thefuzz222Quote: What type of roleplaying? fantasy? MahayrQuote: Medieval, as a rule. Its the environment I am the most comfortable in. Some fantasy comes with that territory, of course. thefuzz222Quote: Ooh sounds interesting... I usually rp in a Mideval Japan setting... one made up....(Ninjas) and the other historical fiction in japan....both based in manga that i read... my main character that i rp as is called Kyuutesuki Mittsame... Mittsame gathers chakra and places his index and middle fingers on his chest. He smiles and waves before muttering "Suna Shushin no Jutsu" and dissapears in a swirl of sand and wind.

LeonisQuote: He wanders in lashing his mousy tail. He looks around staring at this and that. "I see... I believe I shall take over this place... For you see I require something. I require the love of a fair maiden.. Perhaps I can trick the owner to come down to the underworld with me" He muses softly and near silently he looks around for the beautiful maiden to whom this area belongs. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame watches the mysterious stranger from a tree. "Hmm...now who is this....?" He grabs his cape, to prevent it from flapping in the gentle breeze. "He seems to be looking for the fair maiden of this land" He sticks his right hand into his vest and pulls out 3 kunais, one on each of the three middle fingers. "Lets wait and see if this person has evil intentions...." LeonisQuote: The man with very distict Mouse features leaned back against the tree his large ears picking up on the sound. He seems to pay no attention to the man but clearly and calmly states. "Who are you and why do you hide in the trees? Are you some new form of squirrel? Or should I make you such?" GlaciaIpsilQuote: Enters, not by poffing, not by magic, but just shows up. She has an odd smell of her unique, unheard of race and flickers her tail, standing not far behind Leonis. Her beak hangs open taking in the sight of the place. thefuzz222Quote: MIttsame jumps down from the tree landing in front of the person. "I am just a lowly shinobi (ninja) wandering through these lands..." He sighs and has a bored look on his face. "I am a human...not a squirrel....and no I would not like to become one" LeonisQuote: His ears turn twirling a small amount as he hears the faint fall of foot pads he hurms softly to himself. He calls out his voice soft and somewhat soothing. "And what pray tell are you."

pingpong867Quote: At the far side of a calm lake in the forest sits a normal girl, calmly contemplating herself in the reflective surface of the water. She holds a staff of Heaven in one hand, and in the other rests a pitchfork of the Underworld. She is bundled in tundra gear, as if expecting the next ice age to come around the corner any second. Perhaps it would. Anything was possible, after all.
The girl catches sight of a mousy man, standing near another person by a tall tree. She can't quite see the other. But the mousy man... she clutches her pitchfork tighter, seeing a matching one in his hands. She dares not walk over there, for fear of her life. LeonisQuote: He closes his eyes and plunges his pitchfork into the tree. The tree slowly is engulfed in a black mist which soon become many pair of black panties. "Hurm.. and why are you spying on me and commenting on my actions. My dealings have nothing to do with you and if you do not wish to raise my anger I suggest you leave me be!" His voice rising ever so slightly the veiled threat hanging in the air. GlaciaIpsilQuote: seeing the two pitch-fork holders, Glacia gives out a small cheep and hops int othe tree with a feline's graceful bound, landing with her talons wrapping around the bark of the tree and watches from above. This biata had not yet earned her wings, otherwise might fly off, but was watching and hopeful LeonisQuote: The mouse man turned around his ears perking even more as he looks up at the creature which just jumped into the tree. "And what are you?" his voice soft as he takes in the form his mind still concentrated on the ninja though. pingpong867Quote: The girl stands abruptly, seeing the black panties from what was once a proud, tall tree. Black panties from the Underworld! Truly the world is coming to an end! She thinks, backing away from the utterly terrifying scene. The staff pulsates violently in her right hand while the pitchfork remains cool and dead in her left. She wonders what would happen if she attempted to spear the mousy man from the Underworld with her staff. Not going to get that near to him, though, she tells herself. Rather, she plunges her staff into the water of the lake and watches as it changes into puffy pink cotton candy. Perhaps the color, added to the sugary sweetness, would help defeat the mousy man. So she hopes.

thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame suddenly turns around, staring at the lake." Dear god....what in the world was i thinking when i accepted this job....no where in the details did it say anything about Black Panties from trees or a Cotton Candy Lake..." He shrugs and walks torward the lake, grabbing a few large untouched pieces of cotton candy. He takes a bite out of one and nearly pukes from the sugar rush." Jeez there is enough sugar in this to keep a small army fighting for a week" thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame bows to the powerful stranger. "I am sorry if i have offended you... I was hired to protect this land... and i am suspicious of every unfamiliar person that i meet." He quickly bows again and starts to walk off. LeonisQuote: He smiles sensing the change behind him he makes his way backwards still looking at the odd creature before taking turning and doing a dive into the now cotton candly lake nibbling as the cotton candy moves to make a sort of net around him, supporting him.
He scrammbles out of the "lake" and make his way over to the low building with the hanging sing which porclaims the place to be an inn. Grabbing his pitchfork on the way of course. He smiles and mutters softly to himself "Hurm.. that tree looks better now that it will produce panties and bras and underwear as fruit." He gives himself a self-satisfied nod and heads towards The Masquerade Inn. MahayrQuote: Steps back to watch and listen from afar... not such a fair maiden is she, more of a mature and experienced woman, keeping care over the land and isles she has made a home for herself in - grateful for the friends who have joined her. pingpong867Quote: The girl cannot take the fear any longer. She glances around her, then plunges both her pitchfork and her staff into her heart. A dazzling light came forth from her body, and roses began springing up where her feet were. The vines twisted around her legs up up her arms, buds sprouting all along the sharp edges.

thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame bows Hello again Mahayr-san. MahayrQuote: Smiles, pressing her hands together as she also bows. Rising to regard him a moment, she then moves to her furs and kneels there easily, folding her hands in her lap. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame sits down on the floor crosslegged and starts to drink his sake. Tries to keep his balance."Jeez...Sake makes you really drunk" MahayrQuote: She laughs softly watching him as she pours a cup of tea from the always-kept-hot pot nearby, adding cream and sugars before pulling it to her lips to sip carefully. Well, yes, it would... go slow and easy, My Lord. We wouldn't want you passing out now would we? thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame puts his bottle of sake down. "You are right... ill get drunk once the clock strikes 12:00 to ring in the new year" He smiles, a slightly drunk smile but a smile nonetheless. "Would you mind passing me the tea?"

MahayrQuote: Setting her cup aside for a moment, she pours him a cup and passes it to him, smiling again as he slips it from her hands.Cream or sugar? Yes... wait until midnight and we shall toast together, perhaps. thefuzz222Quote: He bows before taking the tea. "I prefer sugar... but i have my own special sugar...very sweet stuff" He takes a packet out of his pocket and pours the contents into the tea. He slowly sips the tea. "Thank you..." MahayrQuote: Sitting back on her heels, she resumes drinking her own tea, wrapping her fingers around the warm cup and inhaling the familiar fragrance as she listens to him quietly. My pleasure, always. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame continues sipping the warm tea, letting it warm his body, protecting it from the cool breeze blowing through the window. He stands up slowly and walks to the window. He stares outiside at the night sky, and gestures for her to come over. "The stars and moon look quite beautiful tonight" MahayrQuote: Rising in one motion, she moves to join him by the window, her own cup still in hand. Following his gaze, her eyes go softer, looking up at the night sky. Her love of the expanse could not have been known to him, and she looks sideways at his face a moment before returning her attention to the heavens.
Slightly chilled by that breeze, she lowers her cup to the windowsill and closes it almost all the way, standing back up, retrievinig her vessel, sipping again and gazing upwards. Ohyes... it always is, nevermind the weather or storms, or calm or colour. Always, it is a wonder to behold. The moon is shrouded tonight, I love the misty veil of it. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame nods in agreement. "Yes, that is true... the wonders of the sky always appease me..." Mittsame continues to stare at the wonders of the sky, admiring the beauty and splendor of each pearl of light. "It is too bad that nights like these come naught once but a blue moon."

