::This thread will likely contain spoilers. Now you've been warned twice::
eek I saw Inglorious Basterds yesterday...genius. It was fricken genius. Tarantino's best movie...in my opinion anyway (though Deathproof is my favorite). I walked out of that movie speechless.
::SPOILER:: The part at the end where Shosanna's face is projected on the smoke and her laugher fills the theater...oh my god....my mouth was hanging wide open during pretty much that whole scene. ::END::
Anyway, discuss.

I'm not a big Tarantino fan (fell asleep during Pulp Fiction...rewound it and nearly fell asleep again...), but I've heard pretty much everything about this movie and such and since many are saying it's his best, I'm willing to see it. But we'll see how that goes.

I thought it was great. The signature overzealous violence lived up to its reputation. It was also complimented nicely by all of the tension-holding banter.
And you just can't help but grow fond of Brad Pitt's character.

blaugh Yeah, though, violent as it was, I thought that it was just the right amount. Overzealous absolutley, but it could have easily been more gruesome and I think that would have spoiled it a bit. I'm not saying it wasn't violent, hell yeah it was. But I think it was just the right kind at just the right moments. 3nodding The power of the film wasn't lost in showers of blood and gore.
Honestly, I had a harder time watching when Brad Pitt stuck his finger in whats-her-face's bullet wound than I did during the scalpings. xd Though I did look away during the bit with the baseball bat.
