the Wardens and Templars.
_____________________________________________________________
Roleplay Recommendations:
_____________________________________________________________
The high priests/priestesses, so to speak. Politicians, confidants, leaders and guides, just like Shimi'lande they do not fight and will try to avoid it. However, if something defiles the purity of the race, they will not hesitate to order their troops to attack. In order to protect them, a Judicator never goes unescorted outside of the fortress walls. Each Judicator is very different in terms of history and personality, and many among them have traveled a long time on the Overworld. Some were alive during the Moons Age.

_____________________________________________________________
Background:
_____________________________________________________________
Description
_____________________________________________________________
The representatives of the Kyorl'solenurn clan; where the Templars are the blades, the Wardens are the hands that wield them. The judges of what is evil and in need of cleansing. The Wardens' mission, like the Templars, is the protect the purity of the race and to slay what they perceive as evil. Merciless in battle, they do not hesitate to kill what goes against their religion. They can ignore insults, rocks thrown at them and being spit at in the face, but they will not tolerate the sight of tainting.

They are completely devoted to their task and are taught to repress their emotions. some of them take this too far and become nearly emotionless, obsessed with their tasks and appearances. To make a Warden smile while they are on duty is a harder task than to defeat them. Each Warden is raised with a Templar as a companion, to strengthen their bond and make them work well as a team. A Warden may have more than one Templar, especially those of high rank. Each can also possess her own philosophy, which attracts Templars and Crusaders sharing the same views.

A Warden will carry whatever weapon and armor they see fit, but for religious purposes most of them favor a blade. As for armor, they favor a mix of metal armor and robes. The armor itself has little defensive purpose, but it can be useful for other means. They will usually wear several layers of decorated robes which might hide reinforced silk or chain mail protection. The outfite will always carry several gemstones, meant to seal demons and tainted mana, to expel them later through a Netherworld Gate. It is quite ironic that they have to learn how to open the gates they seek to destroy. Wardens are also very ogod at viewing auras and mana.
_____________________________________________________________
Roleplay Recommendations:
_____________________________________________________________
Where the Templars are the Paladin, the Wardens are the priestesses, so to speak. They are best to roleplay with a Templar to unlock their full potential. Since they are noble girls, educated very strictly, they should be treated like they hd a stuck up their butt all their life. A Warden is someone who can become stressed easily and have difficulty getting off-duty.

Religion, appearance honor, duty and similar concepts can be many of their obsessions. When the pressure becomes too much, the Warden will report to a superior. This usually means praying for the Goddess' guidance or confessing to a Judicator. Also, a Warden's personality can vary a lot compared to other Wardens. One can be very aggressive and outright uncaring of any non-drowussu, while another could be very shy and nice.

_____________________________________________________________
Background:
_____________________________________________________________
Description
_____________________________________________________________
Inquisitors are mostly composed of women, but there are some exceptions. They are both revered and feared for their special skill, Empathy, which can only be gain through lineage. Once a child is born with sign of Empathy, she is sent to the Kyorl'solenurn school and is placed in a special class where she is raised in order to exploit her full potential. Unlke the drowolath in the same position, these drowussu children are well-supported. This permits them to grow up as adults who have control over their empathy, not the opposite. Yet, some extreme cases appear from time to time, driving the Inquisitor close to insanity. Due to their full potential being unlocked, these Inquisitors can detect everthing from a long range, allowing them to track down anybody with a specific aura. They are able to detect if someone is telling the truth or lying, as well as perform the infamous cleansing ritual for the Drowussu who have walked off the holy path. The latter is why they are feared as well as revered; those who have to hide something wil not feel at east next to an Inquisitor. On duty, their head is usually covered by a helmet or cloth which hides their eyes so they can use their power optimally.

Inquisitors are the ace of the Kyorl'solenurn clan and thus is not usually used in direct battle; rather, as support for the troops. Their task is healing, although only serious cases are given any attention, leading the troops to a heretic or converting those whose mind was corrupted by the tainted. Healing is very taxing for the Inquisitors and tracking can also result in negative feedback for them. Inquisitors might not wear any armor, but rare are those who could get close enough to harm them.
_____________________________________________________________
Roleplay Recommendations:
_____________________________________________________________
Like the Wardens, the Inquisitors are very uptight and will have a lot of difficulty to get off-duty. Because they have to deal with heretics and corrupted people so often, they sometimes have a very pessimistic and bitter veiw of the world. Their faith is stil strong, however, and most of them will not hesitate to denounce sinners among the drowussu and drowolath, alike.

The exception is a few cases who are close to insanity due to lack of control over their power. Those would most likely be more disconnected from the real world than those who have good control. While the unstable ones would detect treacheries, lies and enemies, they might not tell the others about it unless they are asked.

