Locked deep within HQ a room with no doors, windows, lights, or carpet sits. How one gets into this room in unknown. But one thing is for sure, a desk and a stack of papers sit, waiting for one who is capable to grade them.
Outside the door rests a drop box for these missions, which were graded in accordance to when they were received. *Cuts the red ribbon of the Requested Grading Room* "I declare this OPEN! So no more posting missions in HQ." Ginji smiled as he sat at the desk, drooling and waiting for a mission to be posted. As always, post the following information: NEW**Mission LevelThe Mission Brief (Includes Title, Objectives, Pokemon Available, Rewards, ect.) Mission Body Quote: Here's a quick summary of who can grade missions and hand out rankups: Tier 1: Can grade any mission and rank people up as high as Tier 2, Aqua Executive. Tier 2: Can grade any mission Level 4 or lower, and rank people up to Tier 4, Aqua Scout. Tier 3: Can grade any mission Level 3 or lower, and rank people up to Tier 5, Aqua Peon.

Mission level: 1
MISSION- Flame on! Go catch a fire pokemon!
Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon
Money: 600
_____________________________________________________________
Nero yawned as he went looking for a late night mission. As he scoured the mission board, everything was starting to show up fruit-less. As he was about to give up, he noticed a mission posted, “Catch a fire-type Pokemon, huh? Sounds easy enough.” He said as he ripped the paper off the board and headed to pack his stuff. Grabbing his pack and his pokeballs he ran out the door, grabbing his bike from the rack outside as he passed by, he jumped on and got on his way. He headed towards Route 214.
He stopped a few times along the way just to check out some restaurants that he hadn’t had time to check before. The food was great at all 10 of them. But the night was coming on and he had to get moving. As he headed through the quiet streets of Veilstone, right near Route 14, a chorus of howls echoed through the empty streets. It wasn’t a howl of comfort, like you would normally hear. It was more of one of distress. This couldn’t be good. He recognized the howls as ones belonging to Houndour, and a louder one which sounded like a Houndoom, probably the pack leader. The howl’s worried Nero. If he was right and they were of distress, then he had to help, but if he was wrong and he got to close…well…let’s just hope he wasn’t wrong.
Nero locked his bike up on a bike rack just inside the city and he headed out onto route 214. He headed for the cliffs just inside the route and began climbing. He came into a few run-ins with some loose rocks, but quickly grasped onto another one. He made it to the top, finally, only to find himself face to face with the Houndoom and a pack of about ten Houndour. As he stood up, the Houndoom and Houndour growled at him. So he stayed bent over as he slowly back up around a corner. He had to get one of the Houndour by itself. That meant separating it from the rest of the group. Nero took out Mr. C’s pokeball and released the Corphish inside. He ran around the corner with Mr. C and yelled his order, “Use Bubblebeam.” He yelled while still running. His plan was to scare them off with sudden running, yelling, and a water-type attack. It worked. The pack got confused and frightened and ran.
Unfortunately, all of the pack ran, and they were organized enough to all run together, whether confused or not. Nero cursed to himself, then noticed something he didn’t while he was bent and walking away from the pack. The was a huge pile of rocks and boulders, probably from a recent land-slide, and whimpering was coming from inside. He then realized why the pack was so distressed and defensive. One of their pack mates was stuck inside. But since he scared them off they won’t be back for awhile. But by that time it might be too late for the Houndour.
After thinking it over for a few minutes, Nero came up with a decision. He let out Ariel as well and gave the order, “Mr. C, use Crabhammer on those rocks. Ariel, use Reversal and Force Palm.” He said as he pick up some rocks and began removing them himself. Ariel started pounding at the rocks while throwing reversals at them, while Mr. C fired-up 2 Crabhammers, one on each claw, and started smashing rocks as well. Eventually, the Houndour broke through, in a not to happy mood. It growled at them and went barreling at Ariel, the closest target. Nero quickly returned her and gave Mr. C the command to attack.
Order: Mr. C, Houndour Mr. C. went at Houndour with a Crabhammer attack that he already had ready for some rocks, and just switched targets to the confused and enraged Houndour. It connected with it’s right side and almost sent it tumbling over the cliff. But the Houndour gathered it together and sent a Flamethrower attack at Mr. C. It hit him dead on, but only causing a few minor burns.
Order: Houndour, Mr.C Houndour wasn’t finished yet. As it finished the Flamethrower, it didn’t stop running. It continued on with a Fire Fang attack. Biting down on Mr. C’s claw, right as he used Harden. It still did damage, but not as much. Mr. C then used Crabhammer while the Houndour was still biting on the other claw. Hitting it on the head a few time, the Houndour let go and staggered back alittle.
Order: Houndour, Mr. C
Houndour was getting weary it backed up alittle and used Flamethrower again. Mr. C dodged it and used Bubblebeam, knocking it away from the edge of the cliff, so it couldn’t tryto make a get-away. It stumbled again, getting near the end of it’s strength. Nero took out a color ball and threw it. The Houndour disappeared into the ball in a red light, wiggle…wiggle…wiggle…ding! The ball stopped wiggling. Nero walked over, picked it up and kissed it as he put it away. He then patted Mr. C on the head and began trying to figure out how he was going to get down from this cliff.

Admiral Nero Mission level: 1 MISSION- Flame on! Go catch a fire pokemon! Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon Money: 600 _____________________________________________________________ Why post the attack order if you're not going to follow it? Your battle's true order was "Mr. C, Hound, Mr. C, Hound, Mr. C, Hound, Mr. C" so it's okay, but the order you posted threw everything off. Other than that it was a good story that has evaded my grading eye for awhile. I was kinda hoping one our less experienced graders would take it. -sigh- Ah well. Good job! Take the Houndour and the 600 PD.

MISSION LEVEL 1- Night Raid on Devon Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Devon Corp's Nintendo Store and steal 50 DS units. But you must not be seen by anyone. Beware there are 10 guards in the building. You must enter the building. Then make your way to level 3 were the DSs are. But get them quickly and return back. All the units are in one box.
Pokemon you may run into on the mission (you may only run into one): Zigzagoon Voltorb DUSKULL
Funds upon completion: 1000
_____________________________________________________________
After a long boat ride, Dante finally arrived in the Hoenn Region. Aside from the slight sea-sickness at first, it had been a very relaxing ride. He stepped off the boat and began to recall why he had come here.
*Insert Flash-Back ripples here*
Back at the Aqua base Dante was looking though the missions that were avilaible. One in perticular caught his eye, it required the theft of 50 DS units, but took him to the Hoenn Region. Dante was very excited at the sight of this, he remembered people in Pallet Town talking of a phantom pokemon who scared un-suspecting travelers and instantly knew he wanted to find it. After registering for the mission, Dante backed his pack and headed off to find this phantom, and of coarse, complete his mission.
