So apparently Rey has violated WWE's wellness policy and will be suspended for 30 days starting September 2.
Seeing as how the next Smackdown will be taped on September 1st, I would expect to see an IC title change take place with Dolf Ziggler more than likely getting the belt.
I'm just shocked that a guy like Rey would have drugs on or in him at all. The fact that he lost both Guerrero and Benoit because of drug use would have one believe that he would stay away from the stuff. It's a damn shame. This also takes away a big talent from Smackdown. Rey has been on a roll with a number of great matches, and now this violation could potentially change all that for him. I still wish him the best, and I hope he learns from this.
Discuss: Rey's suspension The IC title's future How can the WWE wrestlers STILL violate the wellness policy?

Dude like more than half the WWE superstars have used steroids before, it's been proven. If you see a what should be muscular person but the muscles are almost deflated(e.i. Edge, Chris Jericho, Rey, Shawn Michaels, etc.) then they've abused steroids. So it doesn't suprise me Rey was caught doing some of other drug. Chris Jericho looks baked most of the time he gets in the ring.

I'm just saying that Rey, among the rest of the roster, should know better than to keep doing these drugs while the wellness policy is in place. The absence of many key WWE wrestlers over the years has messed up a number of current and future storylines, and is just plain bad for business.

Yeah thats true.I think the WWE will do good without Rey for a while. His matches are so repetitive and he always does the same four moves.

Drugs got nothing to do with it otherwise they wouldn't have him wrestling and they would have made the team drop the titles to cryme tyme (Which by the way I feel is they only way they could get those titles). Why pick on the clean superstars that have no record of failing a drug test?

That's hardly half a SHOW, let alone half a company's roster worth of people. And i dont see Jericho or anyone else mentioned earlier, sans Edge. And most of those dates are back between 2004-2006. Three years ago. WWE has changed its wellness program many times since then, to keep wrestlers off the roids. Also keep in mind that EVERYONE mentioned in that article WAS suspended, and havent been on anything since. Even with that being said, more than half of those were PRESCRIPTIONS. Hell, I'VE taken steroids, but it was prescribed to me when i had pneumonia and whooping cough. I was cleared up in a week...though unfortunately, i did NOT gain any extra muscle lol

They would have had to compensate for something. wink
