______ Corbin is an original concept from a few years ago. He first came about as a quested Ghostling prior to the owner/art change but was unable to be made. Eventually, he was to be a Dux-Lamia at the second running of Anima Regnum but this was also unable to occur due to it closing down before the funds were collected.
In light of this, Corbin still wants to exist and it seems Anima Regnum is his way to do so, as it is coming back once again, even better than before.
He is a mix of original ideas and fandom concepts stemming from the franchise The Crow by James O'Barr. If a loved one is lost unjustly in a terrible act of evil, a crow from the world beyond will come to bring you back for revenge. This is the concept that stirs within Corbin himself; essentially, he is a mix of the bird that spurs the resurrectee on with their mission as well as the human who is being lead by the bird.

Essence ::A Crow Feather___
Omnivorous, adaptable and able to mimic other birds, the crow seems to be a 'jack of all trades'. Though they are found to scavenge carrion and other scraps, they are also adept hunters and will scout out live prey such as mice and frogs.
They can live just about anywhere, from country wilderness to towns and major cities. Typically, they are very social and gather in large nesting groups rather than going solo and it is rare for a crow to migrate for the Winter or Autumn seasons.
Often considered pests to farmers, they have been regularly hunted and driven away but they still remain one of the most widespread and common birds. Even though they are highly susceptible to diseases such as the West Nile Virus, they are an exceedingly strong and resilient species of bird.

Oil ____Gunsmoke:: A projectile firing weapon that has become commonplace in modern society, ranging from pistols to canons and everything in between. Most often used for military purposes, ie. war, guns have become synonymous with death and killing rather than protection.
Many view guns as a necessary evil, however, and often keep them in their homes. Like most things, without proper care, handling and safety, tragedy occurs and there have been many accidental deaths while guns were in use. It is thanks to this, however, that there is a split in terms of how people see guns, as many people believe them to be killing machines while others are adamant that only people kill people, not guns.
When fired, the barrel or muzzel of the gun becomes hot due to the speed and friction of the bullet passing through. Because of this, a great deal of fire arms let out smoke after being used, typically accompanied with the scent of gun powder which is a mix of sulfur, charcoal and potassium nitrate used as a propellant in most fire arms. The modern gun, however, uses what is called a smokeless powder which is neither truly smokeless nor a real powder.

Luxia Name: Corbin Gender: Male Essence: Crow Feather Oil: Gunsmoke
Hair: Black, messy and long. The top is short and frazzled, rather like this though it is much longer. At its shortest, it would be mid back but any length beyond that is acceptable. It is always worn down and doesn't have much volume to it, once it gets past the layered top. Eyes: A very bright and noticeable blue, the whites of his eyes often look irritated and pinkish. His pupils are small circles, as if there's always a bright light being shined in them, and a dark circle halo's them around the middle of the iris. Skin: Stark white, like China doll. Markings: In contrast to the white, Corbin has black lips; the corners of the lips tip up into a Glasgow Smile. Around his eyes are dark circles with mime-styled lines; the left one is longer than the right while going down the cheek but they are both the same thickness. Similar to this but with its own flair. Along his arms, as well, are red splotches, increasing in size and frequency towards his hands, which are nearly covered. It is though his hands are blood stained, but these are truly just markings on the skin. They end with the forearm.
Clothes: Difficulties withstanding, one can only describe a certain style of clothing Corbin would prefer. Black, simple, but not without chains. Something he would be able to show his arms off with but perhaps not shirtless. All very modern, with a general 'goth' appearance.
Other Black crows wings sprout from his back, looking a bit battered and as though they're missing a few feathers. His ears are black and blend easily with his hair, being just as feathery as his wings. His nails are a bit lengthy, sharp, but don't quite qualify as claws; just unkempt.
Personality: Forever stuck between calm and emotionally driven; Corbin follows a strict eye for an eye mentality and if he is wronged, he will wrong the person in as bad a way. There is a distinct balance in his beliefs; if someone steals a piece of bread from him, he'll steal something of equal value, but never anything more. Likewise, if someone punches him in the face, he'll punch them in the face just the same, but he will feel it's the other person's fault if it escalates. While this is ever present, he usually has a serene, almost haunting expression on and rarely breaks out of this appearance. His highs are just as bad as his lows; if he's happy, he's going to make you happy but if he begins spiraling out of control, he's going to take you down with him.