MahayrQuote: Appease... she wonders to herself why he chose that particular word and her eyes flicker once as she remembers something, but she keeps them on the sky, the moon... Yes... once in a blue, blue moon... With that she turns a bit too suddenly, shuffling her feet across the floor to return to her warmer furs, kneel again, set her tea down, and slip her hands into her sleeves, resting her nails against her skin and watching him again. Quietly. Serenity returns too slow. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame brushes back his hair and smiles. "I have secrets that no one should ever know... along with powers that no one should ever see... But the sky... it calms my body and spirit... He quietly returns to his former seat on the floor, being careful not to make noise, as many neighbors are sleeping. He turns to Mahayr. "You look troubled... is there something on your mind?" MahayrQuote: Keeping her attention once again on her guest, she smiles lightly, brushing a few strands of hair from her own face, flushing slightly at his notice of her sudden mood change. Straightening her back, she looks him in the face and shakes her head ever so slightly. No, just a passing memory, its nothing. Yes, I find the sky calming as well, to both. You seem wise beyond your years, if I may so. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame grins at Mahayr's comment. He notice her blushing and looks upon her face."Thank you... " He looks up as the clock in the room strikes 11:00. He grins again in anticipation of the sake. "Hmm... It's almost 12:00, just one more hour... " He digs into his bag that he had carried with him and pulls out fireworks. "I was saving these for a special time...like new years.... you should set them off though... Drunk people and fire dont mix. He laughs. MahayrQuote: Waving aside her momentary disconfiture, she smiles again and glances at the clock as well, then back to his face to nod her understanding. Standing again, she approaches him and reaches for the fireworks and makes her way out the door, knowing he will follow to watch their private celebration.
Setting them off, she is delighted with the colour and cracks, laughing then, her eyes twinking with the stars. Raising her hand she holds an invisible glass high, inclines her head to a man kind enough to keep her company and murmurs her cheers and blessings under her breath.
Facing him a final time, she rests a hand against his chest and looks up into his face. "Cheers to the night..." And with that, she is gone, a grateful end to a beautiful night.

pingpong867Quote: A small child enters the realm, walking along the edge of the forrest near the cotton candy lake. She picks at a piece of the spun sweetness and smiles, for it is the best she has tasted in a long time. She comes upon the oddly shaped rose bush and picks one of the flowers. She does not notice the small thorn as it pricks her finger, nor the tiny drop of blood spilled on the hem of her pretty pink taffeta birthday dress. "What a pleasant place to live," she comments idly, twirling the red rose with her fingers and staring up at the puffy white clouds. "What a very enchanting place." The child whistles shrilly, and from the sky comes a different sort of creature. Small it is, able to fit in the palm of the little girl's hand. It is a white horse, with flecks of black in its tail and mane. However, it has white wings and is able to fly. Surely it is nothing but a creature of legends, but here it is perching regally in the child's hand. She sits at the edge of the pond and sings softly to her pet. Through page 18 and the end of the first RP contest. Those results are in my re-created quest thread in here.
I will now begin copying from page 19.

nomeeQuote: *walks in on quiet feet, barely moving the air. Finding a comfortable spot and waiting for the return of Mahayr* thefuzz222Quote: *Mittsame waves at the new person* She probably wont be here until around noon or 5 oclock ish. Second contest begans here...ranjirQuote: ranjir slowly slips inside the Inn holding something in his hands behind his back. He looks around with a sigh. Muttering something to himself he pulls out a piece of parchment and begins to write. The note reads.
Mistress Mahayr, I can take this life no longer. I am tortured and tormented by something in my head. I leave you my box of possessions and a journal which I have started to keep. You may also have this strange mask which I found.
He then sets the mask to the side and picks up the dull bread knife which is attached to the counter. He then begins to hack violently at his wrist. thefuzz222Quote: *Mittsame appears next to Ranjir, grabbing the knife out of his hands* ranjirQuote: He stares at the man and attempts to pull out of his grip. "You know nothing of my pain! Of my loss!" He howls like a wild animal. "That is not a wise choice." LeonisQuote: Dark Mousy sits back smiling and lightly twiddling his thumbs. "Hurm... Yes... my plan is in motion already." He smirks as he watches the poor slave begin to writhe and howl in agony. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame stares at the man back. "So you would just throw your life away? Because of pain? You know nothing of pain my friend, to grow up hated by the world, to basicially live with no purpose.?" ranjirQuote: He howls louder tearing at his head, pulling out clumps of hair and skin as well soon his face is covered in blood. LeonisQuote: He makes a small gesture and the mask that was sitting beside the man comes flying to him. "Hurm... yes.. I think that this will work as a prize..." He muses silently to himself for a little bit.

