THE TEMPLATE

Here's the template.

Senshi: Sailor Nova, Senshi of Stars

Name: Sidra Winters

Nicknames: Sid

Age: 17

Birthday: September 20th

Sign: Virgo

Blood Type: A

Fav. Food: Cheesecake, pop tarts, gummy worms, chocolate covered pretzels

Hated Food: Pickles, anything with rosemary in it, processed cheese

School: Meadowview

Hobbies:

I have a bucket list! -- Sidra's already died once, and hey, she's a bit on the fatalistic side of the tracks at the moment. She's not willing to die again without experiencing number 94 "Getting my first tattoo" or number 123 "eating an entire bucket of fried chicken" or number 232 "Getting arrested". Her list is frankly indulgent and childish, but she's mulish enough to want to do every little whim that she's put down in one of her journals (it has kitten's on it! In a basket!). She's aware of how little time she might have left, and how fast things can go south in her accidentally chosen field of work. She's still a wimp, and a lot of her bucket list deals with pie in the sky sort of things that she would have never done before but she just doesn't feel that she has the time to mull over what she really wants to do anymore. Her first tattoo will probably be really weeaboo. Like a Harry Potter scar. Or a Japanese symbol. Or a dolphin.

Patrol, patrol and patrol again -- She's addicted. Sidra's always taken being a Senshi pretty seriously, but even more so nowadays, what with what happened, and her talk's with Queen Serenity. Sidra honestly wants to find the Princess, not just because that's what's expected of her as a Senshi but because she feels like it's the reason for her second chance. Even though she only met her as a ghost, only a corporeal version of an imprint of the past, she liked her, and it's like she's lost a friend. Sidra also feels a large amount of guilt regarding her turncoat Negaverse days, and fighting lessens it a bit, because she feels useful. All Sidra wants is to be useful in this war.

Petting Astraea -- This is a full time job.

Gemstone: Emerald

Virtues:

Hey, you know, I love you -- Sidra wears her heart on her sleeve. She weeps at romantic movies, she wants everyone to fall in love, and ships practically every character on LOST with everyone else because she's confused by that show and probably at some point Ben will shack up with Walt. Or something. She's still pretty crushed over the whole Charys thing-- they both step lightly around the other-- and she's trying to move on but she's finding it difficult. Especially when Charys bops her on the nose just like she used to.

Responde S'il Vous Plait -- Need someone to get you coffee? Sidra will do it. Need a hand? Sidra's got two! Sidra is more than happy to be your gopher, your stalwart friend, your shoulder. She's all about being 100% there for you, in any capacity that she can, because emotionally she's sort of having a breakdown. Doing her best, 110%! is going to get her karma kickbacks, right? She genuinely wants to do these things, it's not some evil plan of Sidra's to gain your trust and friendship in her good girl pyramid scheme. She's overcompensating a bit, going above and beyond what anyone expects of her, but she craves your thanks, the pat on the head, the kudos. She just wants to be good.

I can be your hero, baby -- No matter the odds, Sidra is going to try and rescue you. THIS TURNED OUT BADLY IN THE PAST but she can't help herself-- Sidra never flees in Pokemon battles and has caught more Ratata's and Pidgey's than she cares to talk about. She's hyper noble and not the least bit tactical at all, just jumping in to battles and fights and arguments because SIDRA WILL SAVE YOU. You might not want to be saved, it's a bit nosy neighbour, a bit egotistical and a bit ANNOYING at times.

I may be stupid but... -- Sidra is kind. Sidra's the kind of girl that likes Astraea-- Sidra tends to see the good in most people, sees good in people that others might not see. She does pity people, she does befriend people that no one else will because she feels bad but then they turn out to be the best of friends; she forgot that she pitied you in the first place and now you are sweet and interesting to her. Sidra's naive and young and just wants to love and be loved but is damn afraid of rejection. She's been there, done that, still hurts about it-- and is still friends with Charys. Sidra really doesn't take no for an answer, even if she isn't trying to connive you in to doing ANYTHING-- she just thinks that an apology will soothe all ills in time.

Flaws:

I leave you all my precious things -- Sidra doesn't much like to think about death but it seems to follow her like a shadow everywhere she goes. She's obsessive about leaving her family and friends with loving words before going off to battle, sending inane "i luv u" text message spams to everyone that she associates with. She sends them so often that they don't really mean anything anymore, just a fatalistic heads up of "I may die tonight!". She has a living will. She's a worry wart with guilty tendencies and has trust issues-- she just can't go on a simple patrol without reminding herself that tonight might be her last. She'll stop patrolling to send clingy text messages in case they missed her first one, or her second. Or her third.

