This is just for fun, I'm not judging anyone. But I'm curious about what everyone likes to have for lunch, and whether they consider it to be good or bad for them.
Anyone?

I'll start here. I'm having egg salad for lunch. The eggs are organic free range (I know because they're from my pet chickens), so they're healthy. The mayonnaise lowers the healthy factor, but since I walk a little under two miles daily, I don't think that it does me any harm.
The worst part of this is the bread, since I make egg salad sandwiches. I'm using a multi grain bread though, so it's a healthier choice than say, white.

I know that I should eat healthier, especially since I could cook a meal for lunch instead of what I did today...which was take out a Hot Pocket and put it in a microwave.
Well, it was a acctually a Lean Pocket, so I guess it's less greasy than the regular kinds. It also had whole grain breading, which taste better than white in my opinion. Also, whole grain is better for one's health.
Although I really doubt that the Pocket is healthy, it just claims to be healthy.

A hot pocket or lean pocket won't hurt you, just so you don't have it for every meal or every day.
I often eat a similar pizza pouch, by Amy's Kitchen. They're addicting! XD If you're hooked on pouches but want to be a little healthier, check if your supermarket has Amy's frozen foods. They're organic. smile

If you avoid milk and animal products, that's vegan. It's probably the hardest lifestyle, since so many foods have eggs or milk in them. Homemade peanut butter, huh? Do you have your own grinder or do you buy it locally?

I have home grown grapes, this is the first year that I'll probably have enough to make some jam. Assuming that the deer and my chickens don't eat too many anyway...

I'm trying to eat healthier. Mostly what I'm doing right now is cutting back my portions and not eating anything too unhealthy.

You don't need to cut back too much on portions as long as you're exercising properly. I haven't changed my meals at all, I just alternate a little. If I have mac and cheese for lunch, then I have something healthier for dinner, and my walking helps me metabolize it faster.
Just to throw this out there - dieting usually doesn't work, and actually isn't very good for your body.