KethraQuote: Kethra wanders in and looks at the boy who is still struggling with the man and the knife. She hurmphs and strides over grabbing the boy by the wrists and hauling him off to keep him safe from himself leaving the journal where it lay. pingpong867Quote: The little girl giggles to the small pony in her hands, watching the events unfolding close by. Blood has no meaning for her, and life is but a momentary pause for her. She has seen so many, the loss of one has no impact on her. It never has, as she was never to worry about her age, never to worry about sickness or death. Her winged horse whinnies softly in reply, watching with its keen eyes. It has never seen mortal death before. While the girl finds it all somewhat entertaining, the horse is frightened of the crimson blood staining the young man. "All mortals die, my pet," the girl chides the horse. "They age and go through much pain. For naught, I'm afraid. Poor dears." The girl laughs softly. "But we, pony, we cannot die. We do not bleed, and we never age." She smiles at this and continues to observe the area quietly. The girl still has not noticed the single drop of blood on her dress. nomeeQuote: * kneels nearby quietly watching kind souls struggle with a selfish boy who realizes not his value or what his life could mean. Watching a boy who sees only himself and not the people he will hurt. Watching kind souls trying to tell him that life is full of risks, ups and downs, and heartache and incredible bliss. Watching kind souls explain, tomorrow will still come and he would have missed it. Watching, with helplessness, as kind souls explain hardship is what makes the good times appreciated. Watching, heart bleeding, as kind souls tell him the wonderful music that exists that he will never hear again, the roses that he will never smell, the warmth of a lover that he will never feel or the sunshine that he will never see again. Watching as kind souls try to explain to him the joy of fatherhood he will miss, because he decided not to continue. Watching, tears shimmering unshed, as kind souls tell him of the joy of giving life and watching, guiding and being there to watch that life grow, mature and prosper because he chose to hang around to be a part of that life. Watching, with an inner aching, as kind souls tell him of the unconditional love that exists for him (that waits for him). Watching, with despair, as kind souls stuggle to tell him we all go through hard times one day at a time, but the blessing is another day. Watching, heart raging, as kind souls whisper "Please, stay with us and let us help". Watching, with a broken heart, as that same selfish boy turns away from those who love him and hurts them with his attempt to leave them behind. And finally, watching, a boy, no older than my son, choose to throw away a gift that was freely and lovingly given to him, life. Bowing head and praying fiercely, that this boy reconsiders and chooses to fight and live.* LeonisQuote: It begins to rain hard and heavy the thunder rattled the Inn and a single lightning bolt struck the pantie tree outside of the Inn and cleft it into two. As he passed by the girl on her horse he shakes his head and sprays her with water seeming to ignore her. The cotton candy lake is disolved away into a sugary mess at the bottom of a real lake. Even though it is raining as if there were a hurricane going on the "man" appears untouched as he slowly decends. His voice is loud and booming as the thunder for he is currently upset. "I AM THE SKY MOUSE and I am upset! WHO IS THE OWNER OF THIS WRETCHED BLIGHT!" ((Please do not try to kill this person or attack. He IS a God, or an avatar rather, but I don't like God-Moding so I would rather not fight as Sky Mouse)) MahayrQuote: Cringing at the noise, she turns her head to regard the man with a perplexed and then icy stare. Invading her territory is he? Here? I think not... "He is my wretch, and I have seen to him. He is safe and secured. Good day."