If I close my eyes -- Well. It's just easier if she doesn't. Sidra's not sleeping well, not at all, waking up with screaming, horrible nightmares. She doesn't remember a lot of what she did in the Negaverse and that makes it worse. It's hard to confront and accept what you don't really remember. She is fraught with guilt, has panic attacks when she least expects them, sometimes for things that make sense, like battles, and sometimes things that are everyday and normal. She'd rather patrol at night, every night, staying out longer and longer, desperately trying to tire herself out enough to fall dead asleep. Forcing herself to patrol makes her panic more, and she won't see a doctor, believing that she's going to "get over it", just needs to focus more, fight more, be better. Do more, be more-- Sidra's not coping at all.

I'm paralyzed -- Sidra rushes in to battles without thinking, and often she's confronted with youma, and she dusts them with little effort. They're not a problem. When Sidra rushes in to a battle and finds herself up against a Negaverse soldier? She can't move. She's terrified, she panics, she has to put her head between her knees. She's absolutely useless against them, though she is more than powerful enough to take most of them out. Astraea will bite her if she tries to go out alone-- she's died once already, and she gets panicked even considering that happening again-- but Sidra has so few ties that she's left having to call Charys up to patrol with her. Charys doesn't like to patrol very often (AKA NEVER) and Sidra will usually end up panicking over at Charys'; but at least she's not dead on the streets. Again.

Temper, Temper -- Sidra's a bit snappish at the moment. Irrationally angry at the most idiotic things, like no red jello in the cafeteria, or someone recording over Grey's Anatomy, Sidra will sit and stew at the object of her anger until she lashes out, usually at an unfortunate tertiary entity who happens past her at the wrong place, wrong time. She argues with people all the time but isn't smart enough and too ANGRY to form her sentences clear enough to "win" arguments. She tends to bicker, and its worse when she's upset, and usually THE worst when she's about to panic. She yells at Charys and then sends her awkward "sorry" texts, and then gets mad at her again when she doesn't text her back.

Challenge: Welcome to Fantastic Destruction! (lol its still so bad and hilarious)

Attack #1
NAME: Fallen Star Destruction!
[What it does] She makes a large star in her hands and it explodes, showering the enemy with nasty little shooting stars.

Attack #1a
NAME: Fallen Star Obliteration!
[What it does] Bigger star shaped beams, less than before, pulse in to the ground. They shadow on the ground before the attack so there is a chance to get away but are HIGHLY DANGEROUS if you are inside the vicinity.

Attack #2:
NAME: Quantum Pulse!
[What it does] EXTREMELY uncontrollable and dangerous attack; a star appears in her hands and shockwaves pulse out from it. It's a very small, dense implosion that mimics a supernova. This attack has gotten away from her before, and she doesn't like using it. Takes an ABSURD amount of energy, and is knocked out completely if she does it at full power. Effective for only seconds but it's so highly dangerous that THAT IS ENOUGH TO KILL YOU DEAD.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/spiderflower/senshi/nova-dark-cert.jpgSenshi: Sailor Nova, Negaverse Senshi of stars

Name: Sidra Winters

Nicknames: Charys is determined to call her Sid. She hates it.

Age: 16

Birthday: September 20th

Sign: Virgo

Blood Type: A

Fav. Food: Cheesecake

Hated Food: Pickles

School: Meadowview

Hobbies:

Loafing Around -- Without an alter ego, Nega Nova tends to spend a lot of her time catnapping when not terrorizing the population. Teleporting tires her out, and with all the kids in school most of the day, there's not much for her TO do. She loves to ******** with Nealite though, and will whenever the chance comes up. Her favourite napping spot is on the throne, as annoying as that is.

Oh, still my beating heart -- Nova is addicted to romance novels and will twist Hematite's arm until he embarrassingly orders her romance novels by the truckload from the local library. She ignores his cries of how unjust she's being and just pecks him on the cheek.

Gemstone: Emerald

Virtues:

Sweet Nothings -- Nova is prone to patting the Lieutenants on the heads after a beat down by Charonite. She definitely believes that you catch more flies with honey, and will go out of her way to be nice to most of the Negaverse, if only to ingratiate herself on them. She's the soft voice in the shadows, congratulating victories, no matter how small, rekindling fires in the Lieutenants.

