Character's name: Iu Hana Kuchiki

Aliases/Nicknames: The Crimson Orchid

Age: 20

Occupation: Student

Reiatsu color: Blue

Appearance: At 6'3 Iu is a tall, semi built man. Iu's deep crimson eyes are symbolic to his rather unusual desire to the taste of blood. His arms are rather large because the countless hours he spent working on them when he was alive, as well as the years that he worked out while living in Soul Society. His hair is usually tied up, but he can occasionally be seen with it down. The color of his hair is a very dark black, but sometimes he likes to put streaks in his hair. These don't last very long however, because he tires of the color very quickly. He wears the normal shinigami trainee garb with the Kuchiki haori over it. The haori is sleeveless and made from extremely comfortable material. The insignia on the back is of course, the Kuchiki clans. He has a singular scar on his hand from a burn that he received in his previous life.

Accessories: A necklace that he wears almost at all times. The charm itself is a metal replica of a rose bud.

Personality: Iu has been known to be a pure situationalist. His personality can change with the times, thought usually have common parts with each change. He does his best to always be the nicer person, though it sometimes doesn't work. Iu always has strong feelings for his allies. To him, they are much more than people who happen to be on the same side as himself, they are the embodiment of everything that he fights for. It wouldn't be said that Iu was a teachers pet, but his charm usually reaches them and they tend to like him. Also, Iu is very well liked because of his listening skills and his open mind. Unlike most people, he can think with logic and emotions. Iu is a loyal friend and a formidable enemy. He has a strong pride for his family name, seeing as they are renowned to be powerful.

Bio/History: (Note that these are not my personal feelings that are portrayed in this bio, but those of my characters. I do not think low of any religion or race.)

Ric opened his eyes and looked up at the blank ceiling. The day he dreaded for quite some time had finally arrived. This would be his first day of this school year. Something told him that today was not going to be a good day, but he ignored the feeling. No matter what feeling he felt, Ric had to go to school. His mother had pleaded and guilted him into enrolling yet again, though the school didn't exactly want him back. The year before was not exactly the best year for him. The education here was dumbed down to Ric and it annoyed him to be learning about things he felt were "petty" and "unnecessary". Instead of applying himself to his studies like a good American boy, he began to mentally and torture his teacher. Twisting things words and phrases that seemed harmless to everyone else, the teacher became an emotional wreck. She was related to a Jewish woman who had been killed in one of the concentration camps, so torturing her was easy for Ric. Phrases such as "It's hotter than an oven" or "Does anyone else smell gas in here?" brought the woman to tears on some days. She had no idea that Ric purposly was breaking her with these words, so she never lashed out at him. However, administrators at the school noticed what was triggering her random outbursts of sobs and began forcing Ric to go to the office. At some points, he would recieve a paddle to the behind, but that only fueled his maniacle torture against his teacher. At the end of the year, the woman still did not understand what went on, but she quit her job as a teacher and ended up hanging herself from the guilt of letting her loved one die.

Ric pivoted on his bed and swug his legs so that his rather large feet touched the wooden flooring of his room. The room itself wasn't very large, but it was extremely clean and tidy. Ric hated when things were out of place or dirty. Even coming out of a nights sleep, his bright blonde hair was slicked back with two small strands of hair hovering over his eyes. "Get up, you don't want to miss the bus. Walking the first day would make you look poor, and I will not allow you to ruin the image that I have been working so hard to improve of this family." His mothers voice rang in his ear drums like a pestering fly, digging in deep so that it was impossible to ignore. "Da." Ric mumbled, still trying to bring himself together from his nights sleep. Not even a second after he replied, his mother paced into the room and reached her hand up high into the air. A thud could be heard all through the house as her hand connected with the back of her sons head. "What are you doing?" His eyes looked up to a very flustered looking mother. "I told you, do not speak like that anymore. You are not allowed to." Ric snickered and arose from his bed. "I'm sorry that I refused to be ashamed of my superiority over these pathetic excuses for humans." Her hand was raised again, but it slowly lowered. She finally came to understanding that no matter how many times she hit him, he would continue doing what he was doing. "Get dressed and go to school." She left his room and strutted into the kitchen. And I thought today was going to be bad. That's one more win for Mother German over Mother Traitor. He snickered again as he put on his school clothes and walked out the door of the small home the family currently resided in.