LeonisQuote: He growls lightly at the female and then lowers his voice slightly. "I was refering to this wretched building. It is a blight on the land. Once There was a vast forest here which I looked after and now... now.." He looks around in disgust. "Give me one good reason I should not simply wash you all away." MahayrQuote: Mahayr closes and locks the Inn doors before moving to stand in the middle of the common room. She raises her arms to the ceiling, leans her head back, closes her eyes and with a concerted effort, splays her fingers and throws a spell around the Inn and its lands, changing the environment entirely.
The new lands form and appear, the mirrored Inn replaces the real one. Here... everything will be safe on her other precious world, far away.
The new lake and Inn remain, the girl, the man, the woman... the others who enter and things continue.
They will find everything they need without touching her own private wheres. Even the shadowed presence of herownsweetself. MahayrQuote: Moving to approach him more closely from the changed building, she looks up at him and smiles. "Oh... this? It is a small thing to have here, in this vast forest, near that wonderful lake, and with these new people. Do not harm it, I ask you. We will do nothing to ruin the lands, I give you my word. And if someone does, then smite them at your own will. But do leave the Inn..." LeonisQuote: He growls a bit louder and the ferocity of the storm increases 5 fold. Some of the shingles are torn from the roof and scattered though if one looks carefully everything is set down somewhat carefully just before it reaches the remains of the forest. "ANSWER ME FOUL PRIESTESS!!" He roars his words boucing and echoing off of the hills in the distance. "WHY HAVE YOU DEFILED THIS PLACE OF PEACE!" MahayrQuote: She remains serene despite his rough insistance, glancing over as the storm rises and her Inn is affected. Raising her right arm, she twists her wrist to turn her hand to the sky, snapping it down with her fingers splaying once more. The shingles return, the storm eases, her eyes flash with their own lightening as she turns them back to his.
The mark on her face flares sharply and she moves her fingers there to calm it, and the man behind it... resting far away and who will be disturbed should he feel it... or her mild distress. "Calm your voice, My Lord, there is no need for screaming here. You invade your own peace, it seems. It is not defiled, it is improved, and you will do well to tread gently. You are not the only power." With that, she takes another step towards him, her boot tips touching his as she presses a hand to his chest and smiles up at him again. LeonisQuote: He stares at the woman as if examining her. He spits once right between her feet a small bolt of lightling shooting from his mouth. "See that no more changes are made... and that any animal killed is offered a proper burial... and make an offering once a month... and I shall spare this place... Do more and I may throw a carnival." MahayrQuote: She waits quietly, watching his face as he speaks and inclining her head to him slowly as she understands. Stomping a foot where he spit, she seals the deal wordlessly, and will remember his conditions.
Smiling then, she thinks a carnival may be fun... and she lowers her arm to consider offerings.

LeonisQuote: The Great Sky Mouse sits in his lodge looking over those below. Those toiling and ruining his area. He closes his eyes and tries to erase them from his mind, paying no attention to them. He sighs and looses a bit of fog to float over and cover the inn and that glade. Though this was no ordinary fog... This fog is alive... and feeds off of people's memories. In doing so it causes them to relive events from their life. Some pleasent, some not so pleasent. He smiles as he gets ready to watch what he believes might be an interesting show. thefuzz222Quote: Mittsame appears in the center of the forest in a swirl of sand and wind. He looks around and immediatly notices the fog "What in the world is this fog? and how is it happening...? Its the middle of the d..." "ARRGH!!!!!" He screams in pain, "Whats happening??" he says as memories start to play back in his mind. "You killed them... didnt you?" He hears an evil laugh sweep through his mind "YES... they were a perfect sacrifice, perfect for a test of my power" "What's happening?? That was... was... me... long ago.... Dammit... why am i remembering it now...." "Kyuutesuki Mittsame, i presume..." " Yes... what is it...." "Well the leaders back a Sunagakure wish for you to be the next Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village. He hears someone scoff loudly "Ill accept... on one condition... the current Kazekage must no longer be alive...." " And this was when i was offered to be the next Kazekage" Suddenly everything goes black as Mittsame faints from the memories. Cassandra022Quote: She opened her violet eyes only to notice a thick fog surounding her. It was gray, or white, or perhaps a bit silverish; she was unable to tell the exact color. Blinking a few times, Ayelet brough her gaze up, and her eyes widened slighly. She was in a dungeon, black iron chains binding her wrists and biting painfully into her skin. Shackled like a dog. She blinked again and the image was gone. The girl was once again in the strange place, the fog. She looked down at herself, only to see that her dress, a dark, greyish purple, was in tact, not torn or ripped, and that she was not bound in any way. Confused, Ayelet took a few tentative steps foward. She didn't bother to brush away the strands of silver hair that had fallen into her face, didn't even seem to notice them. Where was she? A small black dog trotting behind her on a dusty country road, yipping when she tried to ignore it. That image too was gone, fading almost as fast as it appeared. The girl thought she heard voices, and turned towards them, unsureif it was anoter memory or something else. She walked foward a few steps, then stopped, hesistating. Biting her lips ever so slighly. She moved towards the direction the sound had come from again. MahayrQuote: She watched from her safe distance - inside the Inn at the window, looking out - watched the fog come, watched the man faint, watched the girl wander away for apparently some remembered or envisioned reason... and heard the echo of some distant laughter.
Yes... the fog was too close, even for her. Surely she was beyond being so easily affected, being under the power of someone other than her Mate. Still, she would stay inside for the moment, and secure the areas under the doors and windows...
Frowning slightly, she looks up and into the sky. Pulling our strings, is he? We will see who has the final power, then. Cassandra022Quote: Ayelet continued trying to find the voices, but the source of them alluded her. When she got closer the whispers would fade, only to appear again, coming from a different places. She wondered aimlessly after a while, half-wondering if she'd gone insane. Maybe that was why the memories and visions wouldn't go away. Random moments they were. Her mother giving her a half-burned, sweet honeycake for her fifth birthday. Her chasing Nataniel, playing some sort of game. A tall man in breeches with a scar crossing his faces, his eyes burning into her. She walked, refusing to run, partly out of some sort of pride -- she didn't want to make a fool of herself even if no one was looking -- and partly because she had nowhere to run to. She didn't know where she was, and couldn't for the life of her remember how she got there. After a while of such dazed wondering the girl saw light in front of her, through the fog. A black barbed whip and another woman screaming. She walked towards it. It wasn't, as she had first suspected, another false image or a mirage. I was, she realized as she got closer, and Inn. Not pausing to think of it much -- the inside of an Inn was surely better then standing in the fog outside, Ayelet walked to the nearest door, which she assumed to be the front entrance. This time she did brush the silver hair out of her face, as well as smooth out her skirts. She glanced down at her bare arms, barely noticing the old, pale scars against her dark skin. She wore no jewelry, and couldn't decide whether it was a good or band thing; she wanted to look decent, presentable. Nervously licking her lips and taking a deep breath -- though exactly why she was nervous was beyond her -- Ayelet knocked on the door loudly, then brought her arms to her sides again, waiting for someone to answer.