I'll be your shoulder -- Nova is still keen on listening to your problems and helping you to solve them but beware-- nowadays, most of her answers involve smiting and inflicting some sort of pain or torture, directly. No more waffling around or waiting, if there is a problem she WILL fix it, no matter the consequences.

I'll wear your banner over my heart -- Still, and always, a hopeless romantic, Nova is quite determined to put people together for her own personal gratification. So what if half the time its Nova x some random lieutenant? Its still completely the most romantic, ever.

I'll walk over these hot coals -- She will follow orders willingly, and as perfectly as she possibly can. She'll thank you for the orders, and trusts that you have her best interests at heart. And when it involves Charonite, "best" and "interests" don't really come in to play unless its his best interests. But Nova still blindly trusts him to point her in the right direction.

Flaws:

I'm just not ******** happy right now -- Black black heart. Nova is mad and pissy and petulant, and just wants Sailor Nerissa to go crawl in a hole and DIE. She'd gleefully dig that hole and add some spikes for good measure, because she is definitely a spiteful b***h that fell hard for a girl that just wasn't that in to her. She still half hopes that if she captures Sailor Nerissa and corrupts her too, that they might ttly be soulmates. Evil, evil soulmates.

Danger is my middle name. Screaming idiot my first. -- Her emotions rule Nova nine times out of ten, and it doesn't take much to set her off. Mention Sailor Nerissa? Pray to god that she's in a pretty good mood or you might find yourself lacking in the groin department. She has no thought for saving her own skin, not one iota, and will throw herself in to danger as long as its going to help achieve her ultimate goal. Making Charonite happy with her. Tall order there, honey.

Still Just a ******** Child -- Nova still doesn't really get that the Negaverse is bad, and out there to kill and maim and torture. She completely, and totally, believes that Charonite has a reason for everything that they do, and well. She's bad too? So why in the hell would she think otherwise? She still believes in kissing and making up, small wonder why she's made out with half the Negaverse.

If I can't have you, what's the point? -- Powers sharpened to a brittle edge by her transformation, or fall, to the dark side (heavy breathing), Nova still finds it a little hard to swallow that she could be regarded as something vile and terrifying. Even when feeling indestructible a part of her still questions her strength, and whether or not she really deserves any praise she might garner.

Challenge: So I have fallen, and so must you fall.

Attack #1
NAME: Dark Star Destruction.
[What it does] She makes a large star in her hands and it explodes, showering the enemy with nasty little shooting stars, black as pitch.

Nega Sub-attack: Her billowing scarf is a handy dandy choking device!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/spiderflower/senshi/nova-cert.jpgSenshi: Sailor Nova, Super Senshi of the Stars

Name: Sidra Winters

Nicknames: Charys is determined to call her Sid. She hates it.

Age: 16

Birthday: September 20th

Sign: Virgo

Blood Type: A

Fav. Food: Cheesecake

Hated Food: Pickles

School: Meadowview

Hobbies:

Journal Writing -- A more precise name would be journal buying, as Sidra never seems to find the time to actually write in her journals for more than a night. She has all the intention in the world to do it, she thinks it will be good for her, but it just never happens.

Busy Schedule -- Possibly not entirely a hobby, Sidra makes use of her Blackberry far more than her aforementioned journals. Somewhat of a workaholic, when she's not in school, tutoring, candy striping or fighting the Negaverse, Sidra will try to pencil you in- does breakfast on a Tuesday sound good? About 4 months from now?

Lock Smithing -- A very strange hobby, Sidra knows, but it soothes her. Probably shouldn't mention to Charys that she knows how to pick locks and make skeleton keys...

Gemstone: Emerald

Virtues:

Kind -- Sidra is the type of girl you'd want to have as your Dr. if you were terminally ill and you needed someone to break the news to your family. She can't help but to talk softly and comfortingly, especially if the news is as horrible as a B- on your Math midterm.

Empathetic -- Always willing to lend an ear, Sidra is often shouldered with a lot of emotional burdens by her friends, family and absolute strangers, unfortunately. She's a great believer in the art of listening, and will stop what she is doing just to hear whatever is troubling anyone who needs to talk.

Idealist -- If the world was full of fluffy bunnies, rainbows and unicorns, Sidra would possibly be the happiest person in the world. She doesn't want people to feel pain, or suffer in any way.

Trusting -- Sidra has a lot of trust and faith in people's good natures. Tell her just to trust you? She will, and you will be responsible for what happens when you fall of the roof. I'm talking to you, Aladdin.

