Hi everyone! I'm curious to know if anyone would be interested in contributing to another [resonance] guild collection? The last time we made a demo reel and it's something we could totally put together but I'm also open to other suggestions and ideas. !2ice has suggested a calendar or a book; I'm not sure about the book idea but a calendar does sound like a fun idea. Any takers?

 rice saysheheh we got enough time to set up a 2010 calendar! we just need to get some task managers to get everybody in gear. also i think themes might be great or even better that we can collab with each other to take off some of the workloads!

I think it would be really cool if we did collabs, that way more people can get in on it :3~
What would we do with a calendar though? o3o;;

rice saysi'm sending pms to some of the old regs in the guild and some to my artists friends to make them join the guild and maybe help with the calendar hehehe.
i have a idea like making random quotes on weird days or even random lil chibis for the days on the calendar. heheh for example: 11/11 is pocky day hehe you give pockies to your partner, or 5/19 is black day... a day celebrated by eating jjajangmyun if you're single heheh its a korean thing.

Oooh~ A collaborative calendar sounds really cool! 8D It's a great way to get art happening and there's always fun/awesome things that arise from collabs. :3 Like Tirael said, with collabs we can get more people involved than just 12. biggrin

I wouldn't mind helping out with some of the holidays and stuff biggrin although I'm curious if the format for this calendar would be like for print or for web?

Since it's a calendar... it would make sense for it to be for print... but I feel like that would take a lot of organization, and money if it's to be printed, plus a lot of places don't let you make small orders q_q;;
As for the web... would it be posted somewhere and updated according to the months/days/holidays? q_q;;

calendars are always cool ideas. it's something that's useful and can still be kept. there are some places that might be cheaply priced for something like that...although you'd need to get a list of people who want to buy it so you can get an estimate of how many to print if that was the way you wanted to go. you could also put all the stuff together once it's finished, but only release the part of the calendar pertaining to whatever month it is. you could probably cheaply burn it on disks as well and mail them to buyers for a decent price as well.

rice sayswe got to get organized fast so we can start dishing out the duties for each team and stuff.... traditional print calendars have 13 pics (one extra for kicks?), we have to spread out the teams (a different team for every month?) and even out the work loads, and maybe even extras for the special day like lil icons. as for print cost maybe we can work on that after we get it done? heheh this way we can see whos willing to chip in and they'll just spread the profit for people that chipped in for the print? (just a suggestion), i know a lot of artists here have print experiences from cons and stuff (i'm a noob to that lol)

i'm somewhat of a noob when it comes to that too...although i had some experience at the place i previously worked. i was trying to remember the printer we used for some of our stuff since they were relatively cheap and shipped pretty fast.
