First of all, Legends are very special ponies, filled with magic and wonder~! They are capable of producing babies of just about ANY OTHER pony species out there! O:
However, what species a particular Legend will produce is based upon what 'type' of Legend you have. As such... here is the breakdown...

Dream Legend:
Commons: Earth, Unicorn, Pegasus, Flutter, Breezy, Pixie, Sea Pony
Uncommons: Hippogryph
Rares: Mer-Pony, Kirin, Dragon
Super-Rares: Seryph
Dream Legend (Earth pony which grows to Dream Legend after adult stage)
Nightmare:
Commons: Earth, Demonex, Sea Pony
Uncommons: Vampire, Mummy, Demon, Hippogryph
Rares: Kirin, Dragon
Super-rares: Seryph
Nightmare Legend (Earth pony which grows to Nightmare Legend after adult stage)
In a Legend x Legend breeding, ALL percentages listed in the main Breeding Formula would be used for every baby. Whatever category a baby was rolled in, the colorist would choose a species from the appropriate list above for the baby.
In any breeding involving a Legend as a direct parent (where the other parent is some other species), the above will still apply, HOWEVER, the normal percentage from the other parent should be added to that category - giving babies a greater chance of falling into the category that the other parent comes from. Obviously, this type of breeding will push the percentages over 100, so you should just use the random number generator to roll for babies. ALSO, every baby in this breeding would have a 5% chance of growing to a whichever Legend type the Legend parent is after adult stage. These rolls should be done in secret by the colorist. See example below.
NOTE: Owners are allowed to "opt out" of the 5% Legend chance. If you wish to do this, just include that when you send in your breeding. For example, "I do not want any of these babies rolled for Legend" or "If any baby is a Mer I do not want that baby rolled for Legend"
FAQ:
Q - Can Legends breed together? What about the different types?
A - Yes, and no. Yes Legends can breed together but Dreams and Nightmares cannot, since they are fundamentally opposites. In a Legend x Legend breeding, the rolling would be done as described above.
Example!!
Nightmare Legend x Dragon (Legend x Rare):
40% Common, 30% Uncommon, 20% Rare, 10% Super-Rare + 20% Rare from Dragon parent. So...
1-40 - Common
41-70 - Uncommon
70-110 - Rare
111-120 - Super-rare
Then each baby would be rolled in secret by the colorist for the 5% chance to grow to a Nightmare Legend after adult stage.
