[ no title for this poem. ]
Can you imagine the look they give To their mother when another person is missing? They only know pain; But if peace were to come, Would they know to react?
Where is my brother? Come home All want answers But the answers that return are not Wanted.
Scared to sleep tonight What if I’m next? The mothers will pray When will this war be over?
i wrote it on the war in uganda. opinions on it ?

Here is a poem I stumbled across. 3nodding
"We wear the mask that grins and lies, It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,- This debt we pay to human guile; With torn and bleeding hearts we smile, And mouth wit myriad subleties.
Why should the world be otherwise, In counting all our tears and sighs? Nay, let them only see us, while We wear the mask.
We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries To thee from tortured souls arise. We sing, but oh the clay is vile Beneath our feet, and long the mile; But let the world dream otherwise, We wear the mask!
We wear the mask, Paul Lawrence Dunbar xd

Very moving cry I could feel the helplessness and the wanting. It made me interested in what happened during that war. wink

Awesome. You stayed on topic, there's a lot of feeling in it, and it flows nicely.
