I have a few programs that I compose on, from which I can render midi files. I'm sure nobody could ever find any practical use for them, but it's how I spend most of my time anyway, and I figured someday someone might just be interested. xp

I use Cakewalk myself... I mean, it's not great but it works pretty well and is pretty easy to navigate.
I'll stick to my straight up trance compositions though. Woohoo for FL5.0

And, as I have very high standards for myself, they all sound too generic. So I just used it to dissect songs I liked to play 'em on the piano. cool No, I haven't. How is it ridiculous?

However, next time, remember the guidelines for posting in the GD/ED discussion subforum.
Thankee.
I made a rendition of Clocks with a friend on his MIDI program. It was fun, but I still don't really understand how he did it. neutral

I love music, but have always been afraid to compose, until recently... when I just got a great idea and started working on a piece... but I don't have any programs... what program would you guys suggest? Is there one that's either free or not expensive (Finale is waaay too much money~!)
