Pups now. The holt was buried in babies. And their chief? Who knew where he was, hardly more then a cub himself. Bloodhunt snarled. And he was supposed to show throat to that pup? He stalked further into the woods. This whole pack thing was a pile of owl pellets anyway. New Wolf, S now Racer, and even Two Moons hadn't been so bad, but the way they fell all over themselves for the so called original Wolfriders. What a joke. And thus he was there alone, stalking through the woods a bit away from the holt.

Aife wandered the woods curiously. She heard tales of other elves in the woods besides her Mother's side and was curious if that was true. It would be interesting to meet other elves.

a scent of something waifed on the air and he sniffed. Like them but also not. Blood hunt crept into the bushes to get a closer look.

Aife paused... she almost felt like something was watching her. Of course it was a forest.... even in the Emerald wood things would watch you. Still... if it were dangerous she could handle it, brushing the dagger she kept with her at all times.

*Who are you?* he sent angerly. This was their holt, what were strangers doing around here? Okay so he was aways away from the holt, but still. their territory was theirs. Couldn't that cub chief even defend it right?

She jumped slightly and looked around warily, unsure of where the voice came from. "Its a free forest. I can walk where I'd like. Now who and WHERE are you?"

He growled and was about to say something when his eyes met her golden brown ones. They filled his vision and he stumbled back. "Nes," the three small letters slipped from his lips in a startled whisper.
