Lola giggled as she watched her sister, Sally, dance for her. Lola loved that her sister was so quite and nice. She was pretty sweet, but not quiet. "You are too funny, Sally!" She said after the little dance was over.
Sally smiled and wobbled over to her little sister. It was nice having a sister. Sally never felt lonely anymore. "Thanks." She said and did a small bow. She was trying to entertain her sister and make her happy, Sally loved to make others happy.

Hailie walked into the store with her 'little friend' in her backpack. She scanned the shop, irritated that the staff that she met the last time she came there were not to be seen, but she did see two other little things. They didn't look like her ferment, but they were around the same size and most certainly were from the shop. She set her backpack down and fished the koala-like ferment out of her bag. "Hey, there! I found some red rope in your bag of mysteriousness!" He, somehow, wrapped a couple of pieces of red licorice around himself. Hailie sighed and carried him towards those two little things. Maybe he could play with them while she waited for the staff to come out...or back.
Koala felt himself being carried by the scruff of his neck. He had the feeling that Hailie didn't like the fact that he messed with her rope. Well, she must not have been bothered by it too much because she didn't yell at him or anything like that. She just set him down on the counter next too two other little ferments. He was dropped a couple of inches above the counter and landed with a small "oof".

Lola turned to the new ferment dropped by. "Hi! I'm Lola and this is my big sis, Sally." She looked him up and down. He was a koala, neat!
Sally smiled and bowed to the newest arrival. "Hello." She was nice, but quite. Now that Lola was here Sally spoke less and less. She didn't have to, because Lola would do the talking for her.

Koala struggled to get up on his feet. "Hi! Nice to meet you both! My name's Koala's March, but Hailie calls me 'Koala'. So, I guess you can too!" He paused for a minute, debating whether he should bow like Sally had done or just continue talking. He decided to bow too. He paused again. "Um..." He turned around and gestured to the uninterested lady that had taken a seat next to him. "That's Hailie. She's got a monster in her house and she's got red rope in her bag." He gestured to the licorice tangled around his body, which he would attempt to remove later, then stared at both of them. They looked so different that Horsey or himself. Sally seemed to have a fish stuck inside of herself and Lola seemed to be holding herself up without any feet! So many questions to ask....

Lola watched and listened as the ferment went on and on. He was a talker. "Wait, did you say monster?" How could his caretaker have a monster? She just didn't want to believe that. "Ours doesn't have anything like that."
"Rope?" Sally wasn't too worried about the monster. What if it is a kind monster. Don't monsters have rights too. She smiled politely. She wasn't sure what else to say, but that was Sally all right. She looked at the girl and then to Koala and wondered if he would elaborate on the monster.

"Yeah! It's a big, black monster! It's got flappy ears and a lonk tail aaaannndd a pair of brown eyes annnnd it walks like this!" He got down on four legs and walked around in a circle, then stood back up. "It's about thiiiiis big!" He stretched his stubby arms up and down as far as they would go. Koala's thoughts raced through his head. "It's not as big as Hailie though. She's gigantic! And it tried to eat me once, but it couldn't 'cause I was too fast for it! ...I think Hailie keeps it like a pet...'cause it never tries to eat her. It's really nice to her and stuff, but I think it's going to eat her 'cause it likes to lick her alot."
He looked back down at himself. "Uh, yep. It's rope and it smells good. There's a lot more in Hailie's bag. I only got two....but I can't...get'em off." He tugged at a piece that was pressed against the other one, forming a 'X'. Koala was beginning to grow bored and wanted to know more about his new friends. "So, what does your giant look like? Where do you guys live? How come you guys are sisters, but you don't look alike?"

"I wouldn't like that. Unless...is her monster worth anything?" Lola was prove to things that were unique and rich. She wanted to be rich more than anything. She hoped that would happen someday. "It likes to lick her?" She wasn't sure she liked that idea.
"Yu want help?" Sally said timidly. She was quite and kind and liked to help everyone. "Spooky is blond and wears glasses. She's somewhere." Spooky usually hung out reading while at the GoGo bar. "We live in a doll house in her room." She loved her blue room, Lola's was purple.