MahayrQuote: Watching through the window still, she observes the girl and sees her approach, making her way quickly to the door to open it suddenly when she knocks. Taking her gently by the shoulder, she pulls her inside, to the warmth and safety of her home and hearth.
She asks no questions, she can see on the girls face her torment and confusion and so guides her to the fire and sits her on the setee, covering her legs with a quilt before going into the kitchen to fetch her a new mug of hot cocoa.
Returning to the girl, she slips the aromatic stuff in its warm mug into her hands, holding her own there a moment to be sure it is held steady. Straightening, she smiles at the wanderer and waits quiet, glancing once again towards the window. ranjirQuote: Ranjir stummbles in from the back room and heads for the door in a sort of half daze muttering softly about losing something important and not knowing where it is. He stummbles towards the front door his eyes sort of half glazed over almost as if he were under some sort of spell. Cassandra022Quote: The door opened almost as soon as Ayelet knocked on it, a woman standing at the other side. The giurl let out a breath, relieved that it wasn't a man. Though some male innkeepers were perfectly decent, or close enough to it, there were more then a few, in her experience, that a young girl travelling alone wasn't well off meeting. She allowed herself to be led into the inn and by the fire, grateful that someone was leading her. In such situations, it was always easier to be led, to be told what to do and calmed. Ayelet's eyes focused on the flames, seeing something for a moment, indistinct, before it faded away. The images here weren't nearly as harsh or vivid or almost non-stop as they were outside. Shaking her head slightly, she pulled her gaze away, just as the other woman entered the room. When she was given the hot mug, the girl smiled gratefully. She held it up for a moment, taking in the pleasant aroma before bringing it to her lips and taking a sip. The hot fluid was delicious, and Ayelet realized quite suddenly that she couldn't remember the last time she'd eaten or drank anything. She took a few more sips. Her eyes were drawn to a hint of movement in her peripheral vision; turning, Ayelet saw a man stumbling in froma back room. She watched him for a moment, then turned back to the woman. It wasn't her concern. "Thank you" she said softly, slightly surprised at the sound of her voice. "My name is Ayelet" she added, almost as an afterthought. Hila MeiQuote: "Yes mom, I'll be careful." The black-haired woman blinked and clutched the bags she was carrying a little tighter. Had she just said that out loud or not? Images of herself at dinner, of her mother designing by candle light and her father at the fire. The images changed into sounds. Screams that rang through her ears and she thought she'd banned from her memory. Nin glanced at the figure walking next to her as the recollections faded out again and squeezed his hand a little when she could make out the inn through the thick fog, not so very far from where they were standing now. She tugged on his arm and changed directions, walking up to it. MahayrQuote: Mahayr smiles as she watches the girl settle and become more comfortable, sensing her eased ditress even if it was not entirely dispelled. She would be safe inside, away from the tighter grip of that fog...
Scowling slightly as she considers that, she takes a breath and rests a hand on the girl's arm before seeing ranjir and jerking slightly, turning to murmur in some haste to the girl, "Very nice to meet you, you're welcome... Stay inside."
And with that she turns and strides to the man, reaching him before he can open the doors... taking his arm and jerking him towards the kitchen, through the side door behind the pantry and into the kennels where she releases her grip, pushes him inside, and closes the barred grate. Pulling the key from her bodice, she turns it, locking him safe and sound inside.
Where she will know where he is. Where he will be out of danger and trouble. Where he will be seen to. Where she will not have to worry over him again, and may speak to him at her leisure.
Leaving him there in his stupor, she returns the key to its place and herself to the girl, where she stands quietly and smiles again.
Something... she turns her head towards the door once more, to wait for someone she can feel nearby. Someone.

