ooc- I didn't know where to post really haha, so I figured just to start a new thread.
Seamus followed Angelica out of the kitchen, swiping up an offered cookie on the way. It was peanut butter. He could live with that. He nibbled it as they made their way through the hall. "Well it was certainly a nice change. The Great Hall can get hectic, although not often around the lunch hours. But I don't think I could deal with being swamped by help." Seamus expected to be helped of course, but with that many elves on hand trying to help, it rather made more chaos. Still following Angel, they made their way into the sun.
A soft breeze was blowing, and although it carried the promise of fall, it was still comfortable. Seamus walked quicker a moment, pacing himself along side Angelica. "Nice out. It was a good idea to come out." He closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the sun. No longer than a moment though, to ensure he didn't knock into his companion. "Well. I think Care on Magical Creatures may very well be tolerable, with weather so nice."

[[*invades yer thread*]]
Anna had had better first days of school, that was certain. It wasn't that morning classes had been hard, seeing as she didn't have any. It was the lack of sleep that hit her hard. She would have just slept in until lunch, had it not been for the third year dragging her sorry a** out of bed and to breakfast. The Ravenclaw had never been the happiest person in the morning, and she could only take so many bubbly morning people and the smell of eggs before she had to slap someone. Though, she hadn't done that in a while. Unfortunately enough, the bad mood continued throughout the day, some people earning unwarranted snappy remarks. Such as today, when she had managed to upset another girl at lunch so badly, that she had ended up getting a plate of pasta thrown at her.
Well, maybe if they had just admitted they were wrong, Anna would have just left it very well alone.
And now? Now she was stuck in a uniform with sauce on the vest and skirt, and still cleaning noodles out of her hair. That, and her socks and shoes didn't match. She looked quite the mess, she was sure. She'd go clean up later, but for now, she was set on avoiding anyone in her house, let alone anyone who was crazy enough to throw food at a prefect. With a small sigh, she sat down, back against a tree, and reach around her bag for her book. Muggle literature seemed to be gaining popularity nowadays, but that didn't mean her parents appreciated it. Purebloods have nothing to do with people of lower standards. Especially muggles. She ran a hand over the cover of the book, recalling the time her father collected all the muggle books she had had, and burned them. That had been right around the time when she realized that she should keep things like that hidden. Tucking of strand of hair behind her ear - and removing a noodle with a look of disgust from the same strand - she opened the book and began to read, making an attempt to ignore anyone else outside.

Angelica smiled at Seamus as he mentioned being swamped by help. "They love it, really. Plus you seem to be enjoying that cookie they gave you," she said with a smirk. "All house elves are like that, though," she continued. "Our house elves at home, Camy and Tamy, are constantly bothering us to see if we need anything, which we hardly ever do." She was referring to herself and her sister, as well as her parents. "I'm sure you've told me before, but I forget, have you any elves at home, Seamus?" She was just attempting to make idle conversation as they exited the castle and made their way onto the grounds, a breeze blowing across the green grass of the grounds.
Gazing up at the clear sky, Angelica nodded. "It was. It's beautiful out here." Angelica took a step away from Seamus as he drifted toward her for a moment, before he snapped his eyes open. Smirking at his slight swerve, she nodded at his next comment, her eyes grazing over a Ravenclaw with what appeared to be pasta sauce smeared over her clothes, and replied, "I agree. As long as Professor Feliday has something fun planned." Biting her lip for a moment, Angelica decided to be a bit more forward than she normally was and reached out her hand toward Seamus, closing the gap between their arms and tucking her hand into his. She hoped he wouldn't mind, but seeing as they had held hands earlier in the day, she doubted he would.

ooc- Sugar you can crash my thread anytime :p
Seamus nodded as Angelica spoke about the oppressively helpful nature of the house elves. "I doubt I told you before really. There's rarely a need to talk about such things, except for now. We do. Only one, since it's so rare to be home for any period of time. Although our guest house has one, from Jana's side. For when she's staying." The elf wasn't always there, Seamus suspected he came from Jana's home, but he wasn't certain. It didn't bother him however, so he didn't care. Letting his eyes take in the grounds, reminding him of his own gardens, Seamus caught Anna in his line of vision. She was a mess, pasta sauce covering her uniform. Interesting.
When Angelica slipped her hand into his, Seamus tugged, bringing them both along to where Anna was reading. As they got closer he realized there was more remnants than just sauce on the Ravenclaw. Quickly he brushed a stringy noodle off her shoulder with his free hand.
He looked from Angelica to Anna's head, still bent into the book. "Darlings, those clothes are ruined."

