To corner him we could just shock him with lights and while he is down grab Belzenef. Catnip? Well they do worship cats so I guess it might work. Maybe cat toys as well.

or maybe you could replace the door to his club with a sliding glass door

Sliding or revolving? And I am not sure how ease it would be to do that to his cape. Perhaps unravel it by holding onto a cut portion when he runs from the light. Hmmm. Do you thing he does after string?
