I try not to ask myself this question... because I know the answer... and if I start thinking about it... I'll be in for a long night curled up on the couch thinking for many hours about things that are best not thought about.

My childhood dreams have become distant echoes.
What once was a prayer and a hope for the future,
has become shattered remnants of a broken past.
All that is done is now behind me.
And all that is yet to be, awaits the chance of fruition.
I reflect on life, perhaps to realize that I was wrong.
My dreams are just dreams.
And so life goes on.
My soul is heavy and my heart long since broken.
But as I hold the pieces of myself in tear stained hands...
I see a future that is yet to be.
Though I may still wish in hope; these foolish things.
Piece by piece, with ginger care, I will work to build myself up again.

heart I just found a source of endless energy! No matter how much my heart gets burned, it's still there the next day. Now if only I could stuff in a rocket and light it on fire to go someplace nice... like say Saturn or something. heart