*Insert Un-Flash-Back ripples here*
He looked around for some sign to see where he was, and there it was, in big bold stone lettering the name of the mysterious place, "Slateport City".
Not knowing the region he set out for information, the only information he had was that Devon Corp was located in Rustboro City. He headed to the beach to relax his mind for a little while.
*Sigh* "I should have reserched this a little better sweatdrop ..." said Dante discouragedly.
After dozing off on a near-by beach chair, he was awoken by a thunderous sound. He looked over to see what had caused the disturbance and noticed a motor boat had pulled up to the once vaccent dock. After a few moments an old man steped off the boat, and Dante figured he would be a good start at retrieving some information, so he stood up and walked to his boat.
"Excuse me sweatdrop ... I was wondering if you could help me out... I'm from Pallet Town and have no clue where anything is..." said Dante approching the old man.
"Why of coarse my lad, always a pleasure to help a traveler in need." replied the old man.
Dante had explained his need to get to Rustboro City to the old man, and he simpley laughed.
"My house is on a route just off the forest that leads to Rustboro, I need to pick-up some materials here, but you are more then welcome to ride with me back."
"Really? Thank you!" said Dante joyfully.
As Dante waited at the beach, he began to remember the whole reason he was here, to catch the phantom pokemon. He continued to think how he would do this, and where he would find this pokemon. As he pondered on these thoughs, the old man returned.
"I'm sorry, but I have one last question... have you ever heard of a phantom pokemon living in the Hoenn Region?" asked Dante.
"Absolutley, but there are several, you'd have to be more specific."
"From what people in Pallet Town described, the pokemon tends to... well... pop out and scare people..."
The old man laughed, "The Petalburg Phantom is to whom I think you are refering... many travelers have described a big white skull-like figure appearing from the trees, but nobody has ever been able to prove it... it's all hog-wash if you ask me... only people trying to get attention... well anyways shall we be off?"
Dante nodded, and they boarded the boat. After another thunderous roar, the motor started, they deported, and were off to their destination.
Several hours had past and it had become dark. They finally arrived at a little house along the beach and pulled into the little dock that was attached to it.
"I'm heading back to Slateport tomorrow, if you need a ride back, you're welcome to come."
Dante expressed thanks to the old man and headed north to Rustboro.
Dante entered Petalburg Woods. The moonlight through the trees only made the dark path more eeire then it already was. A little dirt path swirved in and out through the thick maze of trees, and little bug pokemon scurried in the brush. This made Dante remember what he had come here for, to find the "Petalburg Phantom" so it was called, and he began down the path. Though he was a fairly brave person, the idea of a phantom startled him a bit.
"What am I afraid of? I'm from Pallet town! This thing can't be any more scary then Prof. Oak after a night of no sleep." Dante said aloud to himself.
Laughing at the joke he had made, he suddenly froze. He felt something breathing down his neck. He turned, and there was a large white-faced figure with glowing red eyes right behind him. He let out a scream, and out of instinct, grabbed a pokeball.
A Battle broke out between Dante Yashi and the Wild Duskull
Dante chose Envy the Piplup.
"Envy, let's start out simple, use Pound."
Envy uses Pound on the Duskull... Envy flys right through the Duskull. The Duskull taking advantage of the moment used Astonish, Envy was shocked by the attack.
"Whoo! Ok, that didn't work at all, no more messing around end it! Drill Peck then Hydro Pump!
Envy charged at the Duskull and used Drill Peck. The Duskull, now seeming to be in a large amount of pain, used Disable to prevent Envy from using Drill Peck again.
The ground began to shake, and Envy used Hydro Pump and the Duskull flew high into the air on a column of water and came crashing down to the ground soaked. The Duskull layed there.
"Nows my chance!"
Dante threw a Pokeball at the Duskull. 1 Pokeball was consumed.
The Pokeball moved once... Twice... Three times, and then stopped.
Dante Yashi captured the Duskull. The battle ended.
" "Hog-wash" huh? I'll have to show this guy to that old man!"
Dante continued through the forest, and finally made it to the other side, Rustboro City.
It was still dark when Dantè arrived, so he thought it would be a great chance to look at this Devon Corp. building to see how he was going to sneak into it.
The Devon Corp building was the largest building in the city, and it looked very hard to break into, even at the entrance there was 2 security guards. He managed to look all around the building, on the west side of the building lay a giant power generator, to the east was the kitchen entrance, and to the north was the main entrance.
Dante still pondered how he would get into the building un-noticed... then he had a plan.
He hurried over to the east side of the building.
Once there, he calmly walked to the kitchen door and glanced inside. One kitchen aid was visable, but she gathered some things, then left the room.
Dante took this chance and entered the building.
He wondered the kitchen for a moment and found what he was looking for, the service elevator. By it was a list of floors. "Floor 1: Kitchen, Floor 2: General Offices, Floor 3: Research and Development, Floor 4: Employee Lounge." So Dante climbed into the little elevator and pressed the third button.
Upon arriving on the floor, there were no scientists currently working in the room, but a group of what looked like 5 guards conversing in the corner. Dante quitety climbed out of the elevator, and onto the floor, using the many work tables to sneak about the room.
Dante slowly raised his head to peer on top of the work tables. All the tables were clear except for one, it had a box on it, so Dante decided to investigate.
He snuck past several tables in the room, being as silent as a ghost, or in his case, a phantom; this thought made him laugh a little inside.
After reaching the table with the box on it, Dante slowly reached for it, when out of no where the guards started to laugh very loudly, this startled him a bit and he hid under the table for a moment until he was certain they did not notice him, then he reached up and grabbed the box. He opened it, and too his amazement there they were, the 50 DS units.
Dante hurried back to the service elevator, placed the box into it, then jumped in himself. He closed the door, and pressed the first button.
Upon arriving in the kitchen he looked out the little window in the elevator... there were 3 guards looking around the kitchen and then Dante's heart stopped... he forgot to close the kitchen door!
Staring at the guards, hoping none of them would be smart enough to look in the elevator, he noticed that they all started running around the kitchen, yelling and screaming. Then after a few moments of the chaos, it had ended, the guards had in their hands a small Ratatta, the sight of the purple rat made Dante uncomfortable... but then he noticed they placed it outside, shut the door, and left the kitchen.
As soon as they left, he opened the elevator door, and rushed towards the kitchen door, opened it, and this time, closed it. He ran off to a close field and realized he had done it.
He decided he should be getting back to the old man's house since dawn was starting to approach. So he set back off towards Petalburg Woods.
He had arrived at the old man's house, and the sun ahd just started to come up. He noticed the old man was loading some things into his ship, so Dante walked towards him.
"Ah, you're back! Just in time too, I'm just about to leave, you have any luck with that phantom?" asked the old man. "Yes actually." Dante called out the Duskull. "This is the phantom... so is it still "Hog-wash?"" laughed Dante.
