Apperance:
Very tall, Roughly 6'6" (Not sure what order the ' and " go in...) With silvery white hair that reaches just past his shoulders. He has golden eyes with dark shadows under them from an extreme lack of sleep. Caeles is almost deathly pale, which comes from his tendency to avoid sunlight whenever possible. Caeles is quite thin, but still powerful with wiry muscles. Normally has a slightly crazy and vacant expression and his eyes dart from place to place, rarely seen staying in the same spot for more then a few seconds. His clothing is generally varying shades of gray and black, and almost always baggy. When one is contemplating the reason of existence or how to create a semi-automatic toaster, one sometimes forgets the simpler things in life.. like shirts, leading Caeles to sometimes forget to put a shirt on, walking around with nothing but his pants until someone reminds him. However, when this happens is one of the few times anyone ever sees most of the crack like scars that cover his entire body, the one on his face always being visible.
In combat, Caeles normally wears baggy black clothes. Blood is less visible on black.
Accessories: Caeles wears a cape of deep red, the only exception to his otherwise neutral colour choices in clothing.
Personality: Caeles is somewhat introverted, rarely communicating with people unless it's necessary. He is also slightly crazy, talking to himself occasionally, but very good at what he does. Caeles doesn't like to leave something unfinished once started and is immensely curious of anything new he sees. He generally speaks in a bored and dull tone, but when it involves something he is interested in his voice becomes much more lively and even slightly crazy.
Caeles tries to avoid fighting, preferring someone else to do the work for him, leaving him free to observe the battle and analyze the opponent. However, if something that Caeles sees as his is attacked or in danger, he will act.
Bio/History: Caeles is a very reclusive person and as such, not many people know what he did before joining the Shinigami Academy as the head researcher. However, he was at first in the 12th Squad of the Gotei 13 before leaving to apply for the researcher position at the Shinigami Academy, for reasons known only to himself. There are some rumors pointing out that the time of his resignation from the 12th Squad was less then a week after whatever event left him with crack like scars covering his body. While these events happened extremely close together, Caeles has yet to deny or confirm any one theory.
Zanpakuto
Zanpakuto name: Infitai (In-fee-tie)
Zanpakuto spirit: Infitai is a giant of a man, towering well over 7ft tall. His skin is pale, though not to the extent of Caeles, with scars covering most of his body, virtually in the opposite position of Caeles'. With deep silver eyes and dark gray hair, Infitai's looks are amazingly similar to Caeles, though reversed, as if someone has negatized a photo. Black to white, Gold to silver... Wearing a crown made of solid stone and baggy clothes of pure white, Infitai looks almost like an ancient king, possessing a personality that demands obedience and a controlling nature. With his harsh way of speaking, a rough voice and an unblinking gaze, Infitai is a very intimidating figure.
Spiritual world: Caeles' spiritual world is almost colourless, the only thing even resembling a structure being the large clock face set into the ground, roman numerals of an unknown black stone and an unmoving hands giving the illusion of time itself being stopped. At the edge of the clock, the dull dirt covered ground slowly dissolved into nothingness, leaving just under two meters of solid land between the edge of the clock and the void on every side. The realm is locked in eternal twilight, the sun just dipping over the horizon.
Zanpakuto element: If any, Void.
Sealed zanpakuto appearance: Caeles sealed Zanpakuto is a shikomizue in the form of a tattered, but large black umbrella. The handle is roughly 10cm long and wrapped tightly with a black cloth. The blade concealed within the umbrella is roughly a meter long, but thin, barely making it past 2cm in width and solid black. (Shikomizue's are swords concealed within objects such as canes, walking sticks and umbrellas. Like Kisuke Urahara's weapon.)

Release phrase: Rend the void, Infitai.
Shikai: Once the release phrase is uttered, the shikomizue begins to dissolve, an unseen force eating away at the umbrella until the actual blade is revealed. Once this occurs, there is a small flash as the shikai is fully released, the blade changing from black to a gleaming silver as the blade enlarges, becoming a single edged zweihander. The zweihander has straight edges and a pointed tip similar to that of a katana. With the straight cross piece on the flat side of the blade and the diagonally angled guard on the sharp side are perfect for trapping and blocking an opponents blade, in that order. When his shikai is released Caeles' eyes turn silver instead of their normal gold.

Extundo (Repel, Violently) This ability is mainly defensive, but an intelligent user would be able to use its effect to damage also. This negates motion and reverses it, it is unleashed as a pulse, rippling outwards from the blade.. If a fireball is launched at Caeles, he would be able to use this ability to hit the fireball, which would reverse its motion and send it back along the path it came.
Signum (Seal) This ability is a mix of offensive and defensive powers. It negates energy and is launched as a beam. Should this beam hit, a golden glow spreads to a total diameter of 30 cm, freezing whatever is within it in time and space. Once the ability has struck, the seal degrades quickly, only lasting a total of 2 minutes, 1cm of the seal being lost every 4 seconds.
Pulsum (Banish) This ability is purely offensive. It negates life, or accurately speaking, the soul and requires contact to take effect. This ability, should it hit directly, can destabilize a soul, while a glancing blow would numb where it landed. When the soul is destabilized, it ripples for a moment, leaving the body vulnerable as nothing can be done while the soul is destabilized. This only lasts for a few seconds.
Bankai: When his Bankai is activated, Caeles is seemingly swallowed by a rapidly expanding void in space, varying shades of gray the only visible thing within it. The void once swallowing Caeles, will stay for a moment then vanish, leaving Caeles looking like Infitai. He also becomes almost completely serious, most of his absentmindedness and crazy habits vanishing. The blade will thin while retaining its length and a pair of golden scales will hover above and behind his shoulders. (See reference picture at top for sword and scales.)

Scindo (Rend) This ability is offensive. It unleashes a slash of negative energy that travels along a straight path. It travels at unbelievable speeds but can only ever deal minor slashes, nothing cause by this attack will ever be more then a nuisance.
Seniseco (Old Wound) This ability is offensive. It negates the healing of wounds and will reawaken previous injuries on the target, but will not deal new damage. From minor cuts to broken bones, anything once injured will become damaged once more if struck with this attack. It is aimed with Caeles' left hand.
Camur Verus (Bent Reality) This ability has limitless uses. It negates events. Reverting wounds, healing damage, restoring the dead that are not too long gone and being able to negate life itself. Such a powerful ability is severely limited in how long it can be used for though, a period of 30 seconds is only available once every 3 days and when the time limit runs out, Infitai automatically reverts to its sealed form, kicking the user out of Bankai and leaving them temporally immobilized.
Kidou: 1-40, 61 and 63
Abilities: Despite being a more scientific person then most shinigami, Caeles is an extremely talented swordsman, a master with both his Shikomizue and Zweihanders. He also has an almost godly capacity of reiatsu, able to cast a large number of his highest level kidou without tiring. His immense amount of reiatsu allows him to use his rather draining zanpakuto abilities a lot more then any other shinigami would. However, his reiatsu regain rate is unbelievably slow, requiring around 3 weeks before to return to max from an almost empty state.