_____________________________________________________________
Background:
_____________________________________________________________
Description
_____________________________________________________________
Holy Lances are very equivalent to the Templars but with a few exceptions. Both genders are allowed, and similar to the Crusader, they are mostly used during wartime. Once the Holy Lances emerge from the fortress, it means a holy war has begun. The Holy Lances have little real battle experience, but a lot of training, which makes them formidable battle foes.

During wartime, small squads of them can be used to patrol the city streets. In times of peace, each Holy Lance takes care of their own unicorn and will never change to another one unless it dies. To creat a bond, they will use the same armor as the Templars, with one difference; the helmets of the Holy Lances have a horn instead of an eye, to symbolize and honor their mounts.

Holy Lances favor long weapons, such as lances, halbers or glaives, which they often enhance with mana during battle for extra damage. The Holy Lances are not the kind to stop in battles unles they want to dissuade attackers by their presence. They will favor a charging tactic by charging through, not stopping and focusing all their energies and mana on the few seconds of the clash. This is repeated until the enemies are weakened enough to be trampled by the unicorns.

Special note about the clan mount: These are not traditional unicorns. After a hundred generations underground they have evolved and adapted. Their feet have changed to be more suitable for rocks and the body shape changed slightly to permit them to jump more easily. You could see them as a cross between a mountain goat and a horse. As unicorn implies, they have a single piercing horn on their forehead. They can jump from rock to rock and climb rocky surfaces very well, and their eyes see well in the dark. During wartime, they wear armor for added protection.

Roleplay Recommendations
_____________________________________________________________
Holy Lances are usually from the members of the clan who don't feel the fanatacism of their Templar/Inquisitor/Warden kin. Kept aside during times of peace, they help the clan in the background, taking care of their mount and training. It is, therefore, much more likely that these troops would be more open-minded about the world. Roleplayers should put special care upon the mount and rider bond. It is very probably that the unicorn has received a name and the rider has learned to understand the mount.

_____________________________________________________________
Background:
_____________________________________________________________
Description
_____________________________________________________________
During time
s of peace, the Templars represent the main force of the Kyorl'solenurn; they are the pillars that keep everything together. Taken early in age by the clan, they are trained in a special school with religion as its focus. They are taught mana mastery and battle skills as well as regular lessons, preparing them to someday fight for the Goddess and the clan as a Warden's blade.

Templars are considered noble warriors. They will serve their Warden and protect her until they die, or their Warden dies. Having been raised with their Warden since childhood, they are used to each other and work very well as a team. On duty, within the city, they usually wear a blindfold, which is not meant to hinder them but to actually show their trust in the Goddess and the Warden. It also has a symbolic meaning; the mortal's eyes cannot see evil, but the eye of the Goddess sees all.

They rely on their instincts, mana vision and a weak form of infrared vision to do their duty. Of course, if the need requires it, they will remove the blindfold. Going blindfolded has one practical advantage, though; it permits them to focus on their mana vision, which allows them to see people who are tainted and where tainted mana is. It does not matter if a Ver'Drowendar attempts to hide or change his eye-color, a Templar is bound to detect him.

Practical where their equipment is concerned, Templars usually wear efficient full plate armor with nearly no decoration along with a simple blade. Their true strength in fighting Netherworld beings and Nether Summoners lies in their sealing power, though. They are able to repel tainted mana for quite a long time and thus they have the time to slay their enemies before a demon could latch upon their aura.
_____________________________________________________________
Roleplay Recommendations
_____________________________________________________________

You could consider Templars the equivalent of a traditional Paladin. They are noble, righteous, kind and will obey without fail. They do have a darker side, however; raised with a strong hate for everything defiling the purity of their race, they will kill without hesitation any tainted, or anything else which appears to be defiling (such as a crossbreed, or a sentient Jaal'darya creation). A Templat is best roleplayed in combination with a Warden character, to unlock their full capacity.

Description
During the holy wars, the Kyorl'solenurn call for the help of their people. The call to arms is always heard as the citizens are united in their faith; cook, blacksmith, guard, maid, and so on. Some of them have fought in the past or received private training in fighting, but nothing like a Templar would have. Their skills vary but true veterans or those with advanced battle skills such as tactical and strategic analysis are rare. While they may not be the best warriors, they are courageous and form the bulk of the Kyorl'solenurn army.

The Crusaders are given a uniform and light armor as they join. If they don't bring their own weapon, they are give one as well. Their mana skill is usually poor as well, and the limitation of personnel and short notice during holy wars doesn't give them a chance to get any proper training.
_____________________________________________________________
Roleplay Recommendations:
_____________________________________________________________
Any drowussu of age can become a Crusader, as it is no different than enrolling in an army. Each of them has their own past and job, and might not realize everything going on between the clans. One thing is certain, though; each of them has a strong faith in the Goddess and the Kyorl'solenurn clan. As they are people coming to help their kind, they are generally altruistic and helpful to others. Due to lack of discipline, they might disobey orders, sometimes. Ever wanted to be a warrior-cook fighting with oversized spoon? Here is your chance! ...just kidding.