The old man stood there stunned. "So the phantom was a Duskull the whole time... and let alone a girl one..." Dante now looked shocked, "It's a girl?!" The old man laughed, "Yes it is, you can tell by the eyelash."
After helping the old man finish loading his stuff, they set back off for Slateport, and Dante from there, headed back to Aqua HQ to file his report and to bring the goods.
((Sorry it's a bit long XD and my comp was reformatted recently, so I don't have Word on it yet... so I promise there will be some mis-spellings on it, so please forgive me ^^;, thank you for reading all of that!))

Mission: No Hug For You! <> All the Chansey's and Blissey's at the Mauville City Pokémon Center have disappeared. As you know, their eggs are very good at helping people in a bad mood cheer up. This has caused general grumpiness thoughout the City, and even Wattson is lashing out. There have been reports of Team Chaos Peons being in the area. You will have to fight 2-3 of them to find where they took the Pokemon. Also you will have to fight a trainer from Wattson's Gym who needs a hug. When you return the Chansey's and Blissey's, Nurse Joy will give you a heart stone.
Pokémon: Chansey (Not one of the Pokémon Center's) Zubat Eevee
Rewards: 1000-1500 and a Heart Stone ___________________________________________________________ Memo and Fresa arrived in Mauville City in the blink of an eye with a Teleport from Etina. This time around the boy only brought 4 of his pokemon. Fresa, Etina, Soulja, and Peep were the ones that were accompanying him today. Jolie, Baxter, Zilla, and Ariell stayed at HQ to help their trainer get a head start cleaning his room hehe. The boy walked over to the pokemon center trying to ignore all the rude people on the way over there.
“Man, I don’t know how long I can take these people.”
Memo was always a nice person and this city was doing a great job on dragging out his mean side.” Fresa jumped off Memo's head as soon as they entered the pokecenter, she plopped herself on a couch groomed herself. Memo walked over to Nurse Joy and asked questions pertaining to the misson.
“How many Chanseys did you have? When did you last see them? Did you see where the Chaos creeps went?”
Nurse Joy answered all the questions nicely, but she couldn’t hide the fact that she was worried. The boy managed to get one good piece of information though. Nurse Joy had seen some suspicious characters go behind the heavily forested area last night and the day before.
“Alright, thank you Nurse Joy.”
Memo and Fresa had just walked outside when they saw Wattson by his gym. They thought they’d give a quick hello, but as they were walking over a Guitarist named Kirk got in their way and lashed out how it was their fault. The Guitarist and Memo were just about to go at it when Memo saw a suspicious man creep into the woods and Memo managed to grab his cool and contain the oh so pwnage side of him.
The boy ran over behind the man and kept a safe distance away. Memo was actually a very stealthy person. Soon after Memo had started to follow the man he met up with a woman. Memo was sure of it now, they were the Team Chaos operatives dispatched to cause panic and disorder here. He scanned the area quickly, looking for the Chansey and Blissey. He scanned the area for only 2 seconds before he spotted the pokemon. They were all held in one big cage.
“Ugh, how could they…”
Memo stood up from behind the tree and ran around the corner; he needed to cause a distraction to save the Chansey and Blissey. The boy thought hard as he overlooked the area from the top of a tree he climbed.
“Hmmm…”
The boy was planning and scheming so deeply that he didn’t notice a little Eevee staring at him from the bottom of the tree curiously. Surprisingly enough Memo noticed the Eevee and tried to shoosh it away, afraid those creeps would see it and hurt it.
“Pshh…goooo awwwayyyy.”
He whispered quietly to the pokemon and crawled over to the edge of the branch so that it might hear him better. But before Memo had a chance to react the branch snapped and Memo fell flat on his butt from the top of tree, finally getting the attention of that Eevee…and those Team Chaos creeps.
“OWW!”
The man and woman pair turned quickly to find a boy on the floor with an Aqua uniform.
“Kakaka, lookie here Pauline, we got ourselves a little goody-two shoes.”
The rather short and scrawny man said with a devious grin on his face. The girl said nothing and only looked at Memo with disgust and slight amusement. The boy stood up and readied his pokeballs.
“I think you 2 know what I’m here for hehe…so if you’d beso kind as to-“
Memo was cut off abruptly with a shine of white light revealing 2 pokemon, a Houndour and a Spinirak. The pair wasted no time to start the quarrel.
“Hehe, I guessed that much.”
The boy readied 2 pokeballs and looked back at the Eevee who was still watching curiously. He gave a quick smile and entered the battle. He realeased one pokeball with a yellow line seal on it which realeased his Skitty and another with a black smoke seal which hid his Kakuna. Peep, Memo’s Skitty started off the battle. The young Aqua trainer was quick to use Peep’s Faint Attack on the Houndour, Memo was hoping his plan would work.
“AHHH Houndour…EMBER ON THAT CAT!!”
The man was riled up now. The woman had followed his lead making her Spinirak use Night Shade on Peep as well. Memo smiled and giggled.
“Ahehe, Peep, Protect! And Soulja use Bug Bite on Houndour!”
Memo’s little combo went perfectly. Peep conjured up a large green dome while they were being attacked and before Houndour had a chance to recover Soulja lunged at it with a vicious bite making the Houndour unable to battle.
“Kakaka, this kid is tough…but I’M TOUGHER!!!”
It was now Peep and Soulja vs Spinirak and Bronzor. Memo eyed all the Chansey and the Blissey inside the cage, they had a certain look of hope now.
“Ok Peep, Zen Headbutt on Spinirak!”
The Skitty charged at the spider pokemon swiftly with a glowing purple glow on its head and landed a clean critical hit making the Spinirak unable to battle. Memo was ready and expecting another pokemon to be sent out but instead the man and woman spoke for a bit, then all of a sudden the woman ran away to the cage of stolen pokemon and tried to escape!
“BWAHAHAHA!!! COME ON KID GIVE IT UP!!!”
Memo wanted to chase the woman badly but he knew that he had to deal with this goon first to make sure there were no other distractions. The boy thought very quickly and withdrew Soulja to make it a fair fight.
“Ok Sing Peep!”
Memo’s Skitty sang a pleasant lullaby that would’ve worked if maybe the Bronzor wasn’t coming in hard with a Gyro Ball attack! The Bronzor hit Peep hard, but the little pomon wasn’t done yet.
“Ok,Again!”
This time the Sing put the Bronzor to sleep and Memo went in to end this.
“Wake UP Slap!!”
The little pink cat readied its tail with a bright pink glow and rammed it into the Bronzor ending Memo’s battle with the man. Memo withdrew his Skitty and tied up the beaten ma to a tree. Memo wasted no time sprinting after the woman and surprisingly enough Memo caught up rather quickly. One of the cage’s wheels had gotten jammed. She wasted no time trying to force her way out of the situation. She realeased her Machoke and battled once again.
