Waikiki KiKi walked along the beach. It was a wondeful day. The sky was blue and the water was too. Sill, she was bored. Sure she loved the new ocean and it's wonderful waves, but something seemed a bit missing. After a bit she light up with a smile knowing what it was.

The teen then darted off into the sky. She flew over the trees canopy until she saw it. The old lake. Sure, she still lived by it but she hadn't really been to it in a long while.

KiKi landed on it's beach and looked to the water. It wasn't as blue or as clear as the ocean was, but still it was just as nice. She then looked for the real reason she was there. A certain Naiad boy that lived there. He was her friend and she wanted to see how he was.

It was a beautiful day. Completely unconcerned about the storm clouds on the horizon, Zuri was underneath the waves and breezes, looking at certain clam shells and testing them out as objects he could use in his hair. With a broken piece of reflective glass as a mirror, the naiad stuck the top of a broken silver clam shell on the left side of his head near his ear, before changing his mind and moving it to the right.

Hm. Silver wasn't usually his color, but he liked the way this shell glittered in the light reflecting from the sun shining on the lake. Deciding that this was a good piece, Zuri began the process of tucking the clam shell into his hair without tangling his hair or ruining the shell in any way. Once he was done, he lifted the piece of glass to observe his work.

Aah, perfect! Now if only he had someone to show off the clam shell too. With a light sigh, he placed the broken piece of glass back onto the underwater rock he had gotten it from. Well, at least he could be proud of his own work.

Aysu would have probably been interested, if she wasn't so busy being lovey-dovey with her girlfriend. Sometimes, his siblings being snatched away made him feel a little bitter, if only because that meant they no longer wanted to hang out with him as much. Being the youngest (Okeanos didn't count in Zuri's eyes) could have it's disadvantages, which Zuri had become keenly aware of.

After lazily stretching out his arms and his tail, Zuri started his ascent back towards the surface, deciding to take a chance and see if anyone worthwhile was up there. A little distance from the shore, it was times like these where his new strengthed vision came in handy. Was that Kiki? Eagerly, he began waving his arms around to get her attention.

Waikiki KiKi scanned the water's surface looking for her friend. She wasn't a Naiad so she didn't know what she would do if he was too far underwater. The teen smiled hoping that chance would bring him to the surface.

After a few moments the girl spotted something. It looked like red arms. Was that him? She called out to see if he would answer, "Zuri?!" Her eyesight was as good as any normal Pae'il so it was harder to see.

The teen then got a great idea. If it was him then he would be making waves...and if he was making waves well then she could shape them. Kiki concentrated and caused the waves to look like little hands waving. She hoped that would do it.

Zuri?!

How could he hear that? While he would have thought more about it, he was soon distracted by the multiple hands reaching up from the waves to wave in his direction, and he laughed heartily. Yup, that was Waikiki Kiki alright. Happily, he darted under the water and streamlined his body to make his way over to her quickly.

In fact, he made his way over to her almost unusually quick, but Zuri Seabrook didn't seem to notice. He popped his head out of the water and waved cheerfully at her again. "I was hoping that someone I knew would be out here!" He wasn't particularly expecting it to be his good friend Kiki since she mostly stayed over at the ocean's beaches now, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise to find that she had left the ocean's beaches in favor of coming over to the lake.

"What brings you here?" Almost immediately after asking, he suddenly turned his head to the side so he could point out his makeshift clam hairclip. "I found this in the lake, and I thought it'd look nice in my hair! Don't you agree?" Zuri, a vain creature at heart, was almost always fishing for compliments at the moment...

Waikiki KiKi smiled once she saw that it was Zuri. What a stroke of luck that was. The teen didn't think too much more on that. In stead looked to him and his greetings. "Well, I wanted to see you acuturally. How are you?" She blushed a little that her whole point of going there was to see him and that she admitted it, but he was her best good friend why not admit it?

KiKi then looked into the direction of his hair. She cocked her head from side to side and then put her finger on her chin. "Well, I think that it does look nice. Now all you need are some bracelets to go with." She nodded as she then bent down to look for a few more seashells that matched.

