I was very bored throughout the book. There were a few parts the pique my interest but not by much. The only time that I was dying to find things out was the last couple of chapters.I think part of that has to do with the fact the plot needed a lot of build up to get to the end. Unlike the previous books ,Blood Promise didn't leave me with any sort of cliffhanger .I do have a general idea as to what Spirit Bound is going to be about. . . Your thoughts ??

I did enjoy the book and I don't really like to trash it but I felt that it was lacking in some areas it feels like a filler book that leads to more plot in the next one....

I agree a filler book a way to make more money. The same thing happened in the Twilight series. I did like the end and I did like the letter it gave me goose bumps.

I really enjoyed Blood Promise!! I couldn't put it down (even though I already read the spoilers lolz). Like with Blood Promise I have no idea what will happen in Spirit Bound.

Yeah, it seemed extremely linear and flat to me up until about the point where she figures out the Avery is a spirit user. I was okay with the build-up, if she had actually executed something with that build-up. Such as actually killing Dimitri. Or something. I dunno. I agree, it was a bit boring. And, like I said in another forum a couple of moments ago, I enjoyed the book up until page 499, which is where the letter is.

Yea....i really like the book but there were some parts where I was just like, "ok move it along." It was only when she had her mental commentaries and her long battle scene narrations.
Everything else was great! The letter, which freaked me the crap out, and also when she saw Dimitri for the first time. That gave me goosebumps.
I knew Richelle couldnt kill Dimitri off like that. It just couldn't happen. I knew it wouldnt.
I SO CALLED IT. I totally thought Abe had something to do with Rose's father. MY only surprise was that it actually was her father....huh.

Hm..a bit. Even though it wasn't as good as I thought it would be, I still had the 'couldn't put it down' feeling throughout the whole book. Oh, and the last few chapters made up for every minute I was starting to get bored.
The letter in the end made me like 'O_O I WANNA READ THE NEXT BOOK!!! AHHH!!'. I totally spazzed out on how long I have to wait until the fifth book comes out. = ="