“Ok Etina put on a show!”
Memo realeased his Kirlia with a rainbow star seal on it. As soon as the battle was about to start, for an odd reason, Memo looked over his shoulder and low and behold that same Eevee was eyeing memo curiously. The boy just smiled and continued with his battle. The woman silently made her Machoke use Mega Punch and it hit Kirlia hard, but not enough to take her out of the gane. Memo decided to end this quickly.
“Psychic!”
Etina now had a blue aura around her and around Machoke. Machoke was blasted away by a strong telekinetic force which took it out of this battle just as fast as it entered. Memo brought her and the cage of Chansey’s and the one Blissey back to the same tree that the man was tied to and put her there as well. Once there Memo freed the Chansey and happily walked back to town to deliver Nurse Joy’s Chansey’s and Blissey.
“Ohh thank you thank you.”
Nurse Joy thanked Memo for bringing her back her pokemon and for finally ending the reign of rude going on. Memo was given a Heart Stone for all his hard work, courtesy of Nurse Joy. The boy happily healed his pokemon and was about to leave but as he was walking out that Guitarist was still outside being rude to people.
“Ugh….but still I should apologize for fighting with him…”
Memo said as he walked over to him and explained the situation and made amends. The two were getting along great and decided that a one on one pokemon battle should make things concrete. It was Fresa Vs Magnemite and Memo wanted to start off the battle with a bang.
“Sweet Kiss!”
The boy shouted to his Pachirisu with a smile. Fresa showered many pink hearts and the Magnemite confusing it. But that wasn’t enough to stop it from hitting Fresa with a powerful Sonicboom attack.
“Ahehe nice one.”
The Guitarist was pretty confident about his chances, but Memo had a trick up his sleeve.
“Fresa, Super Fang!”
The little squirrel pokemon lunged at the Magnemite with a glowing white fang that nearly finished the foe. Magnemite tried to use one last attack, but it hurt itself in its confusion. Memo and the Guitarist Gave a quick hug and exchanged info so that they can keep in touch. As Memom was nearing the edge of the city he felt a presence that somehow seemed familiar. He turned to find that little Eevee still following him.
“Ahehe, hmmm/”
Memo walked over to the pokemon and knelt down beside it.
“Hello little guy, I’m Memo.”
He extended his arm so that Eevee could sniff it. The Eevee sniffed Memo and continued to stare at him, but all of a sudden Eevee ran around memo reached into his pouch and brought out a pokeball.
“Wha- you wanna come with me?”
The boy couldn’t help but smile as the Eevee nodded and smiled. Memo tapped the pokeball lightly on Eevee’s head and in 1, 2, 3, Eevee was his.
“Ahehe yay…Eevee is my friend now.”
And with that Memo teleported away back to the HQ after long days work.

Alright. Now I'm officially po'd. This thread was meant to streamline the mission grading process, not delay it inevitably. Also, it was meant to be a place for the lower ranks to grade missions that may have been lost to them due to HQ page changes. So get grading if you have the power (See 1st Post). And maybe most importantly of all, I will not apologize foe Tier 3 through 1's laziness. We are we we are. Dante Yashi MISSION LEVEL 1- Night Raid on Devon Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Devon Corp's Nintendo Store and steal 50 DS units. But you must not be seen by anyone. Beware there are 10 guards in the building. You must enter the building. Then make your way to level 3 were the DSs are. But get them quickly and return back. All the units are in one box. Pokemon you may run into on the mission (you may only run into one): Zigzagoon Voltorb DUSKULL Funds upon completion: 1000 I didn't like the battle. Yes it is a level 1 mission, but I still don't like it. Envy should not be able to use Pound->Drill Peck->Hydro Pump, even if the chain only made it to Drill Peck. The rest of the mission went well. And I will pass it once you make the battle a bit more interesting and less one sided. And long is good. Sairaku Mission: No Hug For You! < > All the Chansey's and Blissey's at the Mauville City Pokémon Center have disappeared. As you know, their eggs are very good at helping people in a bad mood cheer up. This has caused general grumpiness thoughout the City, and even Wattson is lashing out. Pokémon: Chansey (Not one of the Pokémon Center's) Zubat Eevee
Rewards: 1000-1500 and a Heart StoneGiant wall of text, level 3 mission, NO. Copy/Paste from Mission Rules "5. Have separate paragraphs. Its hard to read a mission when everything is in one gigantic blob. Gaia doesn't display indented paragraphs, so the best way is to leave a blank line between them. " Each time someone new talks, there should be a new paragraph.

I'm not an admin here, or an 'actual' member here. But I can still offer friendly advice for improving missions, right?
Remember, when there's a dialogue between two people, you should start a new paragraph between each new speaker.
Also, walls of text are appalling. You don't know when the scene changes, if there's any time elapsed, or anything.
Don't be afraid to give your character trouble. Not every mission is going to go his/her way and maybe they should get their butt handed to them, or have a close call every once in a while.
Quality is better than quantity. Even though that is true, it's good to have something other than the "go here, fight, get requirement, come back". How did the character get there? did he have any trouble along the way? What did he do for the whole time? How long did it take him to find where the objective is to take place? Did he have trouble finding it? Stuff like that may help lengthen a mission.
While asterisks are good for distinguishing action from words, quotes are better for the job of separating action from speech in my opinion. It allows dialogue to flow better and helps to make the mission look cleaner.
Maybe you're writing to get better, maybe you're writing for fun. It doesn't matter. You write how you write and it's hard to change. These are just some friendly tips to help you if you want to change your style of writing. If you're finding your way boring or you just want to change for the sake of changing.
So uh. Peace out Aquas.

First mission in awhile...hope it's up to par! MISSION - Ancient Assault Kanto's ancient pokemon are back! Go find them in the Underground Cave! The bad thing is someone has beaten you to get Aerodactyl. You'll battle 2 people that are trying to get the pokemon too.
