Hera wandered ahead of her mate and son for an audience with the Queen. She figured now would be a good time to have the two of them be accepted into the herd now that Apollo was a few weeks old. He needed to be accepted into the herd since Tahmores wasn't a herd member. She figured that Yi would have taken care of that ages ago but it seemed that the pampered princess/heiress wanted to wait until the right moment to have him accepted into the herd. That time never came, however, since Tahmores left her to be with Hera. The brindled-grey mare sighed and glanced back to see if Tahmores and Apollo was still behind him. Hopefully the Queen would be up for an audience that day. Hera didn't want to delay this any longer.

"...why you worry, ute," a light voice could be heard saying. "I don't go by myself, and you know the Aeri slave Rowan would give his life to protect me. Even if he wasn't obedient, he's too scared of trie not to," the princess said with a slight giggle. It was true; the brindled Patriarch could instill fear in a great number of their herd, and in all the slaves. She knew he'd beat every single one of them if he were allowed to. Why he even got one, she had no idea.. But whatever, his decisions didn't matter to her in the slightest.
"But you know I don't want you going out of the herdlands without proper escorts, mimila," the Queen persisted with a sigh. Why didn't she understand? She was too conditioned to feeling safe and secure, because of their herd and because of her status. Maybe getting out to see the rest of Urin would be good for the young princess? She'd have to see how cruel everyone else could be, especially the Reya. But, oh Jala, she didn't want anything to happen to her dear daughter, so she merely sighed again and shook her slender head. "I don't want you going outside the herdlands again unl--"
"Ute, umm, were you expecting an audience..? Should I leave?" The pale brindled princess asked hesitantly, having finally noticed the trio that had turned the corner. Why hadn't she heard them coming? Hmm.. She must not have been paying very good attention. Oh well.
"No.." Savit replied, turning her greenish-brown eyes onto the pair and the foal and studying them critically. "I was not."
Regardless of her dam's answer, the young mare stood and stretched out her wings. "It's alright ute, I don't mind leaving, I'll come visit you later and we can finish talking," she offered with a bright smile. Giving her mother an affectionate nudge, the princess turned and, with a few beats of her wings, she was off towards a different part of the herdlands.
"So," the brindled claybank began as she turned her eyes away from the disappearing form of her daughter and onto the small family before her, "I can only assume you are here for one purpose. But, just to make sure we're on the same path here, would you mind informing me just what it is you're hoping to speak with me about?"
