ZOMG! yesh, on the open hole flute ((with the extra key at the foot joint)).
So, just connect the foot joint and the head joint together. Exclude the body joint. XDDDD So the flutes like piccolo-sized. then just use embouchure and the keys to make songs. what songs can you make?
So far:
Ode to Joy Mary had a Little Lamb
XDDD indeed I was bored.

woot! we've got a bunch of openhole flutes. Our band director has OCD or something about upgrading instruments. XDDDD
But I'm the only one who plays without plugs. And I'm the only one of my band capable of playing a piccolo. But I'm the lone bassoonist.

for those of you who don't know what a whistle pop is, it's candy with a whistle in it that has a slide like a trombone...anyway, at band camp(don't you ever get tired of hearing that? rolleyes )on solo night we played ode to joy on whistle pops. sure, it sounded terrible, but it was fun.

OMG!!!I love Ode To Joy!!!And I don't know why! I've loved it ever since I played it the first time on the recorder in third grade, and on the thumb piano, flute, and every other instrument I have!(Friend made me play part B when we played it for a contest though-and we could've both played A because the other two players wanted B or C. And now she's dropping out of band. crying )