Mission Level: 2
Pokemon: Kabuto Omantye
Money: 800-2000 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beep. Beep. Beep. Adelle groaned slightly as she heard her TADS beeping, indicating that she had a new message waiting for her. Why did it always seem that the new missions came when she was trying to catch up on her beauty sleep? Rolling over in bed, she grabbed the device, flipping the screen open to see the mission debriefing waiting for her. " Ancient pokémon...huh," she muttered, looking over at Houndour laying on the bed next to her who returned her look with a soft bark. The Pokémon got to her feet, jumping off the bed and trotting towards the door with Adie not far behind. The sooner she got there, the better - if she dawdled too long there would be no Pokémon left! Even if she didn't know too much about ancient pokémon and their history, she never turned down the opportunity to add a new member to her team. Walking out into the sunshine of the beach, it was only a short swim with Wartortle to the mainland, and from there a bit of a hike with Houndour at her side to the underground cave marked on her TADS. The blue-haired Aquan stood at the mouth to the cave, peering into the darkness below as she took a few deep breaths. She always tended to prefer sunshine to damp, dark spaces, but it was time to get over it and just go get down to business. Plunging into the cave, Houndour moved ahead of her to light the way with her ember, the sounds of battling wafting through the darkness towards them as they moved further into the cave. Rounding a bend, the sights of battling before her made her eyes widen. A large hole in the ceiling of the cave let light flow into the cavern, even if it was dimmed by the time it reached the floor. In groups around the massive cavern, trainers were battling and attempting to catch the swarms of ancient Pokémon she had only seen pictures of. There were so many trainers; she wasn't sure where she was going to fit in to get a Pokémon. To the side, in a little corner of the cavern not infested with greedy trainers, a flash of blue caught her eye. An Omanyte scuttled across the ground, and instantly, Adelle took off in a run after it. As she was running, she pulled Mareep's pokeball from her belt, releasing the electric Pokémon into the cave already running after the wild Pokémon. The pair broke apart, aiming to corner the Pokémon, and would have been successful if another trainer hadn't flown out of seemingly nowhere and knocked her to the ground in an attempt to get to the same Pokémon. " Hey! You jerk," she called out after him, getting to her feet again in time to see the Omanyte manage to slip away from him. Mareep and Houndour came back to her side, Houndour giving a low growl as the boy turned to look at her. " Why'd you get in the way? I woulda caught that thing if you hadn't been there," he said with a sneer, throwing his hands up in exasperation before turning to walk away from her. Adie couldn't help herself - there was something in his attitude that made her want to just punch him square in the face. Mareep, picking up on her trainer's negative energy, discharged a little electricity from her fur in the boy's general direction, the guy jumping and turning around with a fire in his eyes. " Oh...yea, sorry," Adie called across the space between them, placing one hand on her hip in a cocky sort of way as her lips curled into a grin. Now, it was on. Pulling a pokeball from his belt, the boy brandished it at her, as if the mere sight of the red and white ball was supposed to inspire intense fear. Instead, she merely pulled one of her own out. “ We’ll see who’s laughing when I smash your face in the dirt,” the boy called out, releasing Beedrill into battle. Green eyes flashing as she saw the bug type Pokémon, Adelle released her own Pokémon into battle: Nidorino. The boy saw her choice and laughed, calling for his Pokémon to start the battle with Fury Attack. The bug Pokémon shot forwards, stingers jabbing forward several times. For the most part, Nidorino was able to avoid the jabs, but even the ones that hit didn’t do much damage. “ Alright Nidorino! Horn attack,” she called out, the normal type Pokémon moving forwards and leaping through the air, stabbing his horn directly into the opposing Pokémon. The attack did critical damage, though it wasn’t enough to take out the bug type. Rushing forwards at his trainer’s call, the Beedrill attempted a Twineedle attack, jabbing at Nidorino twice with his stingers. However, because of his type advantage, Adie’s Pokémon hardly felt the blows. Finishing off the battle with a peck attack, the boy’s shocked expression was priceless as his first Pokémon took a dive. Grinning triumphantly, Nidorino pawing the ground as he set his eyes on the opposite trainer, who released a Shuckle as his next attempt. This was going to be just as easy as the last one. “ Nidorino, I’m getting bored…Peck it,” she called out, grinning as she thought that being a bug Pokémon like this last one, she would have a better advantage. However, as the peck attack landed, it did not do nearly the amount of damage she was expecting. Thrown off momentarily, the opposing Pokémon responded with Constrict. Seeing the pain on her Pokémon’s face, she called out for him to get free, the normal type barely managing it before retaliating with a Double Kick attack. “ Shuckle, Withdraw,” the boy called out, the bug Pokémon withdrawing itself into his hardened shell as Nidorino attempted another Horn Attack. All it really did was leave the shell spinning on the rocky ground momentarily, though it did do some damage. The opposing Pokémon tried another Constrict, but was cut short as Nidorino rushed forwards, landing another Peck attack, and causing the second Pokémon to faint. Running up, she threw her arms around Nidorino, careful to avoid the spikes, as the boy shouted a few curses at her before turning and running off into the cave once more. It was always nice to put someone in his or her place. Standing, she started her search for an ancient Pokémon anew, deciding to wander further into the cave while the rest of the trainers worried about the mouth. Nidorino walked at her side, keeping an eye out in the increasing darkness the best he could for movement. Thankfully, the pair did not get far before two glowing red eyes met them, Adelle stumbling across a whole family of Kabuto. One in particular had the guts to come forward, the sound of it’s hardened shell scratching across the rock of the cave sending a soft shiver up her spine. Deciding that this wasn’t the right battle for Nidorino, she returned the Pokémon, releasing Tropius instead. Type advantage meant she could get this done and get out of the dark. The wild Pokémon started the battle with a Sand Attack, aimed at lowering the accuracy of her grass type. Thankfully, she had an idea to get around that – mass attacks. Calling for Tropius to use Razor leaf, the large Pokémon released a mass of sharpened leaves, the grass attack dealing a significant amount of damage to the ground type. Not wanting to make the Pokémon faint, the blue haired trainer quickly pulled a Great Ball from her bag, throwing it at the weakened Kabuto. One shake… Two shakes… Three shakes, and the ball stopped. Pumping her fist in triumph, she moved carefully into the darkness, the Kabuto scuttling away with each step she approached them. When she picked up the Pokémon, returning Tropius and heading back towards the mouth of the cave, all she could think about was how great it would be to get back into the sun. Little did she know, there would be one more obstacle between her and freedom. Emerging into the large cavern she started in, her eyes instantly moved to an approaching figure, the same boy from before, now leading a significantly larger and cuter boy by the arm. Stopping as they came up to her, she could hear the smaller boy telling him about what a bully she was, and how he needed to teach her a lesson from stealing his catch, or something completely ridiculous like that. Lord knows, she wasn’t going to stand for some brat like that, and so she turned her attention to the older boy, putting on one of her more charming smiles. “ Look, this is all just one big misunderstanding. I made my catch, and I just want to go homep,” she said, hoping that it would be enough to get out of the cave without too much of a fight, but it seemed the brothers had other ideas. “ Look, I bet this was blown