What do you think about them and what are your theories as to their existence?
Do you think think they exist? Or are they just stories?
If they do exist do they have any natural enemies? Are they even part of a food chain?
If they have enemies who or what are they?

I believe vampire's are just urban legends. stare You never know, I could be wrong.
If they WERE real, I'd not imagine them with powers, just people who have adapted to drinking blood on a regular basis.

ColetteCatastrophe sweatdrop I was kinda thinking more along the lines of the Dracula-type vampires but that works too. There are some that will tell you different, but a majority of the vampire community does not think these "classical" or "ageless" vampires exist.

The classical legends on vampires all come about from people's fear of death, all over the world the ways of becoming a vampire are very much the same and the ways of killing them are similar as well.
This is one reason I find vampire legends so interesting, you can look at legends from different sides of the world and they're very similar.

This is one reason I find vampire legends so interesting, you can look at legends from different sides of the world and they're very similar. There are some that are also very, very different. The common thing seems to be that they somehow feed on the living. That's very true. They all need to draw the life force from living humans to live themselves. Many drink blood as the most basic form for life force but there are others that 'drink' the energy or breath.

I know they are real (don't ask, I won't tell), but the theories we have on them are created for safety.
Do you think think they exist? Or are they just stories? Both. The vampire most of us know are fake. The real ones are very well hidden

Do you think think they exist? Or are they just stories? Likely there are some wanna-bes out there, but I know psychic vampires are real.
If they do exist do they have any natural enemies? Are they even part of a food chain? Probably above humans in the food chain. Although some have the power/skill/knowledge to defeat them.
If they have enemies who or what are they? Vampire hunters? I have a hard time imagining an animal who would be a worthy adversary of a vampire.

I am a vampire.
I am a Phsycic vampire ^^
I don't Know if there is Blood sucking vampires though...
Of course I think They exist. I am one.
Maii food is human food but in order to not go crazy or kinda like having a withdrawal I feed off of other people's energy's.
I'd have to say the easiest way to feed off people's energy is to get them to love you and then they'll let alot of energy out and you can feed off of it.
Well... A vampire's enemy would probably be fear.
i think it's everybody's enemy.

If they have enemies who or what are they? A lot of you seem to have over looked the best know enemy of the vampire here. The werewolf. When I began my research on vampires (when I was a wet behind the ears teenager XD ) I thought it was just Hollywood vampires that if applied to but since then I've found a couple of records of these two being enemies. I've also found that demons and fairies seem to have a dislike for vampires too.
