He originally has brown hair, but he dyed his hair green in memoration to his best friend (see history).
Personality:
Yuuichi is a very cheerful person. He laughs a lot and likes to have fun. It takes a lot of effort to get him down. He is friendly to everyone and doesn't have any enemies (at least, he doesn't consider anyone to be his enemy). He likes to help others whenever he can and if it's in his ability to do it. He doesn't have top grades, but he usually manages to pass all tests.
History:
Yuuichi is a half-blood. His mother was a muggle, and didn't want to suddenly change her life-style after more than 20 years. Yuuichi's father didn't mind this, he liked muggles and wanted his wife to be happy more than anything else. Therefore, Yuuichi grew up in a muggle environment and only had muggle friends.
Of course he knew he was a wizard, his parents told him when he was still a small child. But apart from that, he didn't knew much about the wizarding world and showed little interest in it. He also didn't want to go to hogwarts at first. His reason for this was his best friend Kazuya.
Kazuya was like a brother to Yuuichi. He always protected Yuuichi, who always got picked on, because of his shy personality. Because of this, Yuuichi grew up to have a brother complex towards Kazuya.
Shortly after Yuuichi got his letter from hogwarts, Kazuya met with a on unfortunate car accident. His wounds were so severe, that it resulted in him dying. Before his death, Kazuya had his last conversation with Yuuichi. And told him to always keep on smiling and to become stronger. That he shouldn't cry so easily when someone picks on him, and that he should try fighting back.
With these words, Yuuichi tried to change the kind of person he was. He smiled more, he talked more, he made friends more easily.
But Yuuichi feared he'd forget about Kazuya once he changed. So, he decided to dye his hair green, which is Kazuya's favourite color.
He also decided to go to hogwarts, hoping the pain would lessen and the change would be easier.