out of proportion, but I told him I would battle you and get him a Pokémon. So let’s just do this,” he said, pulling out a pokeball and releasing a Hypno into battle. Adie’s eyes widened slightly, not sure if she was equipped to take on such a high level Pokémon, but she knew that she would just have to rely on the strength of her training. Pulling out Ekans’ pokeball, she released him into battle, praying that this would be enough. Watching as the Hypno rushed forwards, starting out with a pound attack, Ekans waited for the Pokémon to come closer before using Glare, an intimidating move that caused the psychic Pokémon to freeze, paralyzed with fright. Adelle saw the boys’ mouths drop open as her poison type moved forwards, using Bite and dealing a significant amount of damage with a type advantage. Calling out for the paralyzed Pokémon to use any moves possible, Ekans managed to land a second bite attack, causing the opposing Pokémon to faint. “ Alright, alright, go Baltoy,” the boy called out, releasing his second Pokémon into battle in a tone that suggested he was trying to keep himself calm. It was almost like he wasn’t used to being beaten with his first Pokémon, but he would soon learn. Adelle was a pretty strong battler. Returning Ekans from battle, knowing that her Pokémon wouldn’t stand a chance against this new opponent. Finding that she really just wanted to leave, Adie went with her tried and true Pokémon companion – the one she knew would be able to handle anything they threw at him. “ Wartortle, let’s get this done so we can get the heck outta here,” she said as she released her first Pokémon into battle. Baltoy started the battle with Rapid Spin, the normal attack hitting Wartortle and knocking him back across the rocky ground. Her Pokémon answered back with a Water Gun attack, the water damage dealing a critical amount of damage to the opposing Pokémon. “ Gah! Baltoy! Take care of that thing now,” the boy called, the opposing Pokémon releasing a Confusion attack in a last attempt to take Wartortle out of the picture. While the psychic attack did connect, it only took one more Water Gun for the Baltoy to faint, Wartortle striking a pose as if readying himself for the next battle. Calling out in frustration as he returned his second fainted Pokémon, Adelle looked like she was purely enjoying herself now. It wasn’t every day she got to show two boys who was boss when they went around acting like total jerks. “ Bro! You gotta show this chick who’s who,” the smaller brother said, glaring across the battlefield at Adelle as the older brother quickly pulled out his last pokeball. Throwing it into the ring, Froslass appearing in a flurry of white. Wartortle turned back to his trainer, looking at her as if asking what the Pokémon was in front of her. To be honest, she had never seen a Pokémon like that before, but that wasn’t going to stop her from taking it down. “ Come on back Wartortle. Go, Houndour,” she called out, releasing the closest thing she had to a fire Pokémon into battle in hopes that it would be enough to finish this. The opposing Froslass started the battle with Icy Wind, a cold chill rushing through the area, chilling Houndour almost to the bone. It would make her a little slower, but it was far from enough to take out Houndour. Rushing forwards, her Pokémon used Fire Fang, dealing a substantial amount of damage to the ice type, while simultaneously causing Froslass to flinch. “ Finish her Houndour,” Adelle called out, taking advantage of the flinch to immediately attack with a Flamethrower attack. Once the flames subsided, Froslass fainted, Houndour almost grinning before padding over to her trainer, rubbing against her leg. “ And that, gentlemen, is how it’s done. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a date with the beach,” she said simply, walking by them as they started squabbling with each other about the result of the battle. She didn’t stick around to hear their specific insults in her direction – she was more than ready to get the heck out of this cave and back into the sunshine. As she emerged from the mouth of the cave, cracking her neck as she saw the sun starting to set behind the horizon, she started heading back towards HQ. At least the day wasn’t a total waste – she got a new Pokémon out of it.

Shinryushadow I'm not an admin here, or an 'actual' member here. *Adds to 'Mission Tips' thread* Actually, I came up with another possible solution for indented paragraphs.
Let's see if it works Shall we? Three lines should be enough. Okay, so it doesn't work. Let's keep those double-spaced paragraphs for a while longer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MISSION- Herbology class (Attempt 3)
There’s a lush garden located on the outskirts of Violet City. Residents say the area is home to an old and powerful Meganium. There must be some truth to the rumors, because the garden stays in bloom, even during winter.
However, we’ve gotten word from the Monks of Sprout Tower that a band of poachers were asking about the garden. Head to Violet City and stop the poachers!
You’ll face 3 poachers with 2 pokemon each, and their leader with 3 pokemon. Don’t let them capture that Meganium.
Pokemon: Any shiny, basic-stage Grass type Rewards: 1800 Item: Up to 3 Berries awarded by the grader.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After receiving his latest mission on his TADS, he closed the TADS, got ready, and headed out. According to the briefing, he was to head to Violet to head off the poachers before they reached the garden. I really need a flying type… Tommy thought as he headed out on his Ratchet Board. Hitting Mach 3, he stayed at that speed, and soon reached the outskirts of Violet, where the Garden was said to be, accidentally passing over it too fast. Trying to turn around, the gravity switch turned off on accident, and Tommy plummeted into the town below…
Tommy woke up, sprawled out on the floor, his Board had been returned before he hit the ground. A group of people had gathered around him, albeit maybe only 5 or 6 people. Three of six included a lady holding a pot of flowers, actually quite covered in dirt and sweat. The second and third guys were the same as the lady, probably workers or assistants. The fourth, a man, had a weird look on his face, wondering “who this brat was”. He was garbed in a black suit, with a bit of brown patched in to it in a spiral design. The other two men were dressed in… whatever monks wore. Tommy immediately jumped up, much to the surprise of the others.
“Are you ok?” The Florist and workers asked. “Yeah, I’m fine. What happened?” With a bit of awe, one of the monks responded. “Well…, you fell out of the sky!” he exclaimed pointing upwards. “I’m not surprised…” Tommy muttered. “Huh?” the Florist and two other men asked. “Anyways, what are you here for?” The man in black asked. “Ah, yes, about that, I was sent to go… do something at the garden. Think you could point me in that direction?” Tommy asked the group. Everyone in the group did not know, except for the monks. “Can you step over this way? The monks asked. Tommy obliged, and followed them away, leaving the group in a puzzled state. However, little did Tommy know, the man in black started to follow them.
Close to the Outskirts of town, Tommy and the monks stopped. “To answer your question, we do not know exactly where it is, but poachers have been asking around. Are YOU a poacher?” they asked suspiciously. Tommy shook his head vigorously. "Are you sure?" asked the other monk. He nodded. As soon as the monks saw a nod, they pelted Tommy with a barrage of questions. "NAME, PLACE OF RESIDENT, FAVORITE POKEMON" Etc, etc. Tommy was dazed as he answered every question thrown at him. “Ok then, well, what we DO know is that it is somewhere in this direction on the outskirts of town.” Both monks said at the same time. “Thanks! I was sent to do something, to prevent…” Tommy said, the monks now with a quizzical look on their faces. “But anyways, Thanks!” Tommy said as he rushed out. The man in black had heard, and went to inform a woman standing near the gym, who had a large scar running down her face, wearing a black, tattered robe with tears and claw marks, with a red three claw insignia, running from her right shoulder to her left hip. The other two with her were wearing the same thing as the first guy, but with Purple swirls instead of brown swirls. The small group followed Tommy into the outskirts of the town.
