A small speck of blue and white rested at the edge of a water hole. Her paws, and bits of her fur, were as usual , caked in mud. The little lioness didn't seem bothered by it though. Nope, she actually seemed quite pleased with her self as she rested.
A load croak from a frog off in the distance sent her to leap up though. The fur end of her tail was fanned out , as was the fur on her back. The frog croaked again and Tahki relaxed.
"Just a frog.." Tahki giggled and laid back down on her side. Nothing wrong with a little squishy mud. At least Tahki didn't think so. The swamp was their home so the mud was like family in a way. Tahki rolled lazed on to her back and just rested, quite content with her self.

Dusan knew where to find his widly marked sibling; he always knew where to find any of his family, it seemed. So, when he wanted to go on an adventure, like today, he headed towards the usual spot he'd find Tahki. As he walked, the frogs croaked and it made him smile. The usual mellow male loved the music the swamps blessed them with. Frogs and birds, unusual noises that most others would be afraid of; he found it all beautiful and fascinating. Who would ever live anywhere else?
When he came across Tahki, he grinned a bit and shook his head. Covered in mud and letting it bake in the sun; of course! How did he see that coming? "Hey, Tahki!" He called out in greeting, moving to nose against her upturned tummy.
"I heard a rumor today! There's a male that's been wandering around the boarders. Wanna go see?" he asked, hoping she said yes. Dusan knew he couldn't go by himself; he was to much of a wimp.

Tahki looked up at Dusan and gave him a questioning look. Rumor? Stranger on the boarders? ADVENTURE? The half blue half mud cub turned over and was on her paws faster then one could blink.
"Of course!" She smiled at her brother and pawed at him playfully. "Where did you hear the rumor? Is the male a bandit of some sort? Is he a pirate? " The questions , always the questions. Tahki was excitable when it came to adventures.
The little blue cub continued to jump from side to side. She was more then happy that Dusan had found her out of all the other siblings with such fun news. He could have gone to any other cub but he wanted to go on an adventure with her. That made her happy.

Dusan grinned a bit and shook his head. He wouldn't tell her where he heard. If she learned that momma had told him, and told him to leave the other alone, she'd just get that much more excited. Why did he have easily excited sisters? With a snort, Dusan stretched out and chuckled.
"Well, lets get going!" He took the lead, since he was the one who'd heard the news, he knew exactly where to look for the stranger to their lands. Maybe it'd be the one momma longed for. He'd often heard her cry out a name in her sleep. A "Vestip", whoever that was. "Do you hear momma call out a name?" He asked, turning violet eyes to his sister.

Tahki looked at her brother and tilted her head. She finally shook her head no after a long moment of staring. What was Dusan talking about?
"Why would momma be calling out a name? " Then Tahki gasped, "She's not.. She's not working with the lizards is she? Our very own mother," And Tahki started to pout.

Dusan quickly shook his head, telling her she should quickly dismiss the fact he'd said anything. "Nothing, nothing. C'mon. The borders aren't to far away, right?" Honestly, he had no idea where the borders were for their pride. They couldn't sneak away this far half the time. Slowing down, the blue male frowned a bit more and then looked to the sides. Where were they now? Great.

Tahki giggled and followed after her brother. Momma wasn't taken over by lizards, thank god. The lioness had a pop in her step as she blindly followed after her brother. Blissfully unaware that he had no idea where he was leading them.
She stopped when he stopped and tilted her head , "Why is this the border?" She blinked. Didn't look like a border to her, though truthfully she hadn't really ever been by the border.

Why was it a border? Why would he really know? Shuffling a little, he looked back at his sister and rolled his shoulders. "I.. don't know. But maybe we can ask uncle when we see him next!" That wold be fitting. Ask a bigger male about borders, why they were so specific and what happened if they wandered outside of the border. Purple eyes glistened as he spotted a little lizard on a tree just a little ways ahead.
Without thinking, Dusan ran towards it, attempting to pounce it only to have the lizard slip away. So, he ended up headbutting a tree and sliding back in the muck of the swamp lands. "OW."

Tahki snorted and laughed as her brother slid down in the muk. Honestly, she wouldn't have done much better, but it was still funny. The lioness got to her paws and rushed over to her brother still giggling some.
"Are you alright Dusan?" She nuzzled at him . The humor was fading now and concern was on the rise. Tahki loved her brother, she didn't want to see him in pain. Even if it was funny.

The laughing hurt his feelings, but his head was hurting even more than his ego. Besides, it wasn't like he was trying to impress Suzu. Getting up and shaking himself off, he whined at the throbbing. "Just... a headache. Nothing.... to bad." He'd have a decent size bump on his head, that was for sure.

Tahki nuzzled gently at his bump. "Maybe.. we should go back home and let mommy take a look."
It looked pretty bad to Takhi. Granted, Tahki was a small cub who hadn't really been exposed to anything really traumatic happening to a lion cub in the way of an injury. Still, she was worried.
"Come on, lets go home, " She started off in the wrong direction.

But his injury wasn't that bad! He whined as he rolled his eyes at his sister and then blinked. "H-hey! You're going the wrong way, Tahki!" He called to her, moving to go tug on her tail a little bit. That was was not home. That way was... well... he wasn't sure what that way was, but if she wanted to go home, they would. "Follow me!" And he spun around and took off in the right direction.

Tahki giggled when he pulled on her tail. She thought it was a fun game and wanted to play too. So she ran up behind her brother and grabbed onto his tail, but didn't pull.
"Phowwow da weadah - " She managed with a mouth full of tail.

He yelped when she grabbed his tail and then turned around, watching her with his violet-pink eyes before huffing, shaking his head. So she wanted to play follow the leader? So they'd play! Taking off at comfortable pace, Dusan trotted through the mud, making zigzags so it would be difficult, but not impossible, to follow.

The following had been alot of fun, until Dusan started to trot. Not it was a game of hang on to the tail or face being separated. Tahki tightened her grip some on her brothers tail to prevent from falling off. Her grip was still where her teeth weren't about to puncture his tail though. Momma would have a fit if she bit her brother tail.
Splish splash splish splash, the mud went as the two zig zagged through. Tahki loved the mud, but right now she wanted to not be in it. This game was hard.
It took her body going into the trunk of a tree for the blue white cub to let go. The tree had seemingly come out of no where.
"Owwww..." Tahki was flat on her back no in the middle of the mud. "That games harddd..." She whined.
