I guess I should start...

You may call me Res or Amanda, whatever you wish. I took a vow tonight that I will never wear short sleeves in public again and that I will try harder at tznuit laws. I do not mix meat and dairy, I do not eat bacon, and I try to be as Jewish as possible.

I am in my fourth year of university and I am a Classicist. As a Classicist, I study archaeology, ancient languages (Latin and Greek), ancient societies, architecture and art.

I've travelled extensively and will share experiences with anyone.

I'm friendlier than I appear mrgreen

Hi I'm Mei or I guess you can call me Christina if you wish. (Note: Guess what my name means....Follower of Christ. Ironic right? smile )

I'm an agnostic theist though I grew up Christian so I know a lot about it. Sometimes I play a Christian on the internet so that I can have a good debate.

I am going into my 3rd year of university as a Physics and Math major.

uhhhhhh I have nothing else to add except I love learning about different religions so I know random things from a lot of them.

Hello!

I'm usually called Lena. I'm a believer in Kemet but I'm not a member of the religion yet- I have to wait until I'm 18, since my parents would never consent to me joining. I don't have that long of a wait, but it feels hard.

I'm a sophomore in highschool and I'm most interested in History and language. I'm learning to speak German and it's going pretty well.

Don't be afraid to talk to me, I love to talk with new people.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 27, 2009 8:25 pm

Lena, you're going to have to make a thread about what Kemet is!

I'm Hawke. I'm bullheaded and passionate about my opinions, and too often think I am right.

I view all religion as a beautiful thing when practiced properly, and believe that everyone that follows one is basically 'right'. I know that the hateful spew from most religions is pretty much the vocal minority, and gives most religions a bad name. I only wish everyone held this view.

Hi, My name is Kelsey (sometimes on the internet I go by Abby, just because I like the sound of it!)

Um, I am Christian. I have been nondenominational all my life but have recently been looking at liberal protestant Churches. I'm going to be a junior in high school and for non-religious reasons I am vegetarian! ^^

I think this guild is a wonderful idea and I think promoting tolerance is a wonderful goal!

Hi guys! I'm also named Amanda. You can call me that or Comfy, whichever you prefer. =D

I am the opposite of Mei; I grew up Agnostic, and am now a Christian. I am also a new Christian, and still figuring it all out. I am sure I have made stupid posts or remarks to most of you (or you have at least seen it). Sorry. T__T

I am going to school for Education. I am starting my student teaching in less than a month! I read a lot on my free time and enjoy learning.

ummm yeah 4laugh

My name is Ren-ai, but I go by Rose, Roselite or Rae (I seem to like "R" names).

I am not any one religion, but more like a blend of any and all I come across. I was baptized Lutheran by my parents, but only to please my Grandmother. I was raised very openly, with no one religion standing over me. My father is Lutheran while my mother is non-practicing Mormon.

I am *technically* in my fourth year at college, but I'm starting over due to emotional issues at my last school. I'm a Computer Programming major with a minor in Math.

I love to draw in anime style, so please don't hesitate to ask for a request. I do them all the time. I also am an avid video gamer.

I like any genre of music, though the individual songs depend. I will say that I am a Vegist... I hate cooked carrots ...ew...

I also love learning about other people's religions!

Hello, I go by Ai, Aino, Ailill, or Aino Ailill.

I am an agnostic atheist.

My primary interests revolve around religion and language. In these, I am most versed in Christianity and Latin. I am, by no means, an expert in either. I will be beginning my study of Ancient Greek soon. I'm rather excited! ^^

I am a Freshman at FSU. My major is Biology with the intent of going to Pharm. School for graduate studies. I wish that I could do something involving my interests but I don't particularly wish to teach and that is pretty much all I can see doing with a degree in such; either that or becoming a religious leader which would be rather blasphemous.

In debates, I tend to argue either 'side' (or rather against any person on any side). If I see something that I think might be flawed, I'll question it. Because of this tendency, I've been accused of holding positions that I don't hold, so if you're ever uncertain, ask!

And...that's it. ^^

I like avi art. ninja EDIT: I realized I still have my stripped avi on. I have a list of dream avis in my journal. Eventually, I shall have enough gold to have all of these simultaneously! ... maybe.

Lulls. I used to abhor cooked carrots but now find they're rather tasty. ^^ Cooked spinach is as gag-tastic as ever though.

Hi everyone! You can call me Mystere (I don't like the 'i' in there, but the name, in some technical sense, was taken). Or, my real name is Kimberly. It's much too formal for me, so if you prefer to call me by something other than my Gaia name, Kim is okay, but I love being called Kayy.

Well, I'm twenty, so I'm of the college age, however, due to financial troubles I'm not in college right now. Which, in some odd sense, other than that if my mom finds out she'll kick me out, is a blessing in disguise. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, other than that I will be helping people, and spreading God's word. I've considered psychologist, nurse, and Christian singer (How I would be helping people as a singer is making not ONLY songs about God, but also positive songs about body image, loving yourself, etc. And, by some odd chance that I got rich, seeing as money doesn't matter, I'd make organizations for things like rape and positive body image). Whatever I do, it's going to be helping people in some way.

Anyways, I guess you can tell by the capital G every time I say God that I'm Christian. I have only been Christian for about two years. I was a stubborn, close-minded Atheist for the rest of my life (Don't worry, I'm not saying Atheists are, just that I was one that WAS. Every group has them, sadly). I am not a very strong and firm Christian. Of course, I accept and love everyone, so no worries about me pushing my beliefs on you. :]

I'm kind of crazy and random. If I say something odd for no reason, that's just me being me. I'm also very loving. I love everything and everyone. It's the reason I'm a vegetarian. Also, I'm very empathetic, so please don't show me anything painful. >.<

OMGosh, Aino, you go to FSU?! I live right under Tallahassee. I basically live in Tallahassee! Wow, small world.

*Starts singing "It's a Small World"*

I live in Alabama (yay for the belt buckle of the bible belt) and was picked on most of my life because I didn't go to church and because I liked to learn about other religions.

I went through a Wicca faze in High School, though I still own all my books and still believe in parts of it, so I can answer SOME of those questions.

Hah, that's awesome! >.<

And just so you know, many persons of other religions, when referring to their (male or neutral) deity, will spell 'god' with a capital 'G.'
