This is a thread not to say whether this religion is stupid but to talk/argue about aspects that are weird. This isn't a thread where you try to convert people either. Be polite and don't let it get to you since it's just a thread. If it gets too complicated or something, one of the mods or I will delete this.

Im not religious what so ever. I believe all religions have some pretty unfactual beliefs to them. I think everyone has a right to believe in whatever they believe in. I also dont really get why some religions have.. almost rules to them. Wouldnt people be happier if they could live their life with ease and not worry about that their god will think?

I have a problem with people who try to convert other people. I just mind my own buisness and respect other peoples beliefs.

xXkacy-killaXx I have a problem with people who try to convert other people. I just mind my own buisness and respect other peoples beliefs. Same. Like for instance, I am bi and I hear people always say stuff like "You are turning your back on God. God doesnt want you to do that. You will burn in hell" I just dont get why everyone says God loves everyone no matter what race or what mistakes they make yet I will burn in hell just for liking chicks too?

to me there are two types of catholics/christains there are the stuck up ones then who try to change people and convert them and set rules on them and then there are the ones like me and I'm a rare breed of them I still believe In God I'm just not an extremist I'm hoping I don't change when I get older and become like the stuck up ones

Thats sort of what my mom says. She is like you, religious wise. She says that there are the Catholics/Christians who talk and preach about their religion and try to convert people and then there are the Catholics/Christians who do good things in the name of God and appreciate God and his creations

In my youth group we go on mission trips and we preach about God but I don't have a problem preaching about him if the people are willing to listen I mean it's their choice

If homosexuals and bisexuals are God's creations, why would he send them to hell? That doesn't make sense since he's loving right?

wait that sounded weird what I meant to say was we have to preach and if the people who we're preaching to agree with us then it's fine then but if they don't agree I won't argue and I'll still respect them I mean I can preach but I won't try to convert people

I don't like hearing the preaching and I don't forgive God putting me in a world like this. My beliefs say that a divine power exists but the way that religions preach to it is wrong here.

mishyx93 If homosexuals and bisexuals are God's creations, why would he send them to hell? That doesn't make sense since he's loving right? I agree! Thats why I think religions are very unfactual.I think at one point Christianity and other religions could have been real but since its been ages and no real documents have been found, that religions have been changed alot and mixed in with alot of theories and lies that have yet to be proven. A lot of stuff they say in the bible just seem way to impossible. Like how did Moses split the Red Sea. I know it says God helped him with it but still...

I think that if there were some sort of God or Higher Power that there wouldnt be so much suffering and pain in the world.

I believe that pain and suffering is something that we cause others. Another possibility is that God doesn't care about us or even know that we exist.

yeah :/ it's kind of stressful that's the word right? sometimes I really don't know what to say. The only mission trip I've been on was to this soup kitchen and I had to treat the homeless and stuff didn't really preach

Yes. I believe that all pain and suffering is caused by humans but if some god out there loved us all enough, wouldnt he take it away?