[[D'aww. Thanks. xD]]
It was quite possibly the strangest book Anna had ever read, and she loved it. She had owned it for years, and read it often. It showed, too. The cover looked worn, and a few of the pages had stains and tears. The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. Douglas Adams was a genius, and she would have loved to meet him, had he not been dead for over fifty years. She flipped a page, her mood lifting slightly. Ignoring everyone else was quite easy, although the breeze was rather annoying.
She had been caught up in her book enough to not notice when two people approached her. However, she had noticed when someone brushed a noodle off of her shoulder. Scowling, the book was closed in an instant, and she smacked the hand before whoever it was could pull away. At this point, she honestly couldn't care less about who it was. Just that they were interrupting her.
Looking up, she stared at Seamus in disbelief. Of course it would be him. Shaking her head, she glanced over at the Slytherin girl he was with, but didn't pay much mind. She recognized her, but just as the girl who had been shooting her nasty looks the night before. Standing up rather quickly, she shoved the book back in her bag with a little more force than was needed. "Thank you, Seamus. I didn't notice." she replied bitterly, folding her arms over her chest.

Angelica nodded as Seamus too shared the woes of owning a house elf. "I know their purpose is to help, but sometimes they're truly more of a hindrance." While Angelica did somewhat appreciate the elves in her household, she would never speak that to anyone. The were servants and nothing more to her. All thoughts of house elves were put out of her mind as Seamus tugged on her hand, and Angelica grinned at him before she realized where he was pulling her to.
Angelica pursed her lips but didn't speak when Seamus reached down and brushed a noodle off the girl's shoulder, to which the girl's only response was to slap the hand away. Angelica smirked and held in a small laugh. As the girl looked up, Angelica caught sight of her face and thought she looked familiar, but couldn't place her. Ah, well. Must not be important. Angelica squeezed Seamus's hand and looked at the girl's skirt as he said her clothes were ruined. "What happened, exactly?" She was curious, but the flatness of her voice and faux disinterest showing on her face wouldn't have let anyone present know that she did in fact want to know what had occurred to cause the Ravenclaw to be covered in spaghetti. Plus, she wanted to keep the Ravenclaw in their vicinity. It was plain on her face that she would rather be anywhere else. This could be fun.

Seamus pulled his hand back quickly, shaking it. Tsk. She was quick. He pouted at her a moment before pulling out his wand. He opened his mouth to speak, but snapped it shut instead. Anna was cranky. It would be easier to act first and ask questions later, if at all. Releasing Angelica, Seamus quickly pushed Anna's arms down and murmured Scourgify. The stains disappeared from the uniform.
"There now love, suck it up." He stepped away from her though, in case she struck. He found it amusing that she was so unpredictable, so far. When Angelica asked what happened, he nodded his own curiosity, although it was more sincere than her own. "You've been this charming all day I gather?"

The scowl on Anna's face changed into a smirk for a short moment, when she noticed Seamus shaking his hand. Good. She still had it, then. It quickly turned back into a scowl when the Slytherin boy pushed her arms down. As she was about to protest, the stains disappeared from her uniform. The Ravenclaw stared at Seamus for a short moment, before mumbling a thanks, although it was clear in both her tone and in her face that she was beating herself up for not thinking of it first.
Her attention turned back to the girl, and she thought for a moment on how to explain what had happened. Telling an outright lie wouldn't do, since the only thing she could come up with was saying she had been clumsy and spilled the pasta on herself. In the end, she just sighed, and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I interrupted a fourth years conversation with her friends, because I couldn't quite agree with what she had to say. I was happy to leave it at that, but she decided that she wanted to argue with me. Somewhere along the line, she burst into tears, and decided that the best way to end the argument was to dump her lunch on me. It really was on my own fault." She shook her head again, and ran a hand through her hair. Folding her arms across her chest, she gave a tiny half laugh at what Seamus had to say. "I am always this charming. I'm usually quite good at hiding it, though."

