Reality hurts.
Some people don't seem to get that.
"Hello?" Blake shouted, knocking constantly on the door.
Kristi had said she'd be home, promising him she would be back that day.
"Kristi?" He questioned aloud, continuing the knocks.
He looked up at her window, a figure rustled from the drapes, there was light inside.Laughter began to fade into his ears, heavy steps down stairs, the door opened.Kristi smiled at him, Lavender behind her.
"Blake!" She yelled jumping at him, embracing him in her arms.
"Kristi, you're back." He said happily.
"I said I would be didn't I?" Kristi smiled, kissing him lightly.
Blake could feel tension, in the corner of his eye Lavender stared.
"Glad you're back, love" Blake said happily.
"Well then hurry up and come in" Kristi laughed, pulling him inside.
"I'm gonna finish up" Lavender walked off, paying no attention to Blake.
"She hates me, I know it" Blake said, watching her go up to stairs.
"Nah, she just a little stressed. Look, I have to finish up with her, I'll be back real fast. There's food in the living room" Kristi told Blake, giving him another kiss.He smiled, and she ran up the stairs after Lavender.Blake went into the living room, eating the food left on the table.He turned on the TV, white noise screamed at him.
"AGH!" He yelled, lowering the volume, changing the channels.
The white noise consisted on every station he turned to.
"Kristi, whats up with your TV?" Blake yelled, getting no response.
"Kristi?" He said, slowly walking up the stairs.
An eerie silence filled the house.Blake went up to the closed door to Kristi's room, grabbing the door knob.
"Kristi?" He questioned silently, opening the door, pulling his hand away at a wet feeling.
Blake examined his hand, it was covered in a red substance.
"Paint?" He asked himself, walking into the room.
Kristi sat in her spinning chair, gazing at the computer.
"Kristi! You had me worried..." He said, spinning the chair.
His eyes widened at the gruesome image.A pair of large scissors were lodged into her neck, tape on her mouth.Kristi's eyes were rolled back, blood stained her green shirt from under.Blake pulled up her shirt to reveal the wounds.Cut into her stomach, words, letters, bleeding profusely.

"She stole you from me..." A voice said.
Blake spun around, to see Lavender.She was cutting construction paper into the shape of a bunch of girls holding hands.
"You stole her from me..." Lavender said "I was left with nobody..."
"Lavender..." Blake said
"I loved you... you didn't get that" She continued "And I couldn't have you"
Lavender's eyes began tearing.
"So neither could she" Lavender cried, and stood up.
She held the scissors out.
"Knowing you, you won't be with me now anyway..." She said "So I need to kill you too..."
Lavender walked towards Blake, scissors pointed at him.
A loud beeping sounded.
Blake shot out of his bed.
"Only a dream..." He said relieved.
He ran out to the phone and called Kristi's house.
"Hello?" A voice said.
"Lavender! Is Kristi there...?" Blake replied.
"..."
"Lavender?"
"You didn't see the news? Your parents didn't tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"Kristi's plane crashed on it's way back here... Kristi and her mom are dead..."
Blake began shaking, his eyes watering.
"Really...?" He asked
"Yea..." Lavender replied.
"But... the future, we were supposed to... We were going to be together forever and... we were sup-"
"Shut up Blake."
"...!"
"You're always talking to Kristi and I about reality, looking at reality."
"..."
"Well you just got a taste of reality didn't you?"
"but me and Kr-"
"I knew it, and now you do too."
"..."
"Reality hurts doesn't it, Blake?" Lavender said.
The phone clicked, Blake fell onto his couch crying.
