We all know Dissidia is the pinnacle of player pleasure. Fans, almost, unanimously love it. What about the other side of the coin? Yes, just as in FF3, there must always be a dark counterbalance to the light.
What part of Dissidia has irked you? What do you feel brings a blemish to this shining stone of SquareSoft?
Personally? A few things... Tee-dus, Tye-dus, Tee-dus. They just can't make up their mind. (Blame KH2 for "Tye-dus") Zi-dahn?! That caught me off-guard O_o. No set storyline. I played through WoL's story first and then the game basically finished. o_o; I love the story...it's just.... It would of been nice of them to chronolize the stories, or let us switch characters at appropriate times.

I love the game but I do agree with you about the storyline I think it could be thicker... Also it annoys me when your going through a path and it forces you to go into battle against someone when you don't have to and it wipes out all your destiny points stressed But otherwise I love it it's alot of fun smile

Ya Tidus name being said wrong as well and Zidane's got me a bit. I dont much like that voice of Zidane. I am people was made that Tidus had a young voice but dang Zidane sounds like hes the same age as Onion Knight/
The only other thing is that i really hated play thru The Warrior of Lights story. Was way to hard for a character than take a lil bit to get use to. As far as the story i am ok with it. Most fighting games dont have too deep of a story. I am use to just like 6 fights in a row then an ending for that character you played with. So having the story as it is ok with me XD

I've always said TEE-dus. Zidane's voice is a little too deep, I think.
Have you gone through the entire thing? as in all the Destiny Odysseys and Shade Impulses?

Oh, I hoped it would be ZI-dayn, but ever since I heard of the soccer player, I figured it was probably Zi-DAHN. What bothers me more is still SEH-sill. I'm pretty sure the real name Cecil can be pronounced two ways, but it still sounds funny.
Other than that... Well, it's entirely my fault for not having played through IV completely, but really, a huge spoiler right from the beginning?!
What I'm doing is going through Destiny Odyssey with each character in order of difficulty, then continuing with everyone in the same way, so I think it's a little easier to bring everyone's stories together that way, and it doesn't end so suddenly. smile
I did start to play with Kuja in the arcade, though... He's really fun, but am I doing something wrong, or does he take FOREVER to kill with?!

I might just be an idiot, but that's how I always pronounced Zidane. Eheheh.
I will, however, never forgive them for their Tidus pronunciation. But maybe they just shouldn't have made his name changeable in the first place and this wouldn't be happening. D:

Ravenwolf I did start to play with Kuja in the arcade, though... He's really fun, but am I doing something wrong, or does he take FOREVER to kill with?! He does take forever to kill with at first but one hes is bout like lvl 20 it becomes way to easy. I went thru quick mode with him and had him fight Terra on Calm. She is REALLY easy and fast to kill on Calm. She will use tornado whenever you are near and that move is hella easy to dodge. You just wait and time your HP attack when she is about done. Kuja is a blast to play with and is my fav spellcaster in the game. XD BUT i have to warn ALL OF YOU that have not gotten to Chaos. He is lvl 48 and is REALLY FREAKIN HARD. So hard it is not even fair. 1 of hes hp attack can not be blocked or dodge PERIOD. I am at lvl 53 and he still hits me for like 100 for eack brave attack Him being this hard it is the BIGGEST thing i HATE about this game ><

What's that you say? The final boss of a game is very difficult?! *monotone voice* I am shocked. Who could have thought it.
xd I'm glad that the boss will be hard. Too many gamers get off easy. =P It's a good way to end games too.

Too many gamers get off easy. =P It's a good way to end games too. It is not hard in the sense that you dont have the skills you cant win. The fight is 80% luck and 20% skill. I should be able to be the same lvl as him and be able to beat him but i dont think that is even possible. I was only able to beat him at level 70. I have no prob with having a hard boss fight but when luck has to play a part into beating a boss i have a problem with that. All things can go right for you and you do everything the way your are to then he pulls off a move you can dodge or block breaks you then kills you >< Too many times where as i was fighting him i as doing a good job of dodge everything and keeping my self alive and doing damage but then BAM. Then it dont help that you have to.....never mind you will see when you get there. "So whats that you say?"

I have to agree that the story is a bit odd after you collect your crystal, but I also think that as you are playing the character you want, the story is playing out for everyone else even though you don't see it until you play them as well.
The part I hated most was the summons. No awesome scenes, no amazing graphics, not anything like they are supposed to be used for in my opinion.
All in all great game with some interesting ideas, but could use more limit break options especially when you change costume. Like Cloud for instance, when you change to the Advent Children costume I think he should have that limit break he used on sephiroth in the movie.

Ughhh, I hate bosses that depend on luck... Cloud Strife aka Spikey I have to agree that the story is a bit odd after you collect your crystal, but I also think that as you are playing the character you want, the story is playing out for everyone else even though you don't see it until you play them as well. The part I hated most was the summons. No awesome scenes, no amazing graphics, not anything like they are supposed to be used for in my opinion. All in all great game with some interesting ideas, but could use more limit break options especially when you change costume. Like Cloud for instance, when you change to the Advent Children costume I think he should have that limit break he used on sephiroth in the movie. Yeah, it would be nice if the summons has actual scenes... and since you can only use them once per battle, it wouldn't get out of hand, especially if you had the option to turn them off. They still shouldn't be too long, or you'd forget what you're doing in the battle and get your butt kicked, but... a little something more would be good... It would be seriously unfair if costume changes changed gameplay, though. It's a fun bonus to have them, but that's all they should be, not an integral part of the gameplay. Besides, the move I think you're talking about is just another version of Omnislash.

Ya the story still makes a lil bit no sense SPOILER AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont get the whole Garland and Chaos are the same. And if Cosmos is dead and we killed Chaos then there is no god to watch watch over harmony or discord soooo wouldnt that be a bad thing o.O I dont mind the limits too much but would be cool to have a choices XD. Dont mind the summons cuz if you give them a scene you are stopping the action way to long even if it is like 5 secs. I am fine with how the summons are. Also it would be cool to be able to pick your own EX skills for EX mode

have you playied the game on hard? the controls are diffrent and the powers might be too, im just going off the demo though