Tommy arrived at the entrance to the garden, a small, hidden path... somewhere. Out of the corner of his eyes, he sees four blurs race across the trees to his left. "Hey, Stop!" This resulted in a double fist slam, causing Tommy to fly far back. Tommy got up, ready to do whatever he had to. The two grunts of the team stepped up, the purple swirl duo. They smirked for two reasons. He seemed almost uninjured by their attack, besides a few scratches here and there and a broken nose. The second for his guts, his pitiful little guts. They both sent their poke's out, a Fearow and a Charmander. Tommy sent out Chiko and Treecko, the green fighting duo, apparently not phased by type disadvantage. The battle was about to get underway.
Order: Fearow, Treecko, Charmander, Chiko
Fearow starts off with a Mirror Move, but there is nothing to reflect back. Treecko then uses a Strength that knocks Charmander back a few yards back. Charmander uses a Dragon Rage, doing 40 points of damage to Chiko. Chiko then uses a Toxic on Charmander, poisoning it badly. Charmander was hurt for 1/16 damage of full health. Fearow uses Drill Peck, doing a good amount of damage to Treecko. Treecko uses another Strength on Charmander, hitting it backwards again, this time on its back. Charmander uses a nasty Flamethrower on Chiko, hurting her fairly badly. Chiko goes in for the KO on Charmander with Body Slam, but Charmander hangs on. He is then KOed by 2/16 damage from poison. Trainer 1 sent out his Kadabra and returned his fallen Charmander.
Order: Fearow, Kadabra, Treecko, Chiko
Kadabra used a Disable on Treecko, cutting off the use of a Sunny Day attack. Fearow used a Growl, lowering Chiko's attack. “Now, Chiko, Razor Leaf, Treecko, Mega Drain!” Tommy shouted, as Fearow's health was drained, and Kadabra was struck by the Razor leaves. Kadabra used a powerful Psycho Cut on Treecko, damaging him badly. Fearow tried to Drill Peck Chiko, but Chiko luckily dodged. Chiko and Treecko used an Energy Ball that took out Fearow, and left Kadabra near to fainting. The second trainer called out his Kirlia, returning his Fearow.
Order: Kadabra, Treecko, Kirlia, Chiko
Kadabra used a Miracle Eye, getting ready to hit Treecko without fail. Treecko responded with a tough, critical Giga Drain, draining most of the energy from Kadabra, and restoring the small lizards health. The other grunt told Kirlia to use an unexpected Icy Wind, hurting Chiko considerably, as well as Treecko. “Ok Chiko, now an Ancient Power!” Tommy shouted as a bunch of ancient rocks smashed into Kadabra, knocking it out, and raising all of Chiko’s stats. The defeated grunt recalled his Kadabra, and hung his head in shame. Kirlia didn’t wait, and used a well aimed Ice punch to take out Treecko. Tommy sent out Vibrava as Chiko waited for her next orders.
Order: Vibrava, Chiko, Kirlia
Vibrava used a Dragon Breath, which was combined with an Energy Ball to end the match.
The two grunts held their heads down in despair as they were kicked in the backside by both boss and the other guy. Being now kicked to the side, the grunts laid their helplessly. The Brown swirl guy, the original person who had heard, stepped up. Tommy returned both of his pokemon, and readied the next. “Surprised?” he called sneeringly. “Not really, I probably expected more, if you ask me.” Tommy responded calmly, clearly upsetting and angering the guy. “NO MORE TALKING! LET”S END THIS!” screamed the man. “You started it…” Tommy laughed, sweatdropping. This angered the guy moreover. Both sent out their pokemon. It was Poliwhirl vs. Flaffy.
Order: Poliwrath, Flaffy
Poliwrath started off with a Rain Dance, slapping Flaffy continuously for five slaps, before getting a Thunder Fang, paralyzing it, and slowing it down. Flaffy then used a Shock Wave, hitting the water type without fail. Poliwrath used a Submission to try and take out Flaffy, and ended up hurting itself to. Flaffy took it out with a Rain Dance powered Thunder. The man growled loudly as he sent out his stronger pokemon: Charmeleon
Order: Charmeleon, Flaffy
Charmeleon started off with a Flamethrower, but it was weakened before it hit Flaffy due to the pouring rain. It still hurt Flaffy a little, though. Flaffy retaliated with a Shock Wave, coursing through rain drops as it sped towards Charmeleon. Even though it had made its best attempt, Charmeleon was hit by the electric pulse of energy. Charmeleon then used a Sunny Day, giving his Fire power a lot more… power. “Flaffy, Thunder Punch.” Tommy said casually as Charmelon was socked in the head. Charmeleon retaliated with a super strong Fire Punch. Due to the sun, it had enough power to knock out Flaffy, who was hurt anyways from the first fight with Poliwrath. As soon as Tommy sent out Marshtomp, Charmeleon and Marshtomp locked gazes. There was a small staring contest between the two, and both trainers sweatdropped.
Order: Charmeleon, Marshtomp (my pokemon are slow…)
Charmeleon used a Rock Smash that lowered Marshtomp’s defense, but was otherwise not very harmful. Pushing Charmeleon away, Marshtomp yelled “EARTHQUAKE!” as soon Charmeleon hit the ground, and the fiery chameleon took calamitous damage, KOing it instantly.
Cursing loudly as he sank to his knees, the man was kicked in the head by a hard heel, sending the man to where the other two were. A bunch of poaching weapons fell out of the man’s bag. The woman stepped up to challenge Tommy. She had a look in her eyes…..
Meanwhile…
Pretty much the whole town had come to watch the onslaught of fighting. It was apparent the gang of poachers were losing badly. They wondered if Tommy would stumble and fail. They also doubted that. Whispering could be heard.
Back in the circle o’ flame…
“So what are your reasons for stopping us, Boy?” she scoffed angrily. “Why? Do you hate us or something?” she sneered. “Because I know you’re after the Meganium.” Tommy said calmly. “And why do you think that?” “Well for one thing, you were heading in that direction. Then, you decided to fight. It was only a matter of time.” The women stared in disbelief. “Oh, and because of those poaching weapons over there.” Women couldn’t help chuckling a bit. “Ah, well, those fools were ignorant anyways. When I’m threw here I planned to dump them in the wild to die, more likely eaten then starved. *chiiiiiiii* Tommy stared at her unbelievably. “Well, anyways, shall we just stop and you surrender, or are you gonna' go out on a li--?” Tommy pressured, who was almost immediately answered by being rammed, by a Rampardos, in the stomach. Tommy was thrown 30 feet to the back. Staggering, he coughed up some blood. He sent out his Lairon to take on the big, ancient, hard headed rock of a pokemon. Order: Rampardos, Lairon
Screeching, Rampardos lowered Lairon’s defense harshly. Lairon retaliated with a Metal Claw. “Rampardos, Zen Headbutt!!” The women cried, Rampardos bashing into Lairon with much damage. Another Metal Claw takes out Rampardos, scoring another super effective hit. The women sighed, returning her pokemon, choosing a few choice words. She sends out her next pokemon, a Politoed.