Angelica scowled as Seamus released her hand to clean the younger student's uniform, but returned her expression to normal as she spoke. Suppressing a smirk quite successfully, Angelica licked her lip before speaking. "That's quite unfortunate. If anyone had done that to me, I would have hexed them." Flipping her hair over her shoulder, Angelica appraised the Ravenclaw. She had an attitude, and Angelica liked that. If she was a pureblood, perhaps the two of them could be friends. As she finished her answer to Seamus' question, Angelica also gave a small laugh. "I don't believe we've been acquainted. I'm Angelica Ellsworth," she said, crossing her arms over her chest and straightening her back a bit, a small smile gracing her face. Angelica vaguely remembered the girl from the night before, as she had thought previously, but hoped any altercations between the two of them would be forgotten, especially since Angelica was being nice.

Anna didn't fail to notice that the Slytherin girl had scowled when Seamus pulled his hand away from hers. She couldn't help but wonder about the two Slytherins, but she kept her mouth shut. It wasn't her place, and she had already stuck her nose into other people's lives enough today. "Yes, I suppose it is...unfortunate. But, like I said, it was my own fault." Hexing the fourth year sounded extremely tempting at the moment, but there would always be other ways to get back at her, and there would always be another time. As the other girl introduced her, Anna bit her lip, trying to recall where she had heard the last name before. She shrugged it off, figuring it was probably just something her father rambled about. "Anna Korkeakoski, pleased to meet you." she replied, making an attempt at a charming smile. It was a bit hard, though, seeing as she would much rather be reading or figuring out a way to get back at the fourth year.

I'm Not Some Cry Baby! I'm Just Over Emotional Alot... But Don't Count Me Out! I'll Surprise You All Yet... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Whaaaaaaaaa!" Felix exclaimed the sound as he stumbled over his own feet, crashing to the ground. With his face in the dirt, Snickers made his appearance on Felix's back. Felix rolled over and tried to grab the ferret, but when he held his hands up all he had was grass. He frowned, tears already spilling down his cheeks that were mostly from the fall but now fueled by his disappointment. The ferret bounded in front of him, taking off for three people. Seamus, Angelica, and Anna.
Felix scrambled to his feet, taking chase again. Snickers went right for Seamus and his shoes. "No!" Felix called, but it was too late. The ferret had taken to gnawing on Seamus's shoes. Felix rushed up and scooped up the little guy in his hands before too much damage could be done. Snickers bit his hand in protest, but not hard enough to do any real damage. Felix flinched from it and met Seamus's eyes. "I-I'm sorry, Seamus..." He whimpered through his tears.
(( and so returns the drama queen, cry baby... with his wild pet ferret.... ^.^ ))

ooc- Sooo I could have sworn that I posted? But now I see that maybe I made that up haha. Sorry!
A small smile flitted across Seamus' face when he saw Anna's. She was mad she hadn't thought of the spell first. When she went on describing her day, the smile grew wider. "Anna my pet, you were sorted into the wrong House. And certainly, not good at hiding your charms around me." Angelica piped in, revealing what she'd have done, and he couldn't agree more. "They start to think they can get away with anything. Chaos. That's what happens when the younger students think they can act however they please." That fact was one of the reasons Seamus was a Prefect.
"Where are my manners?" he purred, as the girls introduced themselves. "Terribly rude. But I'm sure you can find it in your hearts to forgive me." He would have said more, but a scream in the distance stilled him. He cocked his head to the side, listening, his black hair falling like a curtain of curls against his shoulder. Silence lingered and he shrugged. Then it came again. No! In an instant, Snickers was upon him, struggling to gnaw his toes off through the leather of his shoes. "Oh bloody hell!" He called out, shaking his leg to dislodge the animal. Felix sped up behind him, snatching the thing back and receiving a bite for his trouble. Darkness clouded Seamus' face for a moment. "It might suit you better to drown the thing and start over. I'd volunteer to help." Now he sighed. "It's not quite your fault. But if you intend to keep him you'd best learn to control him. "

