St.Eva is famous for its shoreline, though it does have a fair amount of jellyfish. Still it's a great place to get a tan, take a walk on the pier, or do a bit of body boarding out on the waves.

Kat made it to the pier, but by the time she reached a few of the beach crowds she was slowing down. She kept a hand on her side, trying to cut down the blood loss, the dark color of her shirt hiding the blood and the general state of her hair and clothes due to the days in the dungeon had her passing off as a druggie or a homeless woman.

Ruby St.Claire Kat made it to the pier, but by the time she reached a few of the beach crowds she was slowing down. She kept a hand on her side, trying to cut down the blood loss, the dark color of her shirt hiding the blood and the general state of her hair and clothes due to the days in the dungeon had her passing off as a druggie or a homeless woman. Jeffery was enjoying the day off, still enthused about the game last night, and was taking a walk on the beach. He had started walking about three hours ago, and stopped breathing about 2 and a half back. He jumped slightly as he saw Kat, jogging to close the distance. "Ma'am? Ma'am, are you alright?" He called out as he ran up to her. ((Despite my previous school post, the game was the other night. Will rectify that))

Kat startled briefly, her hand dropping from her side, well coated in blood. "Would you believe me if I said yes?" She asked, pausing in between words for her breath.

He said, dropping down. "What on earth happened, is it bad?" He moved to inspect the wound, having lost most care that this was a stranger in rags on the beach.

"Got shot." She said simply. The wound was somewhat minor, the greatest danger being the blood loss and chance of infection, particularly since the bullet seemed to be still lodged inside. She leaned on him as he inspected the wound, and while he was distracted leaned in for a quick peck of a kiss on his lips. As socially awkward as it was, it would let her know if he was friend or foe right off.

He said, checking the wound. His intentions were pure, he just wanted to help the person got shot. "It's bad, we need to get you to a hospital. It doesn't look like there's an exit wound."

"Blood loss, making me light headed, sorry." She said as an explanation for the kiss. She visibly relaxed some, noting him as safe, though with the relaxation came a sharp wave of exhaustion and pain. "Hospital is bad. They'll look their first. I'd be dead by morning."

"You think you'll last much longer out here? Not too many underground hospitals I know about." He shrugged, moving an arm around her to pick her up. "Hate to say it, but with a gun shot the cops will be looking into it, so bad as that might be, they'll be watching you one way or another."

"Then get me some alcohol and a pair of chopsticks. I'll poke the damned thing till the bullet pops out." She let him pick her up, considering she didn't have the energy to fight him on it. She was light, surprisingly so. Not quite emaciated, but she'd clearly been putting her body under an amount of strain. "Can't work with cops either."

He started towards the nearby road. "Keep pressure on it, I'll make the call when we get to the road."

Kat started to struggle in his arms. "Goddamnit, no, ambulance." She gave him a solid glare. "You are going to get me killed you stupid, unreasonable man. Put me down."

Mrs. Klaus had taken her daughter Becky to the beach to play. She wouldn't let the girl in the water, though, because there were too many children playing today--a little girl would get lost out there too easily. Becky was in the Port-a-Potty right now, taking her good sweet time about it. Mrs. Klaus could blame her, though--it stunk pretty bad in there, even breathing through a handkerchief.
Ever on the lookout for a good news story, she spotted the small fight down the beach. Looked like a teenager and... his older sister, maybe? Some woman who'd had too much to drink. Looked like one of the high school football players, and he was carrying her back to their car, perhaps, or the bus stop. Mrs. Klaus hoped he had his driver's license already, but it'd make for a better story if he didn't and they crashed on the way home...
...That was a very dark shirt to be wearing to the beach.
She turned her head slightly to talk towards the Port-a-Potty, though she kept one eye on the scene down the way. "How much longer you gonna be in there, sweetie?"

"Do you want to bleed to death on the beach? You'll get sand in the wound and have kids poking at you like a jelly fish. It won't be fun."

As for the fist fight on the beach, no, no teenager and their sister, just Daryl McArthy beating the s**t out of an effininate punk that thought he was tough s**t. Daryl dropped the other unfortunate soul, picking up his tire iron and continued his walk from the beach back up to where he parked his car.
The girl he was supposed to meet never showed, and had put Daryl in a foul mood. Lucky for him, that punk showed up and decided Daryl would be fun to punch money out of. Daryl thought he was fun to beat the piss out of. So, smiles and giggles all around.
