It's official: the opening ceremony at the start of the new Shinigami Academy school year will be on the 4th of September 2009 (the exact time will be anounced once we get more members and after I got my time table in RL school biggrin )
Until then, if you have posted your profile already and it has been approved by the crew, you are allowed to mingle in the Common Grounds sub-forum. (your characters are waiting for the doors of the Great Hall, in which the ceremony will be taking place, to open - you probably get the idea)

Crew Update

You will be promoted to crew right away. Now I need you to edit your profiles - add your zanpakuto's description, please (sealed state appearance, shikai, bankai, inner world, spirit etc....look at the Teacher's code).
However, the quest to find staff is still not over. Applications for 3 assistant's spots are still open, so don't think about it for too long and apply!
p.s.: Yes, we have two medics (and yes, the male is the nurse in this guild), because both had just awesome rp samples and we couldn't decide on just one. Now be grateful and give us some hot on-call room smex XD

Opening Ceremony
The Grand Opening Ceremony will start on Friday, 4th of September, at 22:00 CET [GMT+1] or 16:00 CST (Central US) [GMT-5].
However, the Academy Gates will open exactly 24 hours before that, allowing you to enter the academy and make your entrance post in the Main Hall.

Roommates
You can express your wishes as far as your roommate is concerned, and we will do our best at trying to fulfill them. Your roommate must be of the same house, and that's the only restriction (he/she can be the opposite sex as well). PM the head of your house for roommate requests.

Start of ClassesAs most of you have already noticed, the lessons are about to start. I will announce the next IC day at 9 or 10 o'clock CET tomorrow morning (which is in exactly 11-12 hours). I advise you to put your characters to sleep by that time, so that when I officially start the next day you won't have problems adjusting. You can use the table on this site to determine when the time skip will occur in your time zone: Time Zones (scroll down to examples)

It is already the morning before the start of the. The next time change will occur in 24 hours (10 o'clock CET on the 14th September 2009), with the first lessons starting.
Move your characters into the classrooms/training grounds before the teacher enters the classroom/training area. If you arrive late you will be treated appropriately (Solstice has a lot of room in her shed ^^ and some of the teachers are grouchy in the morning ^^).

THE WEEK IS BEING REPEATED DUE TO THE SMALL AMOUNT OF STUDENTS PARTICIPATING.
Dango students will continue with the first kidou lesson, everyone that wasn't present there last week, please come to the class.
Senbei are having the first theory lesson, any that were still locked in the hand-to-hand class have been released, so please come to the theory class #1.