Angelica nodded once as Anna introduced herself, attempting to smile. Though her lips curled up at the corners, Angelica could tell it wasn't genuine. She had given many a fake smile herself. Seamus commented on what Angelica had said about hexing the younger student, when a sudden shout made its way to her ears. Turning her head to look behind her, Angelica saw the Hufflepuff boy from the night before running. He seemed to be chasing something, a fact that was confirmed for Angelica when he fell spectacularly, his face landing right in the ground. Angelica smirked. "Ouch," she said, with a small hint of laughter in her voice.
The Hufflepuff stood and began running toward them once more, as the ferret immediately attacked Seamus' feet. Angelica sneered at it and took a step back, hoping it wouldn't go for her shoes as well. She would be forced to kick it away, and while she didn't particularly like the ferret, she didn't want to hurt it. Seamus spoke to the Hufflepuff as he approached, crying and apologizing. Seamus is entirely too kind to that boy. Angelica glanced down her nose at him, but didn't speak. She had nothing to say to him. She began to play with the hem of her skirt; she hated having nothing to do with her hands, and the lack of conversation did nothing to help distract her.

Shaun stretched and made his way through the entrance hall to the large front doors of the castle. He yawned a little as he exited the school. His eyes swept the grounds as a soft breeze blew around him. It was a bit chilly, and Shaun was glad he had worn his sweater over his uniform shirt. He adjusted his tie around his neck and strode forward, looking for students he knew or could get to know. He hadn't gone terribly far when he saw two Slytherins, a Ravenclaw, and a Hufflepuff. He recognized Anna, the Ravenclaw, and Seamus, one of the Slytherins, as prefects, but the other Slytherin and the Hufflepuff were strangers to him. Striding over to the group, he waved a little to Seamus and ran a hand through his hair, as if to make it neater, but only succeeded in making it more messed.
"'Ello Seamus, Anna, how're you two doing today? And you?" he asked, directing the second question to the other two students he didn't know by name. He grinned at the four other students, then realized the Slytherin girl was scowling and the Hufflepuff boy was crying. Grimacing a bit, he looked at Seamus as if to say What's going on here?

Ąиďŗєå Ŀ. Ĉσппöłў♣ ♣ ♣ Andrea Connoly wandered herself about, rather bored. She wasn't really aiming on being anywhere soon, since she had a lot of time to spare. Running a hand through her short yet cute hair, Andrea's green eyes flickered around looking for any familiar people or things to talk to. A frown made its way over her petite face, surely someone would not be preoccupied with studying. Drea decided, instead of continuing down her way, to take a seat under a tree that stood nearby. The Slytherin girl walked over to a big maple tree and sat down on one of the uprooted roots, that stuck out as though it was meant for sitting. She looked over the peaceful, serene area in front of her. It was lovely, as though the land wanted to be photographed or painted. Andrea closed her eyes for a moment, letting the 'scape escape her view for a moment. It was the last year at Hogwarts, what a great experience it was and had been.Andrea would miss everything and everyone at Hogwarts, maybe even the teachers if they had been detention-free. Her frown had slipped away and been replaced with a combination of a smirk-smile. Opening her eyes once more, the emerald looked about one more time. Had they laid their self on something? Indeed they had! Not too far away was a small group of students, and Andrea stood up. She started off to the gathering of students, recognizing certain faces. Seamus, of course, Angelica, and Felix. Wasn't Felix Makala's dat-? 'Drea stopped the the though, she would spare the younger girl from too much humiliation. Upon getting to the students her voice called out, a small hinge of amusement in it when she saw Felix with his ferret. "Well Hello, seems everyone prefers this space." She said lightly, now a bit of sarcasm lacing up her tone. ♣ ♣ ♣
