I know this is probably a dumb question. But I'll go for it. Ok, so I recently found out that I'm pregnant. And I couldn't decide whether or not marching band would be a good idea? I'm not going to do it since my mom made me quit school for this year. But if I stayed in school and did marching band, would that be a bad thing? I know the exercise would be good for me but then I got to thinking about it and it also sounds like a bad idea. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm not sure...if you factor in morning sickness, you'd probably get a lot of the effects while marching, I guess. Then there's always the chance that you could get hit by someone or something that could mess up your pregnancy. Most pregnant women aren't supposed to be doing too much strenuous activity from what I've been told, too.

Do not march when pregnant. Excersise in pregnancy should be moderate at best, not marching in the hot sun, risking being hit by other instruments ect.
Low impact is the key to a happy exercise routine while pregnant. ^_^