Order: Politoed, Lairon
Politoed it told to use a powerful Waterfall attack. Luckily, even though it’s super effective, Lairon manages to hold on, thanks to his crazy defense stat, even though it had been lowered. Lairon then KOes the second pokemon of his battle term then with a Metal Burst, doubling the damage given. The woman is now enraged, and sends out her last pokemon, a Zangoose.
Order: Zangoose, Lairon
Zangoose takes down Lairon with a Brick Break, due to double super effectiveness, and a lowered defense. Tommy sends out Chiko, ready to do her part.
Order: Zangoose, Chikorita
Zangoose used a Swords Dance, heightening its attack by two stages. “Chiko, Vine Whip!” Tommy yelled, Zangoose getting lashed. As Zangoose charged up a Focus Punch, a Magical Leaf was fired, hitting Zangoose hard, and making it flinch due to loss of concentration. Zangoose ended it with a quick X-scissor, luckily scoring a critical along with super effectiveness. Zangoose panted a little as Marshtomp came out.
Order: Zangoose, Marshtomp
Zangoose tries to use a Thunderbolt on Marshtomp, but type holds it ineffective. “Marshtomp, finish this! Jump to the side of Zangoose and use a Superpower!” Tommy said loudly, assured of victory as Zangoose was smashed into a KO, hitting her trainer, and sending her into the group at the side. The Flame ring died down slowly, giving Tommy enough time to gag and tie up the four poachers and the Zangoose.
As the battle died, a Sandstorm ensued. As it died down, it showed a Trainer lying on the ground, his Marshtomp next to him. There were also four people (and the Zangoose) tied up, and gagged (including Zangoose). As the people swarmed Tommy to help, Tommy was accidentally trampled. After much needed medical attention, Tommy was standing up, his stomach bandaged, his nose fixed back in place, and also bandaged. As Tommy walked back to the fight sight from town, a Meganium appeared. It was the old shiny. It nudged Tommy in the side for it to follow. He let Chiko out, his shiny Chikorita, who immediately ran beside the older plant pokemon. They soon came... to a garden. The Garden.
Tommy and the two shinies comes to the Garden where the Meganium apparently resided. A bunch of Shiny grass types were scuttling about. As Tommy’s eyes glimmered at the sight, the shiny Meganium nudged him in the side again, now showing Tommy he could catch one. Looking around, he starts off at full speed into the depths of the garden ignoring the searing pain in his body as he ran.
Suddenly, he trips. He looked back to see a Grass Knot, and a little to the left, a chuckling Tangela. He decided to catch the little bugger. He sent out Vibrava, and the match unfolded.
Order: Vibrava, Tangela
Vibrava started off with a Supersonic, confusing the foe. Tangela, on the other hand, accidentally slapped itself, doing some damage. “Vibrava, Sand Tomb!” Tommy said loudly as Tangela was encased in sand, hurting it some. Tangela got through confusion, still confused, and used Sunny day, lighting up the area. The confusion was evaporated. Vibrava used a Sonic Boom, sending the vine pokemon into the brush. It came out and used a Wring Out, hurting Vibrava pretty badly. “Vibrava, HYPER BEAM!” Tommy shouted. A large beam of energy hit Tangela smack in the face, landing a critical, but only just after an Endure had been used. Since Vibrava had to recharge, Tangela took the chance to KO Vibrava with a Power Whip. Tommy recalled Vibrava, but did not call anyone out. He threw his Aqua Ball, hitting the Tangela upside the head, who was then absorbed into the ball. One… Two… Three…… Click. The Tangela was caught!
With the ball teleporting away, Tommy waved goodbye to all of the shinies, now ready to leave. Petting the Meganium, and letting the Meganium give a small pink flower to Chiko as a goodbye present, Tommy returned here, he set off back to HQ.
As he walked into the very edge of Violet, some flowers in line with him bloomed. As he walked, the blooming did the same. People watched in awe as Tommy walked, obliviously through the town. He stopped to scratch his back, and the flowers stopped too. As he exited the town, all of the flowers disappeared, and then all burst out in bloom at the same time. Tommy finally noticed as the people oohed and aahed at the sight. He rode away on his Ratchet Board, and was soon at HQ. He sat down, and started typing up a report, just like this one. Freaky, eh?
Pokemon that battled: Marshtomp Chiko Treecko Lairon Flaffy Vibrava

Money: 800-2000 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This mission is okay, but not as good as it could be. While all of the information in the battles was accurate and the types/moves all matched up, they were rather short and one-sided for the most part. I'm willing to overlook this for the most-part, though, because the story itself was good and well put-together. Keep the Omanyte, 1400 PD, and the satisfaction of knowing you completed another mission. ;D

Note: Please make new post with the edited mission instead of making an edit in the previous post. If you only edit the old mission it doesn't raise the post count which lets the graders know a new mission is in need of grading.
Rewards: 1000-1500 and a Heart Stone ___________________________________________________________ I got to the first battle without a problem, minus a few minor spelling errors (mission, be so). And it was good until then, it was exciting and compelling. And then it got confusing. As I do, I make lists, so here we go =D - Pokemon, though have cool nicknames, need to be named by species at least once in the beginning of the mission or encounter. That way the grader doesn't get confused by Pokemon we don't know that are fighting Pokemon that are something else. (i.e. A Caterpie nicknamed Rayquaza) - I'm having trouble with the Protect protecting both team mates and the Bug Bite 1 hit koing Houndour. Depending on what Pokemon launched the Bug Bite, it might be acceptable, but that just leads us back to the first little mark. Suggestions: Reread battles and tweak them a bit.

E E P S T E R -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MISSION- Herbology class (Attempt 3) There’s a lush garden located on the outskirts of Violet City. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really wanted to pass this so I didn't have to be the bad guy who fails everything. But level 3 missions are where things get difficult (some would argue level 4, but I believe in 3). So time for a list =D Again. - Miracle Eye doesn't guarantee a hit, it lets Psychic Types hit Dark Types with Psychic Type moves. It also returns the foe's evasion stat to normal. - As much as I love Anime styled battling, there still needs to be a healthy amount of game mechanics (like accuracy) at play. So things with 100% accuracy shouldn't miss, those with less can with more flexibility. - Each time a new person speaks it needs to switch to a new paragraph. - Grammar issue. Read the mission aloud to yourself to find the major ones. Overall, it is still a good mission, just has some flaws for it to pass. I believe in you, you can do it.