ShakespearQuote: He stummbles forward seeing suddenly a bloody corpse before him he begins to cry out in pain and anger and frustration. For he buried this deep in the back of his mind. He sees himself standing over a young prince a sword in his hand hacking at the body as guards begin to slowly surround him. He falls beneath their weight and is dragged off. Suddenly he is younger and sitting in an Elven Inn playing wearing a very poor disguise for his mandolin is highly decorated. He laughs a little and begins to dance with the woman who is holding his hand. The memory slowly fades and he blinks looking at Nin. He coughs a little and goes quiet. He readjusts the bags that are tied to his back and heads back towards the inn at a slow steady pace. Hila MeiQuote: Heading for the door, she frowned. Though it seemed like a safe haven, or at least for a short while, they couldn't know what awaited them in there and she hesitated a little, but allowed herself to be guided by his determined pace and continued walking up to the inn. Taking a deep breath, she put her slender hand on the doorknob and directed a small smile at Soluna before twisting the copper bulb and stepping inside. MahayrQuote: Shivering once, she moves back to the window and peers out into the overcast afternoon, the fog casting its shroud too heavily over the lands. Squinting, she searches for the energies she knows are out there... two, three... more?
She will be ready when they arrive, the kitchen is well-stocked, the rooms are clean and prepared. The servants are busy, food is on the stove and waiting, hot beverages will be easy to pour and serve.
Looking over a shoulder, she checks on the girl... resting comfortably she sees, sipping her cocoa. She will need a meal. They all will...
As the door opens, she again crosses the short distance to greet her visitors, smiling as they enter and bowing slightly. Good day, travellers... do come in. ShakespearQuote: He shivers as he makes his way inside a haunted look on his face as he shivers. "Yes.. thank you... Me and my... wife..." He glances to Nin.. "would like a place to rest... If.. if anyuone asks for me.. or her.. we.. we are not here? Ok?" His voice sounds weary and tired his expression is that of one who has been hunted with out rest. KethraQuote: Slowly Kethra began to descend the spiral staircase from the second floor. She peers about. "Hurm.. what is going on...? Is breakfasat going to be served today or must I go and do everything myself?" Her voice is huffy and full of self-importance... "Or should I have that silly little slave do it for me... Hurm.. yes.. I believe I shall have him prepare my breakfast." Hila MeiQuote: Nin glanced from him to their hostess and back, before nodding her head in agreement. She had the same exhausted glow over her. Letting out a small sigh, she leaned against a table. "You... wouldn't have anything to help with a headache, would you?" she then asked. MahayrQuote: Inclining her head as she listens, she nods her understanding even as she moves to close the door and draw them more inside. Indicating the fire and sitting areas, she guides them closer to the girl already seated and sipping her warm beverage. You will be in room 12, on the second floor. The key is in the door. There is some trouble afoot, I think we will be having a full house before too long. The kitchen is well stocked and the servants have everything arranged, all you need do is ask. Or help yourselves, of course. I will be setting a table later for everyone, but feel free to eat and drink at anytime. With a tight smile, she glances at the window another time, her nerves beginning to fray a bit with worry. How can she find that Mouse... Diety?!
Turning away from them then, she enters the kitchen to make further arrangements and give her orders, before slipping up the tower stairs and into her chambers for a while.