The school that he enrolled in was small, but packed filled with people of many ethnicities and religions. The only thing that Ric felt that the Americans did right was that they seperated the colored people from the normal schools. In Germany though, they wouldn't of even given them schooling. Walking up to the old wooden doors, he took a deep breath and sighed. Swinging the door open, he strolled down the hall with a smile across his face. Nobody knew of his true ideals or mindset, so nobody really had a problem with him. Truthfully, quite a few people adored him. This was found to be annoying to Ric sometimes, but other times it worked out in his favor. As much as he disliked Americans, he sometimes grew lonely and wanted someone to talk to. He found that some of the girls at the school weren't too bad at all, some even resembling the beautiful German girls back in Germany. Finally reaching the classroom that he was told to go to, he quietly opened the door and slipped inside the class. He ended up being late to school because he refused to get on the bus. The drivers nose was a bit too big for Ric's tastes and he decided to walk to school. The only open seat in the rows of desks was the one all the way in the back of the middle row. Again, Ric felt like today was turning out to be another great day. Sitting down in his new desk, he looked to the right and saw that he was sitting next to a rather beautiful blonde girl. Her hair was a bit darker than Ric's, but he didn't mind that at all. Her skin was a milky white and her shirt couldn't of been any tighter. Ric released a smile that he had not shown since coming to America. Today really couldn't get any better. "Hello, might I ask your name?" His voice was low, but as smooth as ever. She giggled lightly and looked down for a moment. "Anna." Ric's eyes met hers and he noticed she also had the perfect blue eyes, matching his own. "Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl. My name is Heinrich, but you can call me Ric." She smiled and nodded, then looked back to the front of the room. A tint of red ran across her face, showing that his flirting was a success. This truly felt like the best way the day could of ended up being.

After class, Ric waited for the beautiful girl to pack up her things, and then began walking with her down the hall. She went on about herself, saying that she actually came from Germany. This excited Ric more than her amazingly beautiful body. To find another German on the first day of school, let alone a beautiful one, was only the best of luck. It seemed that God was truly smiling down on him today. Walking down the street, she told him that she needed to run by the local shop so that she could pick up some things for dinner tonight. Ric decided to go with her, rather than go directly home and be pestered by his mother about how his day had went. Standing outside the shop, he awaited for her to finish up. Walking by, a Rabbai was strolling along the sidewalk. Disgusted, Ric spat on the Rabbai's foot. The devils smirk reached across his face as the Rabbai looked up at him. Not wanting to cause trouble, the man walked on. As soon as the Rabbai was out of sight, Anna emerged from the shop. Ric took his place next to her and began walking on. After a few moments of awkward silence, Ric smiled at her and slipped a finger into the bag and peered into it. "So, what's for dinner tonight?" Various spices and items were in the bag, but one of them stood out the most. "Why did you buy kosher items? All of them are kosher..." Anna smiled and took one of the spices out. "Why do you think I bought them? I'm Jewish." Ric's heart was erased from existance. This beauty that he was spending time with... was a Jew... A dirty Jew... Ric lost the smile that he had been showing to her each time she was looking at him. "Ric?" Anna stopped for a moment and looked at him. "Do you want to stop by my home for a bit? I think it'd be easier to talk there?" The words just stumbled out of his mouth, but he understood fully what they meant. "Sure." Her gentle gleam returned and they walked to Ric's house.

The young pair walked into the home and Ric looked around. The house itself was small, so looking around didn't take more than a few seconds. Nobody was home. Anna placed the bag on the table and smiled at Ric. "So, what did you wanna talk about?" Ric ignored her statement and walked into his room. Anna quickly followed him into the room, finding Ric sitting on his bed. "Come sit with me, Anna." Anna's blush grew across her entire face. Was he trying to do something like that this soon? Anna cautiously sat down next to him and crossed her legs. "Close your eyes. I have a surprise for you." She closed her gentle eyes and her smile grew even larger. A few moments went by as she sat in wait. Her mind began to wander, but it only wandered for a few seconds at most. Before any of the thoughts became fully developed, everything stopped. A sharp pain came across her head before she realized it. The pain was so bad, she couldn't even release a yelp or scream. Slowly opening her eyes, she could see blood dripping down onto the floor. The pain was rising with every moment she was breathing. Before she was able to lift her head up enough to look at Ric, she was struck again. This time, it was all over. Before he had any time to think about it, Ric dragged her body into the living room and out the back door. Out in the small backyard, a fire pit laid dormant and inactive. Throwing in her body, he poured gasoline in the pit and lit the match. Before long, he milky white skin was black. Putting out the fire, Ric burried the young lady and patted the soil to be level with the ground. Ric smiled at the brown patch of dirt in the backyard. Walking back into the house, he smiled and whispered to himself. "Still the best day ever."

Before he could say anything more, everything went black. Ric will never know how he died, or who killed him.

When his eyes opened, they were greeted by a shining sky and russling sounds around him. Nothing seemed to make sense to him. He had no clue who he was, where he was, or what he was. He managed to turn his head enough to see a crowd of people staring him down. He laid his head back to where it was, looking high into the sky. A small pedal fluttered over his face, balancing itself on the tip of his nose. He knew nothing about what was going on. Fear overcame him like the rising tide. A woman stood over him and looked down at his body. "What's your name?" She spoke in a very strong voice, but at the same time it was calming. "I... don't know." His eyes connected with hers and she smiled, brushing the flower pedal from his nose. "Want to be my flower?" His facial expression changed and it was obviously her statement made no sense to him. "Iu Hana."