Koala did a 360 and looked around the shop(as far as he could see anyway) for the blonde lady with glasses. He wanted to find her if she was here, but didn't really see anyone else besides Hailie and his new friends. That disappointed him a bit. He pondered for a minute, then shrugged. "I dunno." He turned around to ask Hailie. "Uh, Hailie? Is the monster worth anything?"
"It's not a monster. It's a puppy." Hailie had her eyes locked on the kitchen door, but was tuned in on the little things' conversation. "...and even if she is worth anything, I'm not going to sell her, if that's what you're thinking of doing." she lamented with a bored tone.
Koala turned back around and faced Lola. "Hahaha, I guess that means it-I mean, she's not worth nothing... what would you do if she was worth something?" He looked at Sally and smiled. "Yeah, I don't think I can get it off by myself."

"She's in the bathroom." She said as she watched Koala look around the shop. Spooky then emerged out of the door with a girl on it. She smiled and then sat at the counter. Lola then turned her attention back to Koala, "I wasn't going to do anything. I was just curious. I figured a monster would be expensive...maybe not a puppy. Unless...it's a rare kind of puppy? Like a labradoddle?"
Sally wobbled over to Koala, "I can help." She reached out her stubby arms and grabbed a hold of one of the ropes. She tugged and tugged until it came off. "There..." She said as she kind of fell back as the rope released from his fur. "Did it hurt?" She hoped not. She didn't want to hurt him.

Hailie decided to answer before Koala could say anything stupid. "No, No. She's just a little mutt. Nothing special." Although she was sure that the puppy was part labrador...She noticed a woman that came out of the restroom. She didn't look like part of the staff, but who knew? Maybe she was. "Hey." Hailie called out to the woman. "Do you work here?"
He stretched to and fro and twirled around to inspect himself for missing patches of fur, then Koala grinned at Sally. "Nope. I'm fine!" he replied, smiling broadly. He impulsively leaned over and hugged her. "Thanks, I would've spent forever trying to get that off myself!"

Spooky looked at the other person in the shop. She shook her head and then sat next to her. "No, I'm here with those ferments. Sally and Lola." She smiled down at the sisters and saw the little koala. "Oh, is he yours? He's cute!"
"Hmm..no too special then." She watched her sister and the Koala take off the rope. She giggled as it was funny to see. How did he get this sticky rope on himself...she could just imagine.
"Good, I'm glad." She blushed a little when he gave her a hug. She didn't get those often. She was too small for Spooky to hug and Lola had no arms. "You're welcome. What is that rope anyway?"

"Sadly, yes." Hailie felt her small hop dash into tiny pieces. Oh, well. Better make some small talk. "So..." Hailie started, trying to think of a topic. "When did you get your ferments?" She frowned a bit. Ferments was such an ugly word, but the little things themselves were not that hard to look at.
Koala laughed for a bit, then turned to ask Hailie what the rope was made out of, but she seemed a little busy with the big, blonde lady. So, he shrugged instead. "I dunno," he answered with a smile. "but it smells good, so I bet it's made of 'fun-ness'!" Then an idea struck him. "Ooh! Maybe it's yummy too~!" He picked up a piece and examined it.

"I got Sally, the one with the fish, in April. I got Lola, the translucent one, in August during the Tanabata festival. When did you get yours?" She asked as she watched the little guys play. She was happy that Sally and Lola were making a friend.
Lola watched as Koala decided to eat the rope that was around him. "I wouldn't do that..." Where had that rope been? Was it made for eating? She wouldn't eat anything like that.
"Is it good?" Sally asked, she wasn't as nervous about it as Lola was. She thought that if it was bad his caretaker would stop him. If it tasted bad he wouldn't eat anymore anyway, she was sure.

"Ah, I got the little dude the day after that festival. Seems like no one wanted him.." Hailie brought her attention back to their conversation. "So, anyway, are the two hard to take care of? Y'know, with them being so small?"
"Why so nervous, Lola?" he questioned. Koala took a bite, chewed it for a bit, then swallowed. He held up the piece of rope like he had found the Holy Grail and exclaimed, "It. Is. Sweet!! .....Do you guys want some?"
Hailie inspected the three ferments. She sighed. Koala was overexaggeracting things. It's just candy, she thought to herself.

"That's sad." Why woudn't someone want him? He was too darn cute. "Not really. They are both so sweet. They do take getting used to." She said about them being small.
"Well, I don't things like that." She liked the finer things in life, not rope that tasted sweet. "Eat it if you want to Sally." She said to her older sister.
"I will try it." Sally said, she reached over and pulled off a piece. She made sure there was no fur attached and then took a small bite to taste it. "That is sweet." She then took another bite with a small giggle.