She wanted to see him? That was a little surprising, usually he was the one who was trying to find her. Of course, it was quite the welcome change to be visited by the waters of the lake by his best friend. A soft smile crossed his face. "Glad you wanted to see me. I'm doing pretty good, actually; I've noticed recently my hearing seems to be getting better, so it makes me feel like I've got something to be confident about even though walking around on the surface hurts worse and worse."

Instead of walking onto the sands to join her, Zuri kept laying low in the shallow water, tail flicking around lightly on the surface. "Bracelets sound nice," chirped the naiad cheerfully, before he dunked his head underneath the water once again to see if he could find any more seashells that perhaps might look good on a bracelet.

He came up a minute later and set some of the seashells on the shore. "Here's a few that might make a beautiful bracelet. I'll look like a king with all the jewels I wear." Zuri snickered in delight, before pausing and suddenly realized he never really asked how she was doing. "Oh, and how are you?" He easily got swept up with dressing himself up, it seemed.

"That's good well, for the most part. Kiki was glad his hearing was better, but not being able to leave the water didn't sound that great. Then again she wasn't a Naiad so being stuck in water was different for her then it was him.

The mixed angel smiled and nodded at Zuri's jewels. "Oh yes, a very handsome king. Next you'll need a scepter or a crown."

"I've been good. The bar is all moved and done and now I've just been enjoying the surfing and shaping waves." The smiled warmly as she made a wave turn into a surf board. Almost like someone was surfing the small wave.

It was true, being stuck in the water didn't seem as particularly bad for him. However, most of his friends lived on the surface. The only naiad he actually knew was his pseudo-brother Okeanos, which really just mocked him and tried to find ways to destroy him more often than not. It was better to stay away from that psychopath, especially since that psychopath was an adult now...

"This does seem to be good weather for surfing and your ability. The waves are a little larger than usual, even out here on the lake," offered Zuri with a grin, before deciding to be distracted by his so-called jewels once again. He attempted to fashion them together using some seaweed to make a tropical bracelet before placing it on his wrist.

A scepter or a crown, eh? Well, his large seashell clip made a perfectly beautiful crown to him; he didn't want to hide it. Perhaps he should find a scepter... could be fun to twirl one around. "Hm, not exactly sure where I'll find a scepter 'round here," remarked the naiad, with a snicker.

Waikiki Kiki looked up at the sky and the weather that could be seen. Ture it looked like a storm was coming and that did always make the waves bigger and better. Even on the lake, as Zuri pointed out.

"I'm not sure either. Maybe on the bottom of the lake there might be something?" KiKi tilted her head at the water trying to see below even thought the water was far too murky for that.

"Hm, perhaps, but I've never particularly tried going that far down," replied Zuri, with furrowed brows. He hadn't seen many naiads attempt to go too deep into the lake, because it was rather dark towards the bottom as far as he could tell. Even Okeanos didn't make many attempts to go that deep into the center of the lake.

"Perhaps, but I don't want to particularly try going down there." Zuri was, admittedly, too nervous to make an attempt at swimming to the depths of the lake he had never seen. His home was expansive, sure, but he mainly kept to the top floor and not anything much further below. "I'll live without a scepter for now, I suppose."

Always conscious of how he appeared, Zuri reached up to his hair and started adjusting the seashell hairclip he was wearing again. When he decided that it looked even better than before (despite not really being able to see what he was doing), the naiad settled once again in the water, choosing to float on his stomach and watch Waikiki Kiki intently.

"Anything exciting at the Tiki Bar?" He was always interested in the outside world.

Waikiki KiKi nodded. She couldn't think of even attempting going down that far. Being an angel she wouldn't make it very far down. Even if she had her dad's air bubble. Still, she did wonder what it was like.

The girl thought about that for a moment. "Well, no not really. We had the grand opening and then that's about it. Maybe Great Hula Granddaddy will hold a Halloween event or something." He had before, but she wasn't sure he would.