Flaws:

Emotional -- Sidra definitely leads life with her heart not her head, and often it gets her in to trouble. Often described as melancholy, Sidra spends far too much time dwelling on emotions and problems that she cannot control.

Reckless -- When Sidra is not melancholy, she often throws herself righteously in to fights and debates that are usually not about her at all and gets her in to a whole mess of problems. She's a loose cannon, especially when fighting.

Naive -- Sidra believes that everyone has some good in them, even the most hardened serial killer. Sidra is hard pressed to believe there is such thing as true "evil" in the world, even though she is confronted with it often. She would take candy from a stranger, or follow them to their car with the thought of "new puppies!" on her mind.

Worthless -- Sidra doesn't entirely know how she made it to the Super stage, and believes she hasn't really earned it. She thinks very highly of others, but not as much about herself, and considers herself a weakling that has to depend on others. She does tend to put herself down.

Challenge: I am Sailor Nova, Senshi of the Stars!

Attack #1
NAME: Fallen Star Destruction!
[What it does] She makes a large star in her hands and it explodes, showering the enemy with nasty little shooting stars.

Attack #2:
NAME: Quantum Pulse!
[What it does] You don't really want to know. Like. You REALLY don't want to know. Like. Life as we know it could cease to exist sort of deali-o.

How did she get in this mess? Sidra couldn't remember. It was not that she literally couldn't remember, more like she had done this so often that she was sort of hazy on the details of her "awakening". Cute name for something that completely effed up her happy little life on a regular basis. Her grades were slipping, she was inattentive and vaguely aloof to people who had once been the firmest of friends. Everyone had mumbled that she had changed, either in her hearing or out of it, but it still got back to her. Her family had sent her to therapists, put her on pills, grounded her. Nothing was working, and Sidra knew that the hastily stopped conversations and shared looks were regarding her and her strange new habits. It was funny, how everyone was taking this as a new development, as if Sidra was suddenly taking drugs and everyone had noticed at the same time. Sidra didn't have the heart to tell them that she was just overburdened with recent developments, and that this was not new. She would get used to her double life eventually. Again.

At the moment, it was a little after midnight, and she was making her rounds for the night. There wasn't really an assigned route, the Senshi were not even close to being that organized, but Sidra worked at it diligently, as if it had been assigned to her. Sometimes she came across new Senshi, and when they asked her how long she had been a Senshi, she quietly demurred that it had "been awhile"; most of the others had taken that as if she meant that she had been doing it for a few months, and had just clapped her on the back and wished her luck. Sidra knew that they regarded her as a failure, all of them did; she had never been in any large fights, never destroyed property, nothing to make her presence known, nothing that should have led to, well. Her current situation. All she did was diligently wander around her home, hoping that she didn't run in to anything too bad, and most nights it worked. Every once in awhile she would come across a youma, but it was usually terribly weak, and Sidra barely had to gesture at it before it became dust.

Truth to be told, Sidra couldn't remember when she had first become a Senshi, it was that long ago. If she thought long and hard about it, she thought that she was maybe five or six, but her memories of those days were hazy and hard to trust. She could never bring herself to ask her family if they noticed anything strange about her as a child, because of how they currently regarded her; no need to give them more fuel for the fire- she knew they were currently contemplating having her institutionalized, from snippets of conversation she had overheard. Sidra's therapist had cautioned her that she was working too hard, and she had reluctantly dropped debate and her weekend volunteering, but that had led to her having more time to mill around town, and more time to be accosted by wary youma. Something about their recent movements concerned her, as they were appearing more and more often around her place of residence, though they didn't talk much, just tried to kill her, mostly. She couldn't bear the thought of asking the other Senshi for help, knowing that they would laugh at her, so she just worked harder at keeping her area clean, acting alone and feeling very much like a failure.

So when that weird cat showed up, calling herself Astraea and doggedly hounding her to take a new brooch, Sidra merely thought that everyone was getting a power up, no need to single out lonely little Sidra. Strangely enough, at the time she was the only Super Senshi, though Sidra kept so much to herself that she had no idea. She hadn't seen the cat since, which only affirmed her idea that she was useless as a Senshi, though her dusting efforts were going swimmingly. Even though she had been a Senshi for years, she had never really told anyone her Senshi name, youma or otherwise. She was too self conscious to bother with naming her attacks, or yelling out a battle cry. She was the silent duster, the bane of youma, strong and weak, the victims of a senshi lacking in confidence.

Sailor Nova, Senshi of the Stars- she didn't deserve that title. She didn't deserve any of this, but it seemed that her destiny was squarely within being a Sailor Senshi.
